Because I wanted my target audience research to be non-bias and fair, I decided to ask
an even amount of males and females to represent my target audience because my
target audience for my film is not particularly aimed at either gender and I wanted my
primary research to be accurate.

3. I also decided that I everyone who completed my questionnaire had to be
within the age range of my target audience which is 15-30 years old. This is so
I knew that the answers that they gave were representative and that my film is
a product they would actually purchase. As this chart shows, I mainly asked
16-18 years old because I think they’re more likely to go the cinema compared
to the rest of my target audience.

4. As my data shows, comedy is the most popular genre of film, closely followed by
horror which is the genre I have chosen to use for my film. I chose this genre
because I think it is very popular with my target audience, which my survey has
shown.

As this bar graph shows, the two most popular of the horror sub genres are
Supernatural and Zombie. My film is a supernatural so I have taken into account
what my target audience wants and enjoys and incorporated this into my film
opening.
