2. Welcome to my new legacy, the Collins legacy. Since the exchange patch isn’t working for me and I don’t want my legacy chapters in different places, I decided to start a new legacy until the exchange is up and working again. Also, I will be keeping score with my own scoring that a friend of mine came up with for a joint legacy that got deleted accidently.
3. With that said, lets meet our new founder: Poppy Collins. Poppy is a knowledge sim with a lifetime want to become City Planner. She has skintone number 1 and custom brown eyes. She’s a Virgo with a personality of 10/5/5/0/5. So she’s very neat and very serious, but pretty average other than that. Poppy will be starting out in a dorm at Sim State University.
4. The first thing Poppy did upon arriving at her dorm, was claim her room and then lock it so that the annoying dormies wouldn’t be able to enter her room whenever they please.
5. This is what her room looks like. Pretty boring and plain. It honestly looks more like a boys dorm to me.
6. With the money that she had and then with the money she got from selling the items already in her bedroom, Poppy was able to redecorate her room and make it look more feminine. She stole one of the computers from the dorm since the dormies don’t use them.
7. After checking out the new items I put in her bedroom, Poppy declared a major in Art since that would help her get her dream career of architecture.
8. After declaring her major, Poppy went upstairs to get the skills she would need for her first semester of college.
9. After getting the three skill points she needed and attending her very first college class, Poppy wrote her first of eight term papers.
10. Her professor is constantly calling Poppy to chat, which is helpful to Poppy’s grade since it helps raise her assignment bar.
11. It doesn’t take long, and soon Poppy has completed her first semester of her freshman year.
12. Like before, Poppy gets the skills she needs for her new semester in college, and then writes her next term paper.
13. Since Poppy has 10 neat point, she maxes out her cleaning skill very quickly.
14. And Poppy is officially a sophomore in college! She makes the cutest faces, don’t you think?
15. Another semester means another term paper for Poppy to write. She actually writes her term papers relatively fast. At least faster than most of my sims do.
17. Poppy has now entered her second semester of her sophomore year.
18. After a quick nap, Poppy writes her next term paper.
19. Not much happened in her second semester of her sophomore year, so it wasn’t long before she completed her sophomore year and became a junior!
20. With the money she earned from selling paintings and from the Dean’s list each semester, Poppy has saved up enough money for a house.
21. And this is her new home. It’s a Maxis house, but heavily modified by me. And I know what you must be thinking, “Oh my goodness, a college sim that’s not in a 46 Forcaccia Place or clone house!,” and well, the simple reason to why she’s not in those houses is, I’ve played way to many sims in those houses and I decided I wanted a change!
22. Since she had almost maxed out her cooking skill at the dorm, the first thing I have her do when she moved into her new house was get the last two skill points she needed for her cooking skill in order to max it.
23. After she maxed out her cooking skill, I sent her upstairs to write her first term paper for her junior year.
24. Since it’s fall and she has the “Eureka!” lifetime benefit point, it doesn’t take long for Poppy to max out her mechanical skill.
25. Soon Poppy arrives home from her first junior final, and she makes the Dean’s list as usual.
29. Just think Poppy, after this you only have one more term paper to write. Isn’t it exciting?!
30. I meant to have Poppy pay her bills before having her start her term paper, but I forgot and thus the Repo Man came. Luckily, he only took a chair, which I immediately purchased again as soon as he pulled off the lot.
31. Poppy has been talking to Jess Centowski on the phone quite frequently lately, and soon their relationship is high enough for Poppy to invite him over.
32. The pair hit it off right away and after only one flirt, they had a mutual crush on each other.
33. And within only a hour of hanging out together, Poppy and Jess shared their first kiss together.
34. Unlike most couples, these guys like to cuddle upstairs on the floor rather than cuddling underneath the stars. I think this might be a glitch.
36. Since the dream date maxed out Poppy’s mood, I sent her to work out right away so that she could max out her body skill, and she actually did very quickly because of Eureka!
41. Since I forgot to have her do it earlier on, Poppy calls and applies for a Greek House charter so that her future children can move into this house rather than a dorm when they attend college.
42. Of course, Poppy needed a place holder for her Greek House too. She chose her friend Margaret to be her place holder.
43. Soon Margaret had spent enough time at the house to move in, and after she moved in she got a make over. She’s actually really pretty, I might even let her marry one of the boys later on in the legacy.
44. With all everything taken care of now, Poppy calls up a taxi to take her back to the home neighborhood so she can truly begin her legacy.
45. And off she goes to begin her new life, and her legacy! Turn to the next slide to see my scoring.
46. Score 11.5 +0.5 Founder +1 Family Friend (+0.5 each) +1 Dream Date +7 Maxed Skills (+1 each) +1 Impossible Want +1 Good Birthday +1 College Graduate -1 Repo Man = 11.5 Points
