This document discusses texture in fashion. It defines texture as the thickness and appearance of fabric that can be seen and felt. There are two types of texture - tactile texture that can be felt through touch, and visual texture that can be seen. Different textures, like shiny, fuzzy or smooth can increase or decrease the perceived size of the body. Texture is an important element in fashion that can alter the appearance of designs and convey different meanings or messages through fabrics. The document provides examples of textures that increase or decrease size and instructs students to analyze textures in outfits.
