A gallery walk is a teaching strategy where students work in small groups to move around the classroom and provide feedback on questions, projects, or materials displayed at different stations. Teachers first prepare the questions or materials to display around the room. Students then rotate in their groups between stations, spending 5-10 minutes examining and discussing each one. Finally, the class reconvenes for a whole-group discussion. Gallery walks promote engagement, collaboration, and critical thinking as students learn from their peers.
