This document discusses eTwinning, a platform that connects schools in Europe through collaborative projects. It provides an example of a low-cost eTwinning project between two schools and classes to learn about volcanoes and earthquakes. The project had students work in teams to complete tasks on a shared timetable. Smartphones were used to assess student learning. These types of small, low-cost collaborative projects are encouraged to help more teachers get involved in eTwinning and increase the number of projects.
