Route Vibe Guider is a smartphone app that provides navigation assistance through vibrating pulses to help users with disabilities or those in situations where checking a phone is inconvenient. The app allows navigation without screen taps by recognizing gestures and will collect user feedback on road conditions to share with others. It also enables requesting a taxi via gesture. The concept was tested and potential users were interviewed to refine the app's focus on helping people navigate autonomously outdoors through vibration cues.

2.  People visiting new places need maps to
navigate and get to destination
 Sometimes those places are not suited to take
out the smart phone to check if we are in the
right path
 People with disabilities normally cannot
follow maps in a practical way and the voice
of GPS devices could distract them from their
environment.

3.  Smartphone App that can allow navigation
feedback by vibrating pulses.
 To avoid screen tap controls (on specific
areas) the application will be able to
recognize screen gestures.
 The App will give the users the oportunity to
capture feedback regarding road conditions
so other users can benefit from it.
 Also it will have the possibility to request a
Taxi via a gesture.
