Imagery In Sports
Sport or exercise psychologists use imagery as a method to train athlete s skills such as visual
perception skill, attention and regulating emotions (Smeeton, Hibbert, Stevenson, Cumming Williams,
2014; Williams Cummings, 2012). There are researches suggested that when imagining the
movements or performing the actual movement, similar brain activities was showed and with this
finding, sport psychologists can use imagery to train athletes as essentially there is no difference
between imagery training and physical training according to previous studies (Homles Calmels, 2008,
Wriessnegger, Steyrl, Koschutnig Müller Putz 2014). Individuals can use using information sheet,
videos, equipment that required for specific sport to help an individual ... Show more content on

(2014) research showed that soccer allows participants to create a vivid mental image, however, there
is a study which raised the question that the difference between soccer and tennis is that when playing
tennis, people require a racket to hit the ball and for soccer, it does not require any equipment. Guillot
et al. (2012) carried out a research based on this question. They measured motor imagery ability and
used tennis as a sport for this study and added a condition where participants have a placebo racket
during their training session. The result suggested that participants who are in the placebo condition
not only have a better result compared to participants in the control condition, the accuracy of serving

Necessary Restrictions of Assault Weapons
Necessary Restrictions of Assault Weapons It seems that gunmen can walk freely in schools at present.
Too many murders with assault rifles and pistols happened in campus. The Americans laying down
under gunfire are not troopers patrolling in Middle East threating by terrorism, but children having
classes and playing with friends in campus. Every police officer and nurse cannot forget the tears left
on faces of who can never see the sun of tomorrow and even celebrate their 10 year birthdays.
Arguments about an old topic of limiting guns and weapons are now rising again; but this time,
parents turn to be main supporting force of such prohibition. Emphasizing the right of owning
weapons, which is protected by US Constitution, or at least, an amendment, some people are still the
resisting power against any forms of restriction of firearms. However, even ignoring the fact that
related laws are actually outdated, some actions seem to be necessary for protecting children away
from malice of weapon keepers. Therefore, the restrictions of assault weapons should be considered to
put onto the agenda due to the excessive power of assault weapons, the obsolete background check
system helping proliferation of firearms, and erroneous interpretation of constitution of private arms
by opponents. First of all, such laws were legislated for self defense purposes of US citizens, but high
power assault weapons tend to be excessive for this concept. When a supposed criminal approaches,

The Individuals with Disability Education Act Policy...
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which is a supersession of the Education of
All Handicapped Children Act of 1975 is a federal law which requires states and their school districts
to provide individuals with disabilities a free and appropriate education. IDEA governs how states and
public agencies provide early intervention, special education and related services to more than 6.5
million eligible infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. US Department Of Education
(n.d.)
The population that IDEA intends to effect is children between the ages of three and twenty one years
of age who have a specific disability that has an adverse effect on the student s performance. Children
who qualify under IDEA are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1970 the educational needs of children with disabilities were not being met. Access to education
and opportunities to learn were denied. In the United States, many states had schools that educated
only one in five children with disabilities and many states had laws that excluded certain children with
disabilities such as deaf, blind, emotionally disturbed or mentally retarded. US Department Of
Education
Education for All Handicapped Children Act of 1975 also known as Public Law 94 142 (P.L. 94 142)
required a free and appropriate education to be provided to all children, regardless of their disability.
This law also authorized financial incentives to enable states and localities to comply. In 1986, there
was an amendment to the Education for All Handicapped Children Act of 1975. This amendment
provided a more comprehensive program at the state level for early intervention for infants and
preschoolers. Encyclopedia of Educational Psychology
In 1990, Congress reauthorized P.L. 94 142 and renamed it the Individuals with Disabilities Education
Act Public Law 101 476 (P.L. 101 476), also known as IDEA. With this new revision, new services
were added. The word handicap was replaced with disability. It also mandated transition planning to
help students transition from high school to community participation,

Analysis Of The Movie Orion
Orion watched in amusement and sadness as he frolicked around in the merciless blue waves. He
looked like a child, she thought, almost innocent. He was far from it though. They both were. Come
on, O, he yelled back at her, I can t have nearly as much fun on my own. Orion smiled sadly. She was
comfortable sitting on the warm, dry, sand. But she was born to be anything but comfortable. She was
tired. Clover dove into the blanket of blue and swam towards Orion with a stupid grin on his face. She
was watching him, but her eyes were glazed over. You have to get over it someday. he said as he
claimed the sandy spot next to her. Orion just stared into the horizon, occasionally catching the
smooth movements of the sea. She shuddered ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She was shoved under high pressure showerheads too many times as strangers claimed her body

Clover felt his heart sink as he remembered the night he d seen her cry for the first time. It d been two
weeks after they d rescued her from the brothel. Orion didn t cry. Ever. But that night her tears were
assisted by an empty bottle of vodka and terrifying memories. He scoffed as he remembered the way
Orion s voice and body had shook more than a faultline as she told him everything they d done to her.
He d been furious at the world. He still was, but O s soft smiles helped bring him back and remember
that after all, she was safe, and she still smiled. That s what mattered. Orion looked up at Clover s
pensive face. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes distant as he was deep in thought. She knew he was
thinking about her. He always did. Sometimes even more than she thought about herself. She sighed
softly, remembering her father s last words to her. You were born without a home to call your own so
you built one out of hope and courage. They can t break you, O. She wasn t broken, she decided. She
wouldn t give them that. Help me get over it. she whispered in a barely audible voice. Clover heard
though. He planted a soft, tender kiss on the top of her head. They didn t speak as he helped her up

Christian Counseling And Caring For A Person s Soul
Christian Counseling in my eyes, is Christian based helping and caring for another person s soul (Soul
Care). Christian helpers are empowered by the Lord to be the eyes, ears, hands, and mouth of Jesus to
those in need. Journeying into another person s life and helping them with difficulties cannot be taken
lightly. Within John 13:14 15, Jesus says, Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet,
you also should wash one another s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done
for you. (NIV). Jesus also speaks in John 15:12 13, My command is this: Love each other as I have
loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one s life for one s friends (NIV). These
verses are telling people to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Counseling sessions should be glorifying to God as we are trying to grow closer to God and work
through our life obstacles. Christian Counseling should bring hope into a dark world as we apply our
beliefs to our lives and work through struggles. As Ephesians 4:3 states, Make every effort to keep the
unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (NIV). Biblical anthropology (the nature of man) is an
important aspect to consider while discussing the philosophy of Christian Counseling. As I said
before, Christian Counseling should be centered on Jesus, powered by the Gospel, and shaped by
scriptures. To know how to counsel from a Biblical perspective, we need to know the nature of man
according to the scriptures. To know the nature of man we have to think back to the creation of man,
man in the image of God, and man after the fall. On the sixth day, God created the creatures on land.
Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea
and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing
that creeps on the earth (Gen. 1:26, NIV). God created man in His own image and likeness. He blessed
His creation for it was good. Humanity was designed to be good. The origin of sin in human nature
came in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were placed into paradise in the Garden of Eden and at
this time of

