Target Audience
Location The location of our target audience would be all Christmas celebrating countries. Christmas is a worldwide celebration, so our documentary would be aimed at all these countries and more!!   The United Kingdom, Australia, America….
Age BAH! HUMBUG! Everyone loves Christmas! :D EXCEPT SCROOGE!  As Christmas is a family celebration, our documentary would appeal to a wide range of ages. Children, adults and elderly people.
Gender Our documentary will be aimed at both males and females, because they both celebrate Christmas.
Socio-economic group The target audience social class will be from E-C. We will include a range of social classes, such as Businessmen, teachers and students. By having this wide range of social classes our audience should be able to relate to some of them.
Hobby The majority of our audience will be interested in Christmas and familiar with it’s traditions. Christmas is such a well-known and loved celebration that the audience will be large.  People who practice religion will be interested in our documentary.
Education Education does not really affect our target audience. Our documentary will include a range of individuals with different levels of education so our audience can relate to these individuals based on their own level of education.
Domestic circumstances Domestic circumstances do not play a huge part on our target audience, however Christmas is traditionally a family event. So our documentary would appeal to families.
Spending power Our audiences spending power will have a big range.  Christmas has become more focused on materialistic goods recently so our audiences spending power would increase around this time of the year.
Religion Christmas is mainly a Christian celebration. However, other religions might be interested in Christmas and it’s tradition .
Ethnicity  My audience will be made of different ethnicities. I will make sure that our documentary features people of different backgrounds so that it appeals to the target audience
Current Media Consumption My documentary will refer to different types of media for example: Radio, Television, magazines etc.

  • 2. Location The location of our target audience would be all Christmas celebrating countries. Christmas is a worldwide celebration, so our documentary would be aimed at all these countries and more!! The United Kingdom, Australia, America….
  • 3. Age BAH! HUMBUG! Everyone loves Christmas! :D EXCEPT SCROOGE!  As Christmas is a family celebration, our documentary would appeal to a wide range of ages. Children, adults and elderly people.
  • 4. Gender Our documentary will be aimed at both males and females, because they both celebrate Christmas.
  • 5. Socio-economic group The target audience social class will be from E-C. We will include a range of social classes, such as Businessmen, teachers and students. By having this wide range of social classes our audience should be able to relate to some of them.
  • 6. Hobby The majority of our audience will be interested in Christmas and familiar with it’s traditions. Christmas is such a well-known and loved celebration that the audience will be large. People who practice religion will be interested in our documentary.
  • 7. Education Education does not really affect our target audience. Our documentary will include a range of individuals with different levels of education so our audience can relate to these individuals based on their own level of education.
  • 8. Domestic circumstