TaskTrek is now available on Mobile. You can access your TaskTrek account from any mobile
device, on the go. You can reply to messages, view information, assign work to team, create
tasks and do much more in matter of seconds and it is very simple to use.
Flexible Hierarchy
TaskTrek joins the elite club of collaboration softwares with n-level hierarchy support.
TaskTrek has been designed keeping in mind small and larger work teams, and companies. The
interface allows communication to flow from members within a team, inter team and clients
across levels in the organization with fine grain access controls. Using TaskTrek, it is not
difficult at all to share information or connect with someone in your organization top to
bottom.
Discuss Files
You can discuss files with team members and clients. Then again, the control to access
information is in your hands. once a file has been uploaded or a new version to a file, you can
discuss the same with the person who has sent it or with the team to whom it's been shared
with.
Standard Folders & Linking Option
Standardization helps the team to come together and perform well with minimum errors. It
binds together people with a common understanding of work and avoids confusion, or any sort
of breakdown.
We know people don't like to be told what is to be done and how it is to be done, more the case
in seniors levels of any organization hence Standard Folders introduced.
Standard folders feature is connected to projects or main activities. Meaning, all project
level data that is mostly approved or final version and good to use by anyone in the team or
client is saved here.
To any project or activity there can be multiple sub activities or tasks. There is also file storage
at the Task level but it does not follow a standard approach. If any Task Level document is good
to be shared will everyone on the common project, it can be linked to the project folder with
the fine grain 'link' option available. The reverse that is 'unlinking' is also possible. In the Task
level, the file can be uploaded as a new file or version of the file. So, there is a clear
demarcation between a file and versions of the file, compartmentalized in a manner to avoid
clutter. Otherwise, normally, one would store all kinds of data in one folder and label it. For a
new person it is mind breaking job to decipher which one is the correct file to be used.

Document Versioning
In TaskTrek, all versions or multiple versions of a particular document are stored in one place
and new files in another place. This way, all your data is beautifully organized and fed into the
system enabling easy and quick access to your relevant files. Thereby, demystifying your
information storage and cut through the clutter of abundant data.
With the help of Document Versioning feature, you can track all your old and new versions of a
particular document in one place. Even if you run out words to rename your file, it is absolutely
fine coz' the system puts in an ascending number to your file any which ways when uploaded.
I.e (1, 1.1, 1.2…). Not only this, you can change the automatic setting or labeling generated by
the system.
With Document Versioning, it is very easy to locate your files, with zero confusion on which one
is the correct file or the one you need, and saves your time renaming files or opening each one
of them to check for the right one.
Work Allocation & Team Schedules
A manager can open activities for his team members and allocate work. You can opt to hide
your entire team or partially some from the client if they are not working on the related
client's activity or you feel the information sharing is confidential. This control rests in your
hand to manage client relationships better. This way the client will not have any interaction
with the hidden team member. He / she can track team performance through report and in one
glance view team list activity wise or task wise.
Managers on TaskTrek have access to their team's schedule or all work that has been allocated
to team members in a calendar and grid format with colour coding. They can filter the team
schedule by team members' names, or clients or status on activity (open, completed, in
progress, etc)
Access Rights
You can select team members with whom you wish to share files, messages, chat or address
questions. Also, you can hide or unhide select team members from client interface and as a
manager view all messages exchanged by your team members to monitor performance and
track all communication exchanges on any activity. Generic messaging or one-to-one
messaging all made easy and secure through TaskTrek.
Powerful Search
Powerful search by keyword throws up results in seconds as it searches throughout the system.
There are two types of search options: a) Generic search for files by typing key word to search
throughout the system and b) specific within files to search by keyword with the files (even zip
folders).

All communication categorized and grouped under "messages", "files", "questions", "tasks" and

All messages come with following options: "view all related messages", "reply", "reply all" and

All files (or documents) come with following options: "view all related files", "link file",
"version history", "download file", "e-mail file" and "upload file" and "discuss file"
Favourites & QuickLinks
Favourites is to bookmark a section for faster access to it next time. You can bookmark or star
your items to the Favourites icon or section on the top toolbar that appears on all pages of
TaskTrek. It acts like a shortcut or quick access feature that takes you to the item most
relevant to you in no time.
You can bookmark or add to Favourites your key projects, or tasks (sub activities), messages,
files and important query or question(s) doing rounds within your team or with client.
Both Favourites and QuickLinks section help in easy and fast navigation for information when
required.