Summary OfAll Summer In A Day By Ray Bradbury
In the story, All Summer in a Day, Ray Bradbury draws us in, as readers, with a story that takes place
on the planet Venus. The environment of Venus is as described in this quote, It had been raining for
seven years; thousands upon thousands of days compounded and filled from one end to the other with
rain, with the gush and gush of water...fall of showers and the concussion of storms so heavy they
were tidal waves come over the islands... (Bradbury, 1954) With an environment like this, what type
of people would those on Venus be if they had never felt, saw, or experienced the sun before? The only
one that has experienced and remembers the sun is a young girl, Margot. Margot lived on Earth until
she was four years old, unlike the others who have been living underground in Venus for their entire
lives. Because of this, Margot is constantly facing problems regarding her classmates jealousy of her
past opportunities. Without the sun, she has become, as Bradbury writes, ...a very frail girl who looked
as if she had been lost in the rain for years and the rain had washed out the blue from her eyes and the
red from her mouth and the yellow from her hair. She was an old photograph dusted from an album,
whitened away, and if she spoke at all her voice would be a ghost. (1954, Bradbury) In this short story
by Bradbury, the theme is that jealousy and ignorance can blind us from seeing things how they really
are. This is shown time after time when Margot is harassed, depressed, and isolated because of her
classmates jealousy. To begin, a way that Bradbury shows us that jealousy and ignorance can shield a
person from the truth is through the main character, Margot, who is constantly being harassed by her
classmates. The only reason Margot s classmates harass her is because she remembers the sun. This
makes her different from all the others, who have lived here on Venus since birth. In this way, they are
uneducated or ignorant because they have never experienced the sun. Because she is different, the
classmates take every chance they have to harass her in any way they can. Right before the sun came
out, one of the rare events that Margot was greatly looking forward to, the classmates ...surged about

Cyanide Reaction Lab Report
I. INTRODUCTION
Cyanide is a chemical compound containing cyano (─C≡N) groups, comprising carbon and nitrogen
radicals, and can be found in various organic and inorganic compounds. Some inorganic cyanide
compounds such as sodium cyanide (NaCN) and potassium cyanide (KCN) are groups of compounds
having negatively charged polyatomic cyanide ions (CN ). This compound is a salt of a highly toxic
hydrocyanic acid. Several types of organic cyanides are usually called nitriles, in which the CN group
is covalently bonded to a carbon group, such as methyl (CH3) dimethyl cyanide (acetonitrile). Since
nitrile compounds do not release free cyanide ions, they are generally less toxic, or in the case of
insoluble polymers such as acrylic fibers, essentially ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Complexes that react very quickly called labile, while the reaction that takes place slowly or not at all
called inert. One example of a complex compound having a large but inert value of the K1 constant is
[Fe(CN)3]4 dan [Pt(CN)4]2 (Raya, 2014).
Nickel in the nickel (II) state is more stable than nickel (0), nickel (I), nickel (III) and nickel (IV).
Nickel (I) and nickel (0) are unstable because they are easily oxidized, nickel (III) is easily reduced to
nickel (II) and nickel (IV) is rare. Nickel (II) forms a large number of complexes with coordination
numbers 6, 5, and 4, which have all major types of structures, namely octahedral, bipiramidal trigonal,
pyramidal squares, tetrahedral, and square (Cotton and Wilkinson, 2009). Most nickel complexes
adopt octahedron geometry structures, adopt only slightly the geometry of tetrahedron and square.
A nickel (II) complex with a strong ligand capable of performing better electron donations, tends to
prefer a square structure rather than an octahedral. The commonly known nickel (II) complex
compound is a tetracanonic acid (II) ([Ni(CN)4)]2 ) diamagnetic ion. The square structure can occur
because one d orbitals, one s orbital and two p orbitals undergo dsp2 hybridization. The square nickle
cyanide complex with a strong cyanide ligand will be more stable with the radii of Ni2+ (Å) ions

Psychological Issues In The Graduate
One of my favorite movies is The Graduate released in 1967 and based on the 1963 novel The
Graduate by Charles Webb. It is regarded as a classic and shows a lot of psychological issues of the
60s brought on by social norms. An older neglected housewife named Mrs. Robinson seduces a recent
21 year old graduate, Benjamin Braddock.. During the 40s until the 70s, because of mother s strong
involvement in their children s life, many children never learned to take care of themselves. Benjamin
is a clear consequence of that as he spends his summer lying in the pool all day. Mrs. Robinson is
herself a victim of her time. She admits to Benjamin that she is in a loveless, boring marriage and lost
her youth because she got pregnant with her daughter Elaine

Essay On Dual Federalism
Federalism is a division of power in a central government and their regional governments.
(Learners.org, Federalism US vs. The States). The first system of federalism is dual federalism. Dual
federalism is the state government has their own responsibilities and the national government has their
own responsibilities. Dual federalism was mainly based around the Tenth Amendment which states
that anything that isn t in the Constitution are reserved to the states. It is kind of like a tug of war, the
state governments are on one side and the federal government on the other. The rope is pulled back
and forth, and at one time one side sees to be winning, but then the rope gets pulled back to the other
side. In the dual federalism, each government ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the past, the Congress and the House have forced the state governments to meet in certain
enviromental standards. (Sparknotes Editors, Federalism, page 2)
In the early 1970s, the US knew that they needed a change in federalism so they called it new
federalism. New federalism gave the states some power while knowing that the federal government is
the highest power. At this time, the state government regained some power. Richard Nixon started to
support this type of federalism during his presidency, and every president since Nixon has continued
to support new federalism.(Sparknotes Editors,Federalism,page 1)
Examples of when the National Government has withheld funding to the States to making them
comply was in World War II when the people were relying on the federal money and when the
government was relying on the states to follow federal policies. ( Sparknotes Editors, Federalism, page

