Kelsey Hillard is a second year teacher currently teaching second grade in Leesburg, GA. She graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2010 and is finishing her Master's degree from Georgia Southern University. She loves being in the classroom and interacting with students. Her long term goal is to become an EIP teacher at her current school. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching reality TV, spending time with friends, and cooking.

2. ABOUT ME
My name is Kelsey Hillard and I
am currently in my second year
of teaching. I live in Albany, GA
and teach in Leesburg, GA. I
graduated from Georgia College
and State University in 2010 and
began my graduate work the
summer after my first year of
teaching through Georgia
Southern University.

EXPERIENCE
Last year I taught Kindergarten
and this year I am teaching
Second Grade, a welcomed
change! I am in my last semester
of my Master’s program and I
am so excited to be near the end!

4. PROFESSIONAL GOALS
I love being in the classroom and
interacting with the children at
my school. I would love to
continue working as a classroom
teacher for the majority of my
career. Eventually I think I
would like to become one of the
EIP teachers at my school.
