The student provided feedback for several courses taught by Cindy Pupo. For her Professional Communication Skills course, the student said the class greatly improved their communication skills, helped them feel more comfortable speaking publicly, and created a warm, welcoming environment. They also enjoyed the group activities despite initial reluctance. For her Leadership Theory and Ethical Practices course, the student said Cindy was able to clearly explain vague course material and relate it in ways students could understand, while the textbook was outdated. For her Management Foundations course, the student appreciated Cindy's industry understanding and helpful feedback to improve, as well as her use of real-life examples from experience.

Course: Professional Communication Skills
 The class was totally rewarding. Your teaching technique is very engaging, and is applied in a manner that allows the
audience to comprehend and apply the principles to real life situations. For this I thank you. Keep up the great work!
 Overall, I can honestly say that I enjoyed everything about this class. I have a very hard time communicating with
people face to face because of my severe anxiety. I am better at communicating by writing or using the social media.
This class has helped to make me feel comfortable speaking in front of a classroom. The happiness and laughter I
experienced in this classroom helped me to feel relaxed when speaking to other classmates face to face.
 This class helped me to improve my communication skills immensely. I didn't know how in depth communication
really was until I started taking this class. It felt like I was in an English class at the same time. This class helped to
improve my writing skills in communication. I feel like I am better able to talk to people better through my writing.
The atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming. The amount of class participation and the laughter I experienced
from each student was an incredible feeling. Being in a positive environment helped me to feel more comfortable
participating in class and getting to know the professor and other students.
 Oddly enough I really enjoyed the group activities! During the first class when Cindy said we would be doing a lot of
group projects I cringed, but once we got into the swing of things I can honestly say I really enjoyed working with
my classmates each time we met. Also I feel much more confident (well, a little more confident) speaking in front of
the class. Cindy set up the class so that we were all really comfortable speaking to each other and it was not nearly
as terrifying as it had been in other classes :)
 Cindy was very clear about what her expectations were for the class which I really appreciated. If you missed class
you could easily pick up what was missed from the syllabus. Additionally, she was really easy to talk to, and made me
feel comfortable working on public speaking and in the group projects. Cindy really cares about her students, and it
shows. Thank you!
Course: Leadership Theory and Ethical Practices
 The professor gave feedback that was straight to the point and honest, which made it easier for me to understand
what she wanted me to get out of the course. She also did a great job of making sense of material in the book which
may have been vague, and explaining and relating it so that is was more clear.
 The instructor, Ms. Pupo, was excellent at relating the material in easily understood methods. Her ability to use
examples that students could understand was uncanny. The only negative side to the course was a textbook. "Taking
Sides" presented new issues using old arguments. Ms. Pupo was able to develop a method of instruction to work
around this old material, but that book "needs to go." It is outdated and does not reflect the times.
Course: Management Foundations
 She really understood the industry and consistently gave helpful feedback as to how to make ourselves better. She
also sent out numerous job/internship opportunities via email throughout the semester to help us as individuals, not
just students.
 She uses real life examples and isn't afraid to explain something multiple ways.