purpose with no excuses. (Sparknotes Editors, Federalism, page

Social Work Values
Social work is a vast field with complex and numerous factors that can create confusion on what
exactly the social work profession is. Many theories and values have been assigned to social work
based scientific development and studies, assumptions and inherent beliefs, which can only add to the
chaotic understanding of the profession. Although the National Association of Social Workers
(NASW) was only founded in 1955, (Platt and Cooreman 2001, pg. 113) social work has been utilized
for centuries, including Henry VIII of England who passed an act mandating, local parishes to take
care of their destitute and create a procedure for the collection and administration of donations to the
poor. (Platt and Cooreman 2001, pg. 92). Discussed in the following is a more concrete definition of
social work along with core values needed to be acquired to support the practice of social work
effectively. Social work can be defined as, promoting social justice and social change with and on
behalf of clients. (NASW, 2008, Preamble) Simply put, social workers are there to advocate and
promote a more tolerable world in which everyone in society is treated equally, with fairness and are
provided the same opportunities. In addition to this definition, some value assumptions have to be
clearly made in order to support the profession of social work. The values that best compliment the
above definition are most suitably described in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)

Beach Boys Caroline
For this week s listening journal, I listened to Caroline No by The Beach Boys. There are many
characteristics of this piece that stood out to me, such as the relationship between the lyrics and the
musical quality and the musical elements that set the tone of the music. At the exposition of Caroline
No there is an eerie drum and cymbal introduction that has a sort of call and response relationship.
The cymbals would play a short melody and the drum beat would follow, this exchange occurred a
couple of times. This exchange between the cymbals and the drums made the piece seem melancholic
and mysterious and sets the mood for the rest of the song. The quality of the voice was interesting
because it was unlike most songs of The Beach Boys I have heard of before. Throughout the song, The
Beach Boys have a slow and relaxing tempo that does not shift as the piece progresses. For the most
part, the tempo remains steady and slow. This steady tempo is accompanied by lyrics that relate to the
overall melancholic mood of the song. The song talks about a girl named Caroline that used to be a ...

In the first verse, at the end of each line there is rhyme. For example, where did your long hair go,
where is the girl that I used to know, how could you lose that happy glow, oh Caroline no. The words
go, know, glow and no all rhyme with each other. This is also present in the second verse between the
words away and say. Furthermore, the last word of each line is sung with melisma. For instance, the
word know is sung with several notes to one syllable. This musical element adds to the smooth and
earthy timbre of The Beach Boys. Also, there is falsetto and harmony throughout Caroline No. The
Beach Boys appear to sing above their normal range and this further contributes to the smooth and
melancholic musical quality. All the singers in The Beach Boys sing in harmony to a beat in

The Role Of Supervisor And The Supervisor
The role of the supervisor has never been simplified enough to be clear as to what the responsibilities
of the role is. In fact, supervision tends to be a challenging word in the education field and can be
accepted by various leaders of a school. Supervisors can simply be supervisors or they can be
administrators who are involved in the role of hiring and evaluating their staff. One could even go as
far as the master teacher who observes other educators that ensures they are utilizing proper skills and
techniques. Supervisors come from various angles, so it comes to no surprise that a supervisor is
expected to wear many hats. Over the course of years, the role of the supervisor has been redefined
many times. Various research, studies and articles address the importance of a supervisor and how the
importance is valued or defined. Modern supervision is expected to assist and assess the teachers and
mold them to become independent, successful educators. My personal experience, my administration
has taken that role and my supervisor reviews curriculum. Overall, a supervisor is there to provide the
support necessary for the teacher and the success of instruction in the class. In any scenario, the
supervisor is expected to direct and ensure that the teacher is continuously learning. They should also
be involved in a collaborative relationship with the educator so that communication is open and
growing. This should be where the supervisor validates the progress and identifies

Intelligence And Weapons Of Mass Destruction Programs
Introduction and Purpose Statement
Intelligence has proved to be essential to military actions since antiquity, particularly concerning
invasions from a nation s military. Invading Iraq due to the determination of the continued Weapon of
Mass Destruction programs in 2003 resulted, in part from intelligence received by human intelligence
sources. The specific cause that led to the initial determination to invade was the belief that Iraq
maintained a Weapon of Mass Destruction program at the same time also suggesting that Saddam had
links to Terror groups. Additionally, the Iraqi Weapon of Mass Destruction Programs during the 1998
inspection from the United Nations led to the assessment of the weapon systems in Iraqi.
Consequently, the Iraq war had resulted in thousands dead along including an unstable nation.
Inquiries post invasion revealed critical flaws within the intelligence collected. Much of the
information provided to the Central Intelligence Agency along with the National Security Council
from human intelligence proved to be incorrect. Furthermore, the incorrect information had
compounded the issue with a limited network of assets in Iraq to verify the intelligence received. One
of the most important intelligence failures of the 21st Century is seen in the invasion of Iraq. How can
the review of intelligence collections conducted on pre war Iraq Weapons of Mass Destruction
programs better determine the faults in intelligence received from human intelligence sources,

Ethical Predestination
If God does elect and reserves a spot for those who get to receive salvation or condemnation before
time, then there is no such thing as free will amongst human beings. There is no free will because God
already chose who gets what, so there is no point in worshipping a God that might condemn you. The
primary source of this essay is Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapters, 21 23 by Jean
Calvin. In this essay I am going to prove that predestination is not an ethically acceptable doctrine to
justify God s actions. If there is a God, he is usually identified as a powerful, all knowing, and never
wrong entity that watches over all of humanity. God created every living thing on Earth. So, God
supposedly loves and cares for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

does not need any of those materialistic goods. God already chose who gets salvation and

deeds for God to see and God will reward them with salvation. Just like how human always wants to
be rewarded for all the works they do. For example, a child does good deeds around the house in the
form of chores set out by their parents. After finishing said chores, a child is rewarded. The parents
can reward the child in the form of a praise, in the form of money, or in the form of a toy. All humans

