Haiku uses the UPA or “Understand, Practice, Apply” Concept which means a child first Understands the grammar concepts through animated, interactive digital content -“G roots” which is used by the trainer, then he/she Practices the same using the “Flip books” and also Applies that knowledge through activities and role plays in everyday, practical situations.
Learning gaps when identified at the earliest can be reparable in nature. If left unattended at this stage, over time they bloom into such intensity that they may be repaired only after intense remedial intervention.

How Educators Can Meet the Challenge of Differentiated InstructionDr. Anthony Hamlet
Differentiated instruction – i.e., tailoring the curriculum according to students’ interests, readiness and learning profiles – offers a considerable challenge to educators. That’s not only because of the time commitment required and the many strategies that may be implemented to satisfy a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Gifted Individualized Education Program (GIEP), but also to meet each student’s specific needs, above and beyond that.
In a perfect world, every lesson in every classroom in the U.S. would be differentiated, in order to meet each students’ needs. That’s because students learn in different ways. Some are auditory learners. Some are visual learners. Some are tactile learners. The best educators recognize the differences, and teach accordingly. In March of 2009, a group of 18 EFL Educators from around the globe participated in a unique program sponsored by the US Department of State and organized by The Center for Language Education and Development - CLED- of Georgetown University. This pp presentation summarizes the educational visits that were made and has links to all the schools that were visited, as well as links to videos depicting the visits.
How a teacher presents information and motivates students to talk in English can seriously decide the efficiency of an English class; therefore, teachers need to explore sufficient approaches to stimulate students to talk. Coaching students to be involved in the process of communication can greatly satisfy individualized English learning. The author here will analyze teaching speaking based on multimodality and put forward some suggestions for English learners and teachers.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

1. To the future me:
Today in class we focused on learning styles as it applies to language acquisition.
We focused on multiple intelligences, age of the learners and learning styles,
among other things. Now it is time to evaluate my students.
First , I will use the lesson plans they had previously created: they will have to
adapt that lesson plan to a certain age group; second, they will have to include at
least three activities for different intelligences in that lesson plan and finally they
should watch videos of students doing oral performance and will have to classify
them according to the common European Framework.
We came to a conclusion, as Harmer did, that while this is important, all of our
classes will have a mix of learning styles and integrate activities that will respond
to various multiple intelligences; even though each student is important, it is the
group that we are teaching.
In the end, we want to give our TEFL students the confidence to exercise their own
autonomy when they plan their classes around this, based on the knowledge we are
imparting on them and their experiences in teaching EFL students. We feel up to
the task in giving our students this valuable knowledge.
Sincerely, Team #3
