Text: Gen 37:18-28

Joseph's brothers were jealous of his dreams and planned to kill him. Reuben convinced them instead to throw Joseph into an empty cistern. Meanwhile, Ishmaelite traders passed by and Judah suggested selling Joseph to them instead of killing him, which is what they did for twenty pieces of silver. Though meant for harm, God used these events to ultimately protect and promote Joseph in Egypt.
The document discusses biblical passages about human sin and God's love. It describes stories from Judges and 2 Samuel where people acted selfishly and sinned, like Samson indulging himself and David committing adultery. However, it also references passages showing that God still loves people despite their sin, like how Christ died for humanity while they were still sinners. The heart is portrayed as naturally sinful, but God offers forgiveness and salvation through faith in Him.
Six cities among the Tribe of Levi were sprinkled strategically on both sides of the Jordan River. They were cities of refuge, sanctuary cities for those fleeing for safety from an avenging family when there was an unintentional homicide.
Exodus 13 - 15. The journey into the wilderness for Israel began with powerful demonstrations to Jehovah's power and love for his people, yet the people still struggled with fear and unbelief. It’s important that we constantly see our salvation and remember the power and love of the one who delivers us.
This message is part of a series called Do Hard Things. Taking a Stand is an introduction to the book of Exodus and a call for people to take a counter-cultural stand in the world.
The document summarizes the biblical story of Ruth, a Moabite woman who demonstrates loyalty, courage, and virtue. After her husband dies, she refuses to leave her mother-in-law Naomi and moves with her to Bethlehem. There, Ruth gleans grain in the fields of Boaz, a close relative of Naomi's family. Impressed with Ruth's character, Boaz eventually marries her, and they have a son who continues Naomi's family line. The story illustrates the importance of kindness toward strangers and upholds Ruth as a model of faith, devotion, and excellence.

1. The document is a sermon warning about the dangers of sin and seduction.
2. It cautions that those who are easily seduced into sin do not consider the destructive consequences, focusing only on momentary pleasure.
3. The sermon uses the metaphor of a "strange woman" or "seducer" to represent any temptation that could lead people astray from God through flattery and promises of sin without consequences.
- David inquires of the Lord and is told to go to Hebron, where he is anointed king over Judah.
- War breaks out between Israel and Judah, culminating in Abner killing Asahel in battle.
- Abner later defects to David's side but is murdered by Joab. David laments for Abner.
- Ish-bosheth is killed by men seeking to curry favor with David, who has them executed in turn.
This document contains a summary of 2 Samuel 10, which describes King David sending envoys to comfort King Hanun after his father's death. Hanun's advisers make him suspicious of David's motives. In response, Hanun humiliates David's envoys by shaving off half their beards and cutting their clothes. When David hears this, he shows compassion to his men. In retaliation for the insult, the Ammonites hire other armies against Israel, but Joab and David defeat them in battle.

The document discusses the history and lessons of Babylon through three iterations:
1. Babylon started as the Tower of Babel under Nimrod but was stopped by God confusing languages.
2. The ancient city of Babylon rose to power under kings like Nebuchadnezzar and influenced Israelite exile.
3. Revelation prophesies a final "Babylon" representing immorality, false religion, and persecution that will ultimately be destroyed by God.
A verse by verse commentary on Zephaniah 3 dealing with the future of Jerusalem and all of its woes. It deals with the fire of God's wrath that threatens to consume the whole world. The chapter ends with good news for the Lord will restore his people and bless them, and they will have honor among the nations.
Paul traveled throughout regions preaching and exhorting disciples. He had an extended meeting with disciples in Greece, speaking to them until midnight about Jesus. A young man fell from a window but was revived by Paul. Paul then sailed to Assos, warning disciples in every city about impending trials. He reminded the Ephesian elders of his work among them and of the need for vigilance against false prophets. Paul commended the disciples to God and prayed with them before departing, as they wept at his farewell.
The document summarizes a story about two friends who were separated for many years due to war. One friend traveled to visit the other, but was arrested for espionage. He pleaded with the king to let him return home to settle his affairs, offering his friend to take his place if he did not return in time. The friend agreed. On the appointed day, the first friend had not returned, so the second friend was prepared for execution. However, at the last moment the first friend arrived. Both friends argued over who should be executed, displaying their deep friendship. The king was moved and offered to become their third friend.