The Significance Of Strategic Bombing Of Germany
In this essay I will assess the significance of strategic bombing of Germany. I will do this by
evaluating four key areas of the German war effort. This will include German and British moral,
German economy, its effect on the outcome of the Eastern Front and the results of the preparation for
D Day. Overall allied bombing did not have a significant impact on the outcome of the war as for the
majority of the war bombing techniques and technology were primitive and so had little effect. It only
became a threatening tool latter on in the war, when the allies had effectively won.
One potentially significant area of impact caused by strategic bombing was its effect on German
moral. This is because it was expected to terrify and shock the German ... Show more content on

This panic combined with the bombing of a single rocket research station was enough to make the
Luftwaffe chief of staff, Hans Jeschonnek, commit suicide. The devastating effect of these events was
amplified by the fear of an invasion of Germany, due to the Allied forces landing in Normandy and the
Russians approaching from the East. However, because of the unreliability of bomber commands
performance the Nazis managed to quickly control the situation. They ensured that no photographs or
news reports were published from the bomb stricken reports meaning that the rest of Germany could
only gather information from stories and tales. On top of this only a small part of Germany was
bombed as the allied forces simply did not have the technology to reach the majority of the Reich.
That it was relatively easy for the country to regroup, resulting in heavy retaliation and a continuous
growth in German production. However, in the last years of the war bombing technology drastically
improved and the attacks were relentless. As opposed to less than one quarter of bombs dropping
within five miles of the target, each bomb now hit their target and inflicted maximum damage due to
new aiming technology. Bombing raids were now performed twenty four hours a day, in the night by
Bomber Command and in the day by the heavily armoured bombers in the American 8th squadron.
1,500 bombers were now available after a huge increase in production speed, each with the

The Court found that Cuban had not misappropriated any material non public information because he
had not violated a legal duty to refrain from trading. Cuban had not promised that he would not trade
after learning about a PIPE offering. The judge also said that the SEC failed to show that Cuban
undertook a legal duty to not use the information he learned from those two phone calls with
Mamma.com representatives. Mark Cuban did not have any fiduciary duty to not act upon the
information. The Mamma.com CEO asked Cuban to keep their conversation confidential. However,
that didn t prove that Cuban had a legal duty to Mamma.com that would prohibit him from selling his
shares based on what he was told. He just promised to not disclose the information to the others, not
promised to not act upon what someone told him.
Besides, there was no evidence that he actually agreed that day to keep anything confidential. He
never agreed on the phone that he would

The Knight s Tale And The Tempest Analysis
Service in love often has a positive connotation which suggests a profound love, whereas possession
generally receives a negative connotation suggesting a superficial love. However, Geoffrey Chaucer
and William Shakespeare explore in depth the roles of both possession and service in love and reveal
to their readers which one is ultimately the superior way to gain love. The stories of The Knight s Tale
and The Tempest are different thematically, yet the thread which unites them both expresses similar
ideas regarding love, possession and service. Both William Shakespeare and Geoffrey Chaucer show
the reader love cannot be claimed; it is earned through service of the heart. By examining the
similarities in The Knight s Tale and The Tempest ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This can be seen through a comparison of parallel protagonists Palamon and Ferdinand, as well as
parallel antagonists Arcite and Caliban. Their many similarities reveal an insight to each author s view
of love and how it is gained. Palamon and Ferdinand are men of the heart who do not have the girl
initially, nor do they claim her. Instead, they wish the best for her and are willing to work for and serve
her, regardless of the outcome. In contrast, Arcite and Caliban are men of the physical who take the
woman they love by force and physically serve her in order to fulfill their prideful desires, completely
disregarding the wishes of their beloved. Strikingly, all four of these men are of noble birth, and all
four willingly lower themselves from a position of power to a position of service in order to gain a
woman s love; however, only the men who also serve her selflessly succeed in winning her love. Both
men of the heart end up getting the girl in the metaphorical sense, although it takes time and they must
be patient. In contrast, the men who have the girl initially Arcite and Caliban begin by taking her by
force and have her in the literal sense, but lose her in the end. All of these elements show that Chaucer
and Shakespeare believe the selfless and humble approach to be the most effective way to gain

Similarities Between To The Virgins And To His Coy Mistress
In both To the Virgins, To Make Much of Time and To His Coy Mistress the topic of seduction is
present. In Herrick s poem the speaker urges the maidens to be not coy...and while ye may, go marry
(13 14). The speaker suggests to the young maidens that being coy will postpone any prospects of
marrying young. The speaker encourages these young women to use their youth, beauty, and
femininity and seduce a possible suitor. He implies that being excessively flirtatious without the result
of marriage will leave unmarried and miserable. The speaker is not only instructing the virgins to
seduce but seduce with marriage in mind. Unlike Herrick s seduction with the intent of marriage,
Marvell s speaker seduces his lover without the thought of marriage. ... Show more content on

Time. In both of these poems, there is an emphasis on time or the lack of time. In Herrick s work, the
speaker uses symbolism to describe time. He says, And this same flower that smiles today/ Tomorrow
will be dying (Herrick 809). The flower represents girls who are young and beautiful. The speaker
personifies the flower to illustrate how young girls are smiling brightly and happy in their prime. The
dying of the flower is the death of youth and the beginning of aging. Once aged it is harder for women
to find potential suitors for marriage; this is a warning from the speaker to the young maidens. While
Herrick s speaker uses time as a notice for inevitable aging Marvell s speaker uses the lack of time as
the reason to consummate their love. To the speaker of Marvell s work time is both precious and
viewed as an enemy. The speaker states, Had we but world enough, and time/ this coyness, lady, were
no crime (Marvell 826). The speaker tells the women he loves that if he had an indefinite amount of
time and space he can accept her reluctance to sleep with him. Her coyness is seen as a crime because
it is wasting time he does not have; the time he would rather spend with her in bed. To the man
flirtation has gone on longer than he would have liked and he is starting to view her as a criminal. A
criminal who arouses him and denies him his pleasures. However, he makes her seem less like a
criminal by assuring that if it had not been for the issue of time he would happily partake in endless
flirtations. Because of the lack of time, an action must happen

Singapore s Ultra Modern Airport
I have always loved aircrafts and long haul flights. We boarded award winning Singapore Airlines in
LAX with about 30 hours of travel time ahead of us. With 8 magazines, 6 movies, 4 meals and a
sleeping pill, the time went quickly and I arrived relaxed and ready to explore. American airports are
not very people friendly. Singapore s ultra modern airport invites you to linger with free internet
terminals, a cinema, rooftop swimming pool, aromatherapy spas, oxygen bars, indoor nature garden
with waterfalls and koi pond. I m part of a group of 28 singles. This was a smaller group than
expected, but I understand several people dropped out claiming fear of bird flu. I could sense I was
part of a quality entourage of seasoned culture vultures. We began with an orientation tour at the top
of Mt. Farber and its spectacular views. The group was impressed by this sparkling metropolis located
between Malaysia and Indonesia. Singapore is the leader of S.E. Asia, a bustling port that was
modernized by the East India Trading Company and the British Empire. It s called the Lion City and
inhabited by 4 million souls. 76% are Chinese and the other minorities all blend harmoniously.
Singapore is a city, state, capital and country all in one and draws 8 million visitors per year, yet few
Americans have yet discovered it. We checked into the opulent Regent Hotel of The Four Seasons. I m

St Francis has dedicated his life to God and has led an intimate life to carry out the teachings of Jesus
Christ. St Francis was born in 1181 or in the latter year to Pietro di Bernardone Pica de Bourlemont,
he was born under the title Giovanni after John the Baptist but after his father returned from France he

The Athletic Advantage in a College Education
Attending college is not only a chance for students to further their education, but it also allows them to
experience the lessons life has to offer. One of the hardest lessons to learn is how unfair life can be.
Students who work diligently to achieve academic success in the classroom may quickly realize their
academic efforts do not pay off as much as the student athlete who possesses the ability to kick a
football fifty yards. There is an evident failure in the educational system when the student athlete s
performance and how they contribute to a winning season, is more valuable to the university, than the
academic student who strives to graduate with honors. Students who focus their efforts on an
academic based education are not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In contrast, they suggest the burden lies on the faculty. In order to fulfill the student athlete s special
needs, they must extend deadlines, create make up work, and conform to the infamous special
privilege stigma surrounding athletes today (Jensen et al.). Many researchers believe million dollar
coaching salaries and the commercialization of college athletics are destroying undergraduate
education (Finn). The Knight Commission is a research group who unveiled that many universities
spend over $100,000 annually, per athlete, to provide support services and special arrangements for
them (Finn). This does not include what is already being spent on housing, food, and tuition (Finn).
Those who oppose this frivolous spending, see it far more important to invest in the education of our
students, rather than investing in a win for the athletic department. Some people will continue to
profess that our society needs to be geared towards entertainment. However, the primary purpose of
attending college should be to obtain an education, and that is being lost along the way. We need to
take a moment to reflect on the decisions we make as a society. When the locker room is nicer than the
entire medical department, or the head football coach is paid more than the governor of the state, it
should be evident and clear that a major problem exists in the university s policies and priorities.
Having said this, it is illogical to think that athletics should be

The Effect of Pilocarpine and Tropicamide on Human
1. The Effect of Pilocarpine and Tropicamide on Human s Pupil

the effect of 1% tropicamide and 2% pilocarpine on the human s pupil and how the drugs will affect
the pupil diameter, near point of accommodation and the pupillary light reflexes.

confirm that drug A is a muscarinic antagonist and is parasympatholytic as it caused mydriasis

Essay On Illegal Immigration
There are millions of immigrants in the United States that are here illegally. Many immigrants are here
to both find a job and get an education, while others are here just to be here. Illegal immigrants should
not be able to cross the border whether they were granted citizenship or not. Undocumented
immigrants should not be rewarded with citizenship for breaking the immigration laws such as
crossing the border without a green card, and having false documentation to drive or work. There is a
proposed immigration reform and amnesty if passed that would secure our borders, improve our
immigration system, remove incentives that entered the country illegally, bring undocumented
immigrants out the shadows, and also work with Mexico to decrease illegal immigration. ... Show

One of the main points of the debate focus on the visa application process and how to address all of
the undocumented immigrants that is already in the United States. Many of the U.S citizens argue that
illegal immigrants take the good jobs, while others argue that they take the jobs most citizens are
unwillingly to take. Although some citizens think that the United States immigration system is in need
of a reform, others are satisfied with the level of immigration in the U.S. Even though the U.S has
granted amnesty to a lot of undocumented immigrants through different laws, the U.S should make
illegal immigrants pay for breaking the laws and having phony documents. As stated by President
Barack Obama, ...they are going to have to go to the back of the line...but they will have a pathway to
citizenship over the course of 10 years. According to his statement, illegal immigrants with false
documents will be deported back to their country; however they will be able to apply for citizenship in
10 years. Some immigrants sneak into the United States with relatives or friends who have their green

Flexibility Of The Constitution
The Constitution has lasted over 220 years due to the flexibility this document possesses as well as its
use of separating power. The Constitution demonstrates its flexibility through the ability to add
amendments as well as pass laws. Although passing laws is quicker than passing an amendment,
amendments have a greater sticking power in the long run. For instance, the 13th amendment which
abolished slavery throughout the United States was created and passed after the Constitution was
created, and was therefore added to the constitution. Therefore, policies in the Constitution are able to
be refined when new values emerge. Additionally, the Constitution has lasted a great amount of time
due to how it divides up power. The Constitution created

Observation Of A Piglet Experiment
On the 10th of September 2017, ten little piglets that had died at birth were brought and staged outside
of Heartland Career Center in Wabash, Indiana. Over the past three weeks we have observed and
studied the dead piglets lying in the grass, cement and suspended from a pole. Before we started the
experiment, we had to answer some questions on how which piglet will decompose faster during the
experiment. There was a lot discovered about the dead piglets and it was very interesting. Throughout
this project, we had to answer questions on what we think will happen to the piglets and make a
hypothesis on what will happen through the three weeks that we did it. Most of the questions that I
had were correct with my hypothesis. One of the questions that we had to answer was, does a piglet
suspended in the air decompose at a different rate than the one left on the ground or the cement? This
was a difficult question but not too hard because the piglets that were suspended took a long time to
decompose to just bones. Differed from the piglets in the air it took the piglets on the ground at least a
week to decompose because of the heat that we had over a weekend time period that had no
observations because we weren t at school. Over all, the piglets that were suspended in the air on a
pole and the piglets on the ground each piglet had a different reaction to everyday. Which decomposes
faster, a piglet that is in its natural state, one that is burnt, one that is buried? This was a

