Jenna wants to be a teacher and discusses her reasons why. She had a favorite high school teacher who made class fun and interesting, sparking her interest in teaching. She enjoyed helping out in elementary school as a teaching aid and wants to run her own fun and engaging classroom. Specifically, Jenna hopes to teach elementary grades between first and fourth.

2. Favorite teacher
• My favorite teacher was my high school sociology and psychology teacher.
She always made the class fun and interesting and it was one of the only
classes I looked forward to actually attending.

3. Why I want to be a teacher
• Growing up, I never thought about being a teacher, then I decided to take
a teaching aid credit in high school and helped out in the elementary. I
loved it so much and I want to be able to run my own classroom with my
own ideas. I want to make learning fun for kids.

4. What kind of teacher do I want to be?
• I want to teach in the elementary, specifically first grade but I’ll do
anything between first and fourth is fine.