The angel of the Lord spoke to the Israelites, reminding them that God brought them out of Egypt and into the promised land, but that they had disobeyed God by making covenants with the native people instead of driving them out as commanded. As a result, God would no longer drive out the native peoples but instead allow them to remain as traps and snares for the Israelites. After Joshua and the elders who had seen God's works died, the new generation did not know God and served Baals instead of God, causing God's anger and allowing enemies to oppress them until judges arose to save them. However, the people would not listen to the judges and turned back to idols after each judge died.
In summary, with regards to Israel, we must follow two important commandments that guide our relationships with the outside world. First, there is the imperative to love our neighbor and the stranger. Second is the dictum to wholly defend ourselves from our enemies who seek our destruction. While on the surface these may pose a contradiction, in reality, they do not, because if our neighbors and the strangers among us are willing to live in genuine peace with us then we gladly and actively will extend the olive branch in peace and brotherhood. But if unfortunately, our neighbors are bent on our genocide then we must fight them.
A. Wise men from the East followed the star to find Jesus and worship him. Though the religious leaders knew where the Messiah would be born, they did not seek him. B. King Herod tricked the wise men to find Jesus so he could kill him, fulfilling prophecies of Jesus' death. C. Joseph, Mary and Jesus fled to Egypt and later settled in Nazareth, also fulfilling prophecies.
The document appears to be a retelling of the biblical story of Jesus' birth from the book of Matthew. It describes how wise men came from the east to worship the newborn king of the Jews, Jesus, after seeing his star. It also tells of King Herod's attempts to kill Jesus by massacring all young male children. The document shares that Joseph, Mary and Jesus fled to Egypt and later settled in Nazareth.

God invites the Israelites to journey to the promised land of Canaan and sends spies to survey the land. The spies report that the land is prosperous but the people living there are strong. Most of the Israelites are afraid to continue the journey due to the strength of the current inhabitants. God allows the Israelites to choose whether to continue into the land or return to Egypt. Only Joshua and Caleb have faith that God will give them victory. As punishment for the Israelites' lack of faith, God condemns that generation to wander in the desert until they die, excluding Joshua and Caleb.

A Levite's concubine was raped and murdered by men from the tribe of Benjamin in Gibeah. The Levite cut her body into 12 pieces and sent them throughout Israel to demand justice. The Israelites gathered a large army to attack Gibeah for this crime. The tribe of Benjamin refused to hand over the guilty men and also gathered an army to defend Gibeah, though they were greatly outnumbered by the Israelite army.
1) Dinah, daughter of Jacob, visits neighboring villages and is raped by Shechem, son of local prince Hamor.
2) Shechem and his father Hamor propose marriage to make things right. Dinah's brothers agree on condition the whole town circumcises themselves.
3) On the third day of recovery, Dinah's brothers Simeon and Levi kill Hamor, Shechem and the entire male population of the town in revenge for the dishonor against their sister.
Behold a Law of love that Moses the prophet of the Almighty taught. These slides Explore the law of Love from the Torah and the prophets - Love towards enemies, strangers and poor.
In all of the bible two commands stand out.
1 Love God
2 Love your neighbour.
Once these concepts are understood, it is then easy for one to see how Jesus derived his teaching from the law and the prophets and interpreted it in the context of the Roman oppression of his times. Moses gave these laws in the context of being redeemed out of Egypt during the wilderness journey as they were being prepared to enter the promised land.
"What is written in the LAW? HOW READEST THOU? "- Jesus
"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." - Paul
The document discusses the marriage relationship between Yeshua (Jesus) and Israel. It describes how Israel committed adultery by worshipping other gods and was exiled/divorced. However, Yeshua's death severed the marriage covenant, making it possible for Him to redeem Israel and take her as His bride again. The marriage between Adam and Eve in Eden is cited as foreshadowing the marriage of Yeshua to His bride, the redeemed house of Israel.
The document discusses the marriage relationship between God (YHVH) and Israel according to biblical passages. It describes how Israel was unfaithful and took other gods as husbands, leading to their exile/divorce. However, through the death and resurrection of Messiah, the marriage covenant was able to be restored, allowing Israel to return to God despite their previous adultery. The redemption of Israel through Messiah is compared to remarrying a spouse after the death of the previous partner in accordance with Torah law.

