2. Photoshop
Before this project, I had an extremely limited understanding of how to use
Photoshop and I didn’t know a fraction of the extent you can go to with
Photoshop. I have used numerous tools to edit my images and to add certain
effects and colours to my magazine. In this presentation I will show the tools
that I have used and how I used them.

4. Layering, Opacity, Colours
I used layers in order to keep my magazine neat and tidy, and to
ensure that certain parts were towards the front of the magazine
and certain parts were in the background. I used opacity in order
to adjust how transparent or opaque certain parts of the magazine
were. I also used colours to change background and text colours.

5. Sidebars
I used the side bar in order to
easily access certain tools on
Photoshop and also to adjust
certain parts of the magazine.
I used this sidebar to edit my
images using layer masking,
duplicating layers and deleting
layers.

6. Photo Editing
I have used brightness, contrast,
levels and curves to edit my
images for my magazine so that
they can be enhanced and stand
out more.

7. Internet Packages
Before this project, I had a basic general knowledge of packages such as
Prezi, ISSUU, Flickr, Blogger etc. and so this project has helped me to obtain
a wider understanding of these technologies, how they work and the extent
of what can be achieved by using them. I have used Blogger to keep my
work filed and organised, I have used Flickr for my magazine analysis' and I
have used Prezi and ISSUU to present certain aspects of my work.
