TITLE:
Software Requirement for Online
Shopping Mall
Functional Requirement 1
• Browsing through the e-Mall to see the items
that are there in each category of products
like Apparel, Kitchen accessories, Bath
accessories, Food items etc.
Mathematical Statement 1
• Browse(user, category) select(user, apparel)
v select(user, kitchen) v select(user, bath) v
select(user, food)
Functional Requirement 2
• Adequate searching mechanisms for easy and
quick access to particular products and
services.
Mathematical Statement 2
• Search(user, access)  select(user, product) ^
select(user, service)
Functional Requirement 3
• Shop employees are responsible for internal
affairs like processing orders, assure home
delivery, getting customer's delivery-time
feedback, updating order's status and
answering client's queries online.
Mathematical Statement 3
• e employee) | task(e, PO) ^
task(e, homeDelivery) ^ task(e, feedback) ^
task(e, orderStatus) ^
task(employee, client_queries)
Functional Requirement 4
• Feedback mechanism, so that customers can
give feedback for the product or service which
they have purchased. Also facility rating of
individual products by relevant customers.
Also feedback can be given on the
performance of particular vendors and the
entire mall as well.
Mathematical Statement 4
• c customer | feedback(c, product) v
select(c, service) v select(c, facility) v
select(c, performance)
Comment about Translation Process
• My comment about translation process from
natural language to mathematical statement is
the process how we use the mathematical
statement in representing the natural
language. So, we need to understand the
mathematical symbol and how to use it. If we
understand it, it is easy to us to do the
translation process from natural language to
mathematical statement.