1) It was springtime, when kings traditionally went forth to battle. While Joab and the Israelite army besieged the Ammonite city of Rabbah, David remained idle in Jerusalem.
2) One evening from his rooftop, David saw a woman bathing and inquired about her, learning she was Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah.
3) By staying in Jerusalem instead of joining the battle, David left himself vulnerable to temptation that would lead to adultery with Bathsheba and the eventual murder of her husband Uriah.
Joseph is a key figure in the old testament. His life is very well chronicled in the book of Genesis. This is the first of a series of 6 total sermons. By Brian Birdow. www.cmcoc.org to listen to complete series
1) The document is about King David returning to Jerusalem as king after Absalom's failed revolution. As David crosses the Jordan River, Shimei, who had previously cursed David, falls down before him and repents.
2) Abishai believes Shimei should be put to death for cursing the king, but David refuses, not wanting bloodshed on a day of celebration.
3) The document discusses how true repentance requires a turning from sin to righteousness, not just words of apology. It warns that without genuine transformation, those who profess faith are not truly saved.
The document discusses cities of refuge in the Bible. It notes that cities were appointed for unintentional manslayers to flee to for protection from avengers of blood. Six cities were named as cities of refuge - three on each side of the Jordan River. Those who fled to the cities were given a trial and had to remain there until the high priest's death. However, the cities provided no protection for intentional murderers. The concept of cities of refuge is also used illustratively to represent Christ and the hope of the gospel.
The Test of Adversity (Life in the Pit) - Genesis 37Adrian Kerr
The document discusses Joseph's life journey from age 17 to 30 based on the biblical account in Genesis 37-41. It highlights how gossip and favoritism bred resentment among Joseph's brothers, and his insensitivity intensified their jealousy and anger. Though they threw him in a pit, the document suggests that sometimes hardship is part of God's plan, and believers can find hope by reflecting on God's faithfulness in the past and presence in the present.
The document outlines various ways in which the happiness and prosperity of the wicked is fleeting and uncertain. It notes that their happiness is limited to this life and often interrupted by divine judgments. While the wicked may enjoy wealth, power, and worldly pleasures for a time, their end is destruction, as the saints are sometimes permitted to witness. The happiness of the wicked is derived from vain and temporary sources and does not last, in contrast to the lasting happiness of the righteous.
How do we respond in that moment when we feel we tried God and sensed His move, but now we are right back deep in the problem trying to battle it with little or no strength? An incident in the life of King Jehoshaphat and David provides us with helpful instruction on the subject of strengthening ourselves in the Lord so we are prepared to face severe trials and problems.

God’s Restrictions for Gideon’s Ground ForcesBible Preaching
God established four restrictions for Gideon's ground forces to follow:
1) No cowards - those who were fearful and afraid were sent home, reducing the army from 32,000 to 10,000.
2) No one conceited - those who bowed down to drink water instead of lapping it with their hands were sent home, reducing the army to 300.
3) No cynics - Gideon was given assurance of victory before engaging with the enemy forces to prevent negative attitudes.
4) No capitulation - the remaining 300 soldiers pursued the enemy forces even when faint, refusing to give up. Strict adherence to God's rules helped Gideon achieve victory against the larger Midianite

Isaac grows old and his eyes dim, so he asks his son Esau to hunt venison so he can bless him before death. Rebekah overhears and tricks Isaac into blessing Jacob instead by disguising him as Esau. When Esau discovers this, he vows to kill Jacob after Isaac's death. Rebekah sends Jacob away to her brother Laban's house to avoid Esau's wrath until his anger subsides. The document examines themes of sight, struggle, and separation within the passage and concludes that true comfort comes through sanctification by the Holy Spirit rather than human schemes.
Isaac sowed crops and received a hundredfold return, prospering greatly with flocks, herds, and servants. However, the Philistines grew envious and stopped up wells dug by Isaac's father. Abimelech told Isaac to leave, so he moved and redug the wells, persevering despite opposition. Through patience, diligence, and recognizing God's blessings, Isaac retained prosperity and found peace at Rehoboth. The document examines the proper means to prosperity through effort, God's favor, enduring hardship patiently, and gratitude.

