PDHPE
‘Give the Game Back to the Kids!’
2. Why teach PDHPE…
Childhood obesity rising
Builds self confidence
Teaches problem solving skills
Gives children a chance to learn how to make
decisions
Increases communication skills
Gives children a chance to have FUN while
LEARNING!
3. My Rationale
This course has shown me that the PE side of
PDHPE can be lots of fun and that’s what my main
goal will be. I hope I can teach my students PDHPE
skills without them even realising they are learning
because they are having so much fun!