  • 2. Imagery In Sports Sport or exercise psychologists use imagery as a method to train athlete s skills such as visual perception skill, attention and regulating emotions (Smeeton, Hibbert, Stevenson, Cumming Williams, 2014; Williams Cummings, 2012). There are researches suggested that when imagining the movements or performing the actual movement, similar brain activities was showed and with this finding, sport psychologists can use imagery to train athletes as essentially there is no difference between imagery training and physical training according to previous studies (Homles Calmels, 2008, Wriessnegger, Steyrl, Koschutnig Müller Putz 2014). Individuals can use using information sheet, videos, equipment that required for specific sport to help an individual ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (2014) research showed that soccer allows participants to create a vivid mental image, however, there is a study which raised the question that the difference between soccer and tennis is that when playing tennis, people require a racket to hit the ball and for soccer, it does not require any equipment. Guillot et al. (2012) carried out a research based on this question. They measured motor imagery ability and used tennis as a sport for this study and added a condition where participants have a placebo racket during their training session. The result suggested that participants who are in the placebo condition not only have a better result compared to participants in the control condition, the accuracy of serving was also increased after the ... • 3. Necessary Restrictions of Assault Weapons Necessary Restrictions of Assault Weapons It seems that gunmen can walk freely in schools at present. Too many murders with assault rifles and pistols happened in campus. The Americans laying down under gunfire are not troopers patrolling in Middle East threating by terrorism, but children having classes and playing with friends in campus. Every police officer and nurse cannot forget the tears left on faces of who can never see the sun of tomorrow and even celebrate their 10 year birthdays. Arguments about an old topic of limiting guns and weapons are now rising again; but this time, parents turn to be main supporting force of such prohibition. Emphasizing the right of owning weapons, which is protected by US Constitution, or at least, an amendment, some people are still the resisting power against any forms of restriction of firearms. However, even ignoring the fact that related laws are actually outdated, some actions seem to be necessary for protecting children away from malice of weapon keepers. Therefore, the restrictions of assault weapons should be considered to put onto the agenda due to the excessive power of assault weapons, the obsolete background check system helping proliferation of firearms, and erroneous interpretation of constitution of private arms by opponents. First of all, such laws were legislated for self defense purposes of US citizens, but high power assault weapons tend to be excessive for this concept. When a supposed criminal approaches, small ... • 4. The Individuals with Disability Education Act Policy... The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which is a supersession of the Education of All Handicapped Children Act of 1975 is a federal law which requires states and their school districts to provide individuals with disabilities a free and appropriate education. IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education and related services to more than 6.5 million eligible infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. US Department Of Education (n.d.) The population that IDEA intends to effect is children between the ages of three and twenty one years of age who have a specific disability that has an adverse effect on the student s performance. Children who qualify under IDEA are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In 1970 the educational needs of children with disabilities were not being met. Access to education and opportunities to learn were denied. In the United States, many states had schools that educated only one in five children with disabilities and many states had laws that excluded certain children with disabilities such as deaf, blind, emotionally disturbed or mentally retarded. US Department Of Education Education for All Handicapped Children Act of 1975 also known as Public Law 94 142 (P.L. 94 142) required a free and appropriate education to be provided to all children, regardless of their disability. This law also authorized financial incentives to enable states and localities to comply. In 1986, there was an amendment to the Education for All Handicapped Children Act of 1975. This amendment provided a more comprehensive program at the state level for early intervention for infants and preschoolers. Encyclopedia of Educational Psychology In 1990, Congress reauthorized P.L. 94 142 and renamed it the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Public Law 101 476 (P.L. 101 476), also known as IDEA. With this new revision, new services were added. The word handicap was replaced with disability. It also mandated transition planning to help students transition from high school to community participation, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Analysis Of The Movie Orion Orion watched in amusement and sadness as he frolicked around in the merciless blue waves. He looked like a child, she thought, almost innocent. He was far from it though. They both were. Come on, O, he yelled back at her, I can t have nearly as much fun on my own. Orion smiled sadly. She was comfortable sitting on the warm, dry, sand. But she was born to be anything but comfortable. She was tired. Clover dove into the blanket of blue and swam towards Orion with a stupid grin on his face. She was watching him, but her eyes were glazed over. You have to get over it someday. he said as he claimed the sandy spot next to her. Orion just stared into the horizon, occasionally catching the smooth movements of the sea. She shuddered ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She was shoved under high pressure showerheads too many times as strangers claimed her body violently to ever enjoy innocent trips to the beach or much needed showers after long days again. Clover felt his heart sink as he remembered the night he d seen her cry for the first time. It d been two weeks after they d rescued her from the brothel. Orion didn t cry. Ever. But that night her tears were assisted by an empty bottle of vodka and terrifying memories. He scoffed as he remembered the way Orion s voice and body had shook more than a faultline as she told him everything they d done to her. He d been furious at the world. He still was, but O s soft smiles helped bring him back and remember that after all, she was safe, and she still smiled. That s what mattered. Orion looked up at Clover s pensive face. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes distant as he was deep in thought. She knew he was thinking about her. He always did. Sometimes even more than she thought about herself. She sighed softly, remembering her father s last words to her. You were born without a home to call your own so you built one out of hope and courage. They can t break you, O. She wasn t broken, she decided. She wouldn t give them that. Help me get over it. she whispered in a barely audible voice. Clover heard though. He planted a soft, tender kiss on the top of her head. • 6. Christian Counseling And Caring For A Person s Soul Christian Counseling in my eyes, is Christian based helping and caring for another person s soul (Soul Care). Christian helpers are empowered by the Lord to be the eyes, ears, hands, and mouth of Jesus to those in need. Journeying into another person s life and helping them with difficulties cannot be taken lightly. Within John 13:14 15, Jesus says, Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. (NIV). Jesus also speaks in John 15:12 13, My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one s life for one s friends (NIV). These verses are telling people to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Counseling sessions should be glorifying to God as we are trying to grow closer to God and work through our life obstacles. Christian Counseling should bring hope into a dark world as we apply our beliefs to our lives and work through struggles. As Ephesians 4:3 states, Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (NIV). Biblical anthropology (the nature of man) is an important aspect to consider while discussing the philosophy of Christian Counseling. As I said before, Christian Counseling should be centered on Jesus, powered by the Gospel, and shaped by scriptures. To know how to counsel from a Biblical perspective, we need to know the nature of man according to the scriptures. To know the nature of man we have to think back to the creation of man, man in the image of God, and man after the fall. On the sixth day, God created the creatures on land. Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth (Gen. 1:26, NIV). God created man in His own image and likeness. He blessed His creation for it was good. Humanity was designed to be good. The origin of sin in human nature came in the Garden of Eden. • 7. Summary OfAll Summer In A Day By Ray Bradbury In the story, All Summer in a Day, Ray Bradbury draws us in, as readers, with a story that takes place on the planet Venus. The environment of Venus is as described in this quote, It had been raining for seven years; thousands upon thousands of days compounded and filled from one end to the other with rain, with the gush and gush of water...fall of showers and the concussion of storms so heavy they were tidal waves come over the islands... (Bradbury, 1954) With an environment like this, what type of people would those on Venus be if they had never felt, saw, or experienced the sun before? The only one that has experienced and remembers the sun is a young girl, Margot. Margot lived on Earth until she was four years old, unlike the others who have been living underground in Venus for their entire lives. Because of this, Margot is constantly facing problems regarding her classmates jealousy of her past opportunities. Without the sun, she has become, as Bradbury writes, ...a very frail girl who looked as if she had been lost in the rain for years and the rain had washed out the blue from her eyes and the red from her mouth and the yellow from her hair. She was an old photograph dusted from an album, whitened away, and if she spoke at all her voice would be a ghost. (1954, Bradbury) In this short story by Bradbury, the theme is that jealousy and ignorance can blind us from seeing things how they really are. This is shown time after time when Margot is harassed, depressed, and isolated because of her classmates jealousy. To begin, a way that Bradbury shows us that jealousy and ignorance can shield a person from the truth is through the main character, Margot, who is constantly being harassed by her classmates. The only reason Margot s classmates harass her is because she remembers the sun. This makes her different from all the others, who have lived here on Venus since birth. In this way, they are uneducated or ignorant because they have never experienced the sun. Because she is different, the classmates take every chance they have to harass her in any way they can. Right before the sun came out, one of the rare events that Margot was greatly looking forward to, the classmates ...surged about her, caught her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Cyanide Reaction Lab Report I. INTRODUCTION Cyanide is a chemical compound containing cyano (─C≡N) groups, comprising carbon and nitrogen radicals, and can be found in various organic and inorganic compounds. Some inorganic cyanide compounds such as sodium cyanide (NaCN) and potassium cyanide (KCN) are groups of compounds having negatively charged polyatomic cyanide ions (CN ). This compound is a salt of a highly toxic hydrocyanic acid. Several types of organic cyanides are usually called nitriles, in which the CN group is covalently bonded to a carbon group, such as methyl (CH3) dimethyl cyanide (acetonitrile). Since nitrile compounds do not release free cyanide ions, they are generally less toxic, or in the case of insoluble polymers such as acrylic fibers, essentially ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Complexes that react very quickly called labile, while the reaction that takes place slowly or not at all called inert. One example of a complex compound having a large but inert value of the K1 constant is [Fe(CN)3]4 dan [Pt(CN)4]2 (Raya, 2014). Nickel in the nickel (II) state is more stable than nickel (0), nickel (I), nickel (III) and nickel (IV). Nickel (I) and nickel (0) are unstable because they are easily oxidized, nickel (III) is easily reduced to nickel (II) and nickel (IV) is rare. Nickel (II) forms a large number of complexes with coordination numbers 6, 5, and 4, which have all major types of structures, namely octahedral, bipiramidal trigonal, pyramidal squares, tetrahedral, and square (Cotton and Wilkinson, 2009). Most nickel complexes adopt octahedron geometry structures, adopt only slightly the geometry of tetrahedron and square. A nickel (II) complex with a strong ligand capable of performing better electron donations, tends to prefer a square structure rather than an octahedral. The commonly known nickel (II) complex compound is a tetracanonic acid (II) ([Ni(CN)4)]2 ) diamagnetic ion. It is regarded as a classic and shows a lot of psychological issues of the 60s brought on by social norms. An older neglected housewife named Mrs. Robinson seduces a recent 21 year old graduate, Benjamin Braddock.. During the 40s until the 70s, because of mother s strong involvement in their children s life, many children never learned to take care of themselves. Benjamin is a clear consequence of that as he spends his summer lying in the pool all day. Mrs. Robinson is herself a victim of her time. The first system of federalism is dual federalism. Dual federalism is the state government has their own responsibilities and the national government has their own responsibilities. Dual federalism was mainly based around the Tenth Amendment which states that anything that isn t in the Constitution are reserved to the states. It is kind of like a tug of war, the state governments are on one side and the federal government on the other. The rope is pulled back and forth, and at one time one side sees to be winning, but then the rope gets pulled back to the other side. In the dual federalism, each government ... • 12. Social Work Values Social work is a vast field with complex and numerous factors that can create confusion on what exactly the social work profession is. Many theories and values have been assigned to social work based scientific development and studies, assumptions and inherent beliefs, which can only add to the chaotic understanding of the profession. Although the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) was only founded in 1955, (Platt and Cooreman 2001, pg. 113) social work has been utilized for centuries, including Henry VIII of England who passed an act mandating, local parishes to take care of their destitute and create a procedure for the collection and administration of donations to the poor. (Platt and Cooreman 2001, pg. 92). Discussed in the following is a more concrete definition of social work along with core values needed to be acquired to support the practice of social work effectively. Social work can be defined as, promoting social justice and social change with and on behalf of clients. (NASW, 2008, Preamble) Simply put, social workers are there to advocate and promote a more tolerable world in which everyone in society is treated equally, with fairness and are provided the same opportunities. In addition to this definition, some value assumptions have to be clearly made in order to support the profession of social work. The values that best compliment the above definition are most suitably described in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) code of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 13. Beach Boys Caroline For this week s listening journal, I listened to Caroline No by The Beach Boys. There are many characteristics of this piece that stood out to me, such as the relationship between the lyrics and the musical quality and the musical elements that set the tone of the music. At the exposition of Caroline No there is an eerie drum and cymbal introduction that has a sort of call and response relationship. The cymbals would play a short melody and the drum beat would follow, this exchange occurred a couple of times. This exchange between the cymbals and the drums made the piece seem melancholic and mysterious and sets the mood for the rest of the song. The quality of the voice was interesting because it was unlike most songs of The Beach Boys I have heard of before. Throughout the song, The Beach Boys have a slow and relaxing tempo that does