6. The “So” of Personality- Nehemiah 5:15
“So did I”
7. The “So” of Power- Nehemiah 8:11
“So the Levites stilled all the people”
Conclusion:
Small words have their position as do seemingly insignificant people;
So take Nehemiah’s example and apply yourself to your position as God accomplishes His mission.

This document analyzes Genesis 25:21-24, which describes Isaac praying for his barren wife Rebekah and she conceiving twins. It is divided into four sections:
1. The Waiting - Describes Isaac praying for 20 years for children like Abraham waited.
2. The Wondering - References Rebekah wondering what was happening in her body as the twins struggled.
3. The Warring - Discusses the twins (Jacob and Esau) warring in the womb and foreshadowing their relationship, with the younger serving the older.
4. Conclusion - States that for Christians, every day is a day to reckon or account for, like
This document discusses the life of Isaac based on passages from the Bible. It is divided into three sections:
I. Leaving - Discussing Isaac after the death of his father Abraham.
II. Receiving - How God blessed Isaac after Abraham's death.
III. Residing - Mentions Isaac resided by the well Lahairoi, the same place where Hagar met an angel and where Isaac lived when he married Rebekah.
The document uses Isaac's life to draw parallels about having strength in times of loss and how God provides for those who trust in him.

The document discusses the importance and power of God's word as revealed in scripture. It notes that the disciples could relate their eyewitness experience of Jesus' transfiguration on the Mount because they had God's word in writing to back up their testimony. It then provides numerous Bible verses emphasizing that the word of God is perfect, eternal, a light, spirit, judge, saves souls, true, faithful, settled in heaven, should not be blasphemed, pure, and holy.
Rebekah is presented as a type of the Christian church in the Old Testament. Some key points:
1) Rebekah is a Gentile who marries Isaac, representing Christians (Gentiles) joining with Christ (promised seed).
2) She is called out of her homeland and family to follow Abraham's servant to marry Isaac, representing Christians being called out of the world.
3) She believes and follows in faith without seeing Isaac first, representing the Christian's faith in an unseen God.
4) She accepts the proposal brought to her by Abraham's servant, representing Christians accepting the offer of salvation brought by the Holy Spirit.
5) The gifts given to her fore
The document argues that the overturning of Roe v. Wade highlights the need to abstain from premarital sex or "fornication" as commanded in the Bible. It provides several biblical passages from Acts, 1 Corinthians, Ephesians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, and Revelation that prohibit fornication and command believers to abstain from it. The document claims abstaining from fornication, rather than defending abortion rights, should be the focus for Christians in light of the new ruling.
This document discusses how one can prove their love for God through desire, obedience, and commitment. It examines several Bible passages to support this. Specifically, it argues that love for God is shown through: 1) Craving His word and hiding it in one's heart to avoid sin; 2) Compliance with His commands, as Jesus complied with the Father's command to lay down His life; and 3) Commitment to watch, pray, and follow God's word at all times, as Jesus was committed to the Father's commandment. The document concludes by summarizing that love for God is proven through desire for His word, demonstration of obedience to His commands, and determined commitment to follow His word.

Introduction
Mantra Yoga is an exact science. "Mananat trayate iti mantrah- by the Manana (constant thinking or recollection) of which one is protected or is released from the round of births and deaths, is Mantra." That is called Mantra by the meditation (Manana) on which the Jiva or the individual soul attains freedom from sin, enjoyment in heaven and final liberation, and by the aid of which it attains in full the fourfold fruit (Chaturvarga), i.e., Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. A Mantra is so called because it is achieved by the mental process.

