• Simply how you organize your time and schedule
• Make decisions on what you prioritize your time
• Do you go to that party when you have a test the next day?
• Create effective daily habits
• Wake up and go to sleep at the same time everyday
• Schedule time to study, sleep, and take care of yourself
Create Your Semester Calendar
• Use a month view to write down all tests, quizzes, and assignment
due dates
• Mark out any days that you won’t work (ex. spring break, birthdays,
travel)
• Use different colors for each of your classes, work and personal
appointments

Create a Weekly Schedule
1. Class and work schedule
2. Other commitments (clubs, sports, volunteering, etc.)
3. Self-care (sleep, eating, chores, exercise, personal care, social)
• Schedule your wake up and go to sleep times
• Schedule time for exercise and being with friends
4. Study time
• Study time = credit hours x 3 (juniors & seniors)
• 15 credit hours x 3 = 45 study hours per week
