This document discusses eTwinning and low-cost collaborative projects. It describes an example low-cost project between two schools that focused on volcanoes and earthquakes. The project involved two classes, two teachers, and curricular integration over a short term. Students worked in teams on tasks and assessments. Smartphones were used to do classroom assessments. These types of low-cost projects can help engage more teachers and increase the number of eTwinning projects by making collaboration accessible.
