2. Tracking shot
This is a camera technique that intrigues me and
I have tried my hand at it once or twice in my
own projects, but I find that it is very difficult to
get a steady shot, and because the shot is
designed that it needs to be one take with no
edits, it can take a long time to perfect. I have
seen the use of cranes or camera tracks to
solve this issue so maybe I will use them when
making my final project. We actually used a
tracking shot at the end of my AS production
and it took a very long time to make it look
good.

3. Fast paced editing
This kind of editing is prevalent in many action
films or in films where there is some kind of
confrontation or fight. It is quite difficult to get
the right effect without making it too disorienting
for the audience watching, you can also risk
making it too slow which can grind the action to
a halt and completely detach the audience.
Hitting the balance between two fast and too
slow is a challenge, but it is a challenge I would
like to attempt to overcome in my projects.

4. Making text or images move in post
A lot of the time, I would like to have some
picture-in-picture, other times I want to make
my images or text move around, and while I
have found a way to do this I need some
practice to make it look smooth and well done.
Another issue I come across is giving text an
animation or a movement command, for this
programs like After Effects can be used but I
find the options there a little daunting. For my
main project I will definitely look into making
more impressive titles.

5. POV Shot
Probably one of the more interesting shot types
that is also one of the hardest to pull off
correctly. I have used this to great effect in
some of my previous projects but they were all
static shots. I want to try my hand at moving
POV shots that offer a fully first person
perspective. A good example of what I mean is
from a film called “Hardcore Henry”, the entire
film was shot in first person with cuts to show
story breaks or blackouts.