not shift as the piece progresses. For the most part, the tempo remains steady and slow. This steady tempo is accompanied by lyrics that relate to the overall melancholic mood of the song. The song talks about a girl named Caroline that used to be a ... This is also present in the second verse between the words away and say. Furthermore, the last word of each line is sung with melisma. For instance, the word know is sung with several notes to one syllable. This musical element adds to the smooth and earthy timbre of The Beach Boys. • 14. The Role Of Supervisor And The Supervisor The role of the supervisor has never been simplified enough to be clear as to what the responsibilities of the role is. In fact, supervision tends to be a challenging word in the education field and can be accepted by various leaders of a school. Supervisors can simply be supervisors or they can be administrators who are involved in the role of hiring and evaluating their staff. One could even go as far as the master teacher who observes other educators that ensures they are utilizing proper skills and techniques. Supervisors come from various angles, so it comes to no surprise that a supervisor is expected to wear many hats. Over the course of years, the role of the supervisor has been redefined many times. Various research, studies and articles address the importance of a supervisor and how the importance is valued or defined. Modern supervision is expected to assist and assess the teachers and mold them to become independent, successful educators. My personal experience, my administration has taken that role and my supervisor reviews curriculum. Overall, a supervisor is there to provide the support necessary for the teacher and the success of instruction in the class. In any scenario, the supervisor is expected to direct and ensure that the teacher is continuously learning. They should also be involved in a collaborative relationship with the educator so that communication is open and growing. This should be where the supervisor validates the progress and identifies ... Intelligence And Weapons Of Mass Destruction Programs Introduction and Purpose Statement Intelligence has proved to be essential to military actions since antiquity, particularly concerning invasions from a nation s military. Invading Iraq due to the determination of the continued Weapon of Mass Destruction programs in 2003 resulted, in part from intelligence received by human intelligence sources. The specific cause that led to the initial determination to invade was the belief that Iraq maintained a Weapon of Mass Destruction program at the same time also suggesting that Saddam had links to Terror groups. Additionally, the Iraqi Weapon of Mass Destruction Programs during the 1998 inspection from the United Nations led to the assessment of the weapon systems in Iraqi. Consequently, the Iraq war had resulted in thousands dead along including an unstable nation. Inquiries post invasion revealed critical flaws within the intelligence collected. Much of the information provided to the Central Intelligence Agency along with the National Security Council from human intelligence proved to be incorrect. Furthermore, the incorrect information had compounded the issue with a limited network of assets in Iraq to verify the intelligence received. One of the most important intelligence failures of the 21st Century is seen in the invasion of Iraq. I will do this by evaluating four key areas of the German war effort. This will include German and British moral, German economy, its effect on the outcome of the Eastern Front and the results of the preparation for D Day. Overall allied bombing did not have a significant impact on the outcome of the war as for the majority of the war bombing techniques and technology were primitive and so had little effect. However, because of the unreliability of bomber commands performance the Nazis managed to quickly control the situation. They ensured that no photographs or news reports were published from the bomb stricken reports meaning that the rest of Germany could only gather information from stories and tales. On top of this only a small part of Germany was bombed as the allied forces simply did not have the technology to reach the majority of the Reich. In this case, Cuban actually traded his shares based on the material inside information he was told and saved him $750,000 in losses. Wrongful misappropriation means violation of a fiduciary duty. The stories of The Knight s Tale and The Tempest are different thematically, yet the thread which unites them both expresses similar ideas regarding love, possession and service. Instead, they wish the best for her and are willing to work for and serve her, regardless of the outcome. In contrast, Arcite and Caliban are men of the physical who take the woman they love by force and physically serve her in order to fulfill their prideful desires, completely disregarding the wishes of their beloved. Strikingly, all four of these men are of noble birth, and all four willingly lower themselves from a position of power to a position of service in order to gain a woman s love; however, only the men who also serve her selflessly succeed in winning her love. Both men of the heart end up getting the girl in the metaphorical sense, although it takes time and they must be patient. In Herrick s poem the speaker urges the maidens to be not coy...and while ye may, go marry (13 14). The speaker suggests to the young maidens that being coy will postpone any prospects of marrying young. The speaker encourages these young women to use their youth, beauty, and femininity and seduce a possible suitor. He implies that being excessively flirtatious without the result of marriage will leave unmarried and miserable. In both of these poems, there is an emphasis on time or the lack of time. In Herrick s work, the speaker uses symbolism to describe time. The speaker personifies the flower to illustrate how young girls are smiling brightly and happy in their prime. The dying of the flower is the death of youth and the beginning of aging. Once aged it is harder for women to find potential suitors for marriage; this is a warning from the speaker to the young maidens. While Herrick s speaker uses time as a notice for inevitable aging Marvell s speaker uses the lack of time as the reason to consummate their love. To the speaker of Marvell s work time is both precious and viewed as an enemy. The speaker states, Had we but world enough, and time/ this coyness, lady, were no crime (Marvell 826). The speaker tells the women he loves that if he had an indefinite amount of time and space he can accept her reluctance to sleep with him. Her coyness is seen as a crime because it is wasting time he does not have; the time he would rather spend with her in bed. To the man flirtation has gone on longer than he would have liked and he is starting to view her as a criminal. A criminal who arouses him and denies him his pleasures. • 36. Observation Of A Piglet Experiment On the 10th of September 2017, ten little piglets that had died at birth were brought and staged outside of Heartland Career Center in Wabash, Indiana. Over the past three weeks we have observed and studied the dead piglets lying in the grass, cement and suspended from a pole. Before we started the experiment, we had to answer some questions on how which piglet will decompose faster during the experiment. There was a lot discovered about the dead piglets and it was very interesting. Throughout this project, we had to answer questions on what we think will happen to the piglets and make a hypothesis on what will happen through the three weeks that we did it. Most of the questions that I had were correct with my hypothesis. One of the questions that we had to answer was, does a piglet suspended in the air decompose at a different rate than the one left on the ground or the cement? This was a difficult question but not too hard because the piglets that were suspended took a long time to decompose to just bones. Differed from the piglets in the air it took the piglets on the ground at least a week to decompose because of the heat that we had over a weekend time period that had no observations because we weren t at school. Over all, the piglets that were suspended in the air on a pole and the piglets on the ground each piglet had a different reaction to everyday. Which decomposes faster, a piglet that is in its natural state, one that is burnt, one that is buried? This was a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