This book is one of the best of the translated ones, for it has a warning character for all those who find themselves in the experience of material life. Irmão X provides a shrewd way of describing the subtleties and weaknesses that can jeopardize our intentions, making us more attentive and vigilant by providing us with his wise pages, reminding us between the lines of the Master's words: "Pray and watch."
Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

1. The Cruelty of Convenient
Covetousness
Text: Gen 37:18-28
Intro:
Gen 37:1-4
1 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was
a stranger, in the land of Canaan.
2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being
seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his
brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah,
and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and
Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.
3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children,
because he was the son of his old age: and he made
him a coat of many colours.
4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved
him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and
could not speak peaceably unto him.
2. Here we find the usual “middle east conflict resolution”
The brothers conspired to kill Josephand put
his body in a pit (v20).
Reuben proposes to put him in a pit but not
kill him (v21-22).
Judah seizes an opportunity to make money
on him by selling him to the Ishmaelites (26-
27).
After this seemingly profound scheme, no doubt
there was an adrenaline rush of triumph.
The plan was so perfectly executed that be brothers
wouldn’t have to even get their hands dirty.
However, the unseen stain of Joseph’s blood would
stain their hands and defile their conscience for the
next 22 years.
Just because a plan can be conspired conveniently
or completed quickly doesn’t mean it will end
peaceably.
Gen 37:20-22
3. 20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast
him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast
hath devoured him: and we shall see what will
become of his dreams.
I. Mocking Murders- Gen 37:18-19
Gen 37:18-19
18 And when they saw him afar off, even before he
came near unto them, they conspired against him to
slay him.
19 And they said one to another, Behold, this
dreamer cometh.
“Behold, this dreamer”
“Venting” is the first round loaded in the
revolver of rebellion.
2Sam 6:20 Then David returned to bless his
household. And Michal the daughter of Saul
came out to meet David, and said, How
glorious was the king of Israel to day, who
4. uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the
handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain
fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!
Ps 22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would
deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he
delighted in him.
Matt 27:29 And when they had platted a crown
of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed
in his right hand: and they bowed the knee
before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King
of the Jews!
Matt 27:42 He saved others; himself he
cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him
now come down from the cross, and we will
believe him.
Matt 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he
was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding
wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children
that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts
5. thereof, from two years old and under,
according to the time which he had diligently
enquired of the wise men.
Murder “let us slay him, and cast him into some
pit”
Ps 64:5 They encourage themselves in an evil
matter: they commune of laying snares privily;
they say, Who shall see them?
Prov 1:11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay
wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent
without cause:
Prov 1:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the
grave; and whole, as those that go down into
the pit:
Prov 1:16 For their feet run to evil, and make
haste to shed blood.
6. Prov 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is
outrageous; but who is able to stand before
envy?
Acts 17:5 But the Jews which believed not,
moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd
fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a
company, and set all the city on an uproar, and
assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to
bring them out to the people.
Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes
foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers
lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy,
hateful, and hating one another.
1John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a
murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath
eternal life abiding in him.
Gen 37:26 And Judah said unto his brethren, What
profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his
blood?
7. We should ask ourselves this question, What profit
is it?
Gen 42:22 And Reuben answered them, saying,
Spake I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against
the child; and ye would not hear? therefore,
behold, also his blood is required.
II. Mercenary for Money- Gen 37:27-28
Gen 37:27-28
27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and
let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother
and our flesh. And his brethren were content.
28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen;
and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit,
and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces
of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
Judah’s proposal seems to contain mercy, but it
was the Cruelty of Covetousness wrapped in a
thin veneer of mercy.
8. It is not unusual for malice of covetous men to be
masked in a show of generosity and kindness.
Matt 15:8 This people drawethnigh unto me
with their mouth, and honoureth me with
their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Prov 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is
he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart
is not with thee.
III. Mutating Moderator- Gen 27:21-22
Gen 37:21-22
21 And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him
out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.
22 And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but
cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay
no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their
hands, to deliver him to his father again.
“And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him”
9. Sometimes one sin is cast out by another, more
deceitful and devastating sin.
All the brethren of Joseph were equally guilty.
Some entertained the sin of murder.
Ruben, the deception of compromising with sin.
He wanted to save Joseph, but secretly, he
wouldn’t take a stand for right and offend the
crowd.
Judah was bitten with the poisonous puff adder of
profit.
Before we take credit for being free from the sin
of murder, compromise, or greed, consider
whether its absence is banished by grace or
simply replaced by another sin.
10. Acts 7:9
And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph
into Egypt: but God was with him,
