She was surprised and felt like part of the class when she led them in a song for the Veteran's Day program. Her biggest challenge was deciding which lessons to teach that would be hands-on, engaging, and ensure students had fun while learning. During her student teaching, she plans to incorporate more learning games to keep students interested. Two classroom management strategies she learned from Mrs. Baisden and will use are "Fun Friday Treats" and having each student use their own dry erase board during lessons.

I don’t need to pretend someone else. Teaching children can be tough and I am learning and improve everyday . In my opinion ,teaching is a way where I give away all the knowledge and skills that you learned to another human being to help them become successful in life . Beside teaching children , I also would like to teach adults because I want to see the comparison between two groups .
I never have any experience in the early childhood education field but I had been assigned to teach in a class as an after school teacher for a non-profit group. It was a paid position and it was difficult because I was alone .During the experience , I learned that all children learn and behavior different in their own ways .It takes a lot to be able to deal with a large group of kids from all the background and ethnicity .There is a big different for being a tutor and a teacher . Both roles plays similar duties but different environment . A tutor is someone who is working one on one with a student unlike a teacher is someone who is working with a large group of student . Looking back , I definitely want to do more of that so I can gain more experience . Now , I feel like I need more time to feel more comfortable to be a class setting environment .
