Getting to know learning and teaching environments

Students seem not verry interested in school in general, would like to fascinate them, motivate,
make them eager to know, to learn...
I'd like our syllabus to be more flexible for teachers to be free to use different methods
Engage as many students as possible and create meaningful that prepare them for adulthood as well as future education.
Be able to work with smaller group of students.To little time/student.
I would like to be able to pay more attention to the individual pupi's needs but teaching class sizes on the average
of 30 pupils this is not possible!
I would like to adapt my methods to every student...What about the course content?
I would like to use more discussions in my lessons and to do more projects that students could learn more
from their own experience.
Not so much individual or group work, but more collaborative work, because it's more human-interactive and pro-learning.
Less noise and more true dialogue and music to help relax and concentrate.
Less curriculum-oriented lessons and more project-oriented lessons.
Less time indoors and more time outdoor building up skills and developing the senses.
Less of 'you have to do this' and more of 'you are responsible for this' (more autonomy and creativity - under guidance.

Teachers' Questionnaire Learning Environments

  • 1. Teachers’Questionnaire Getting to know learning and teaching environments
  • 11. Question 10 Students seem not verry interested in school in general, would like to fascinate them, motivate, make them eager to know, to learn... I'd like our syllabus to be more flexible for teachers to be free to use different methods Engage as many students as possible and create meaningful that prepare them for adulthood as well as future education. Be able to work with smaller group of students.To little time/student. I would like to be able to pay more attention to the individual pupi's needs but teaching class sizes on the average of 30 pupils this is not possible! I would like to adapt my methods to every student...What about the course content? I would like to use more discussions in my lessons and to do more projects that students could learn more from their own experience. Not so much individual or group work, but more collaborative work, because it's more human-interactive and pro-learning. Less noise and more true dialogue and music to help relax and concentrate. Less curriculum-oriented lessons and more project-oriented lessons. Less time indoors and more time outdoor building up skills and developing the senses. Less of 'you have to do this' and more of 'you are responsible for this' (more autonomy and creativity - under guidance. (Some answers from the questionnaire)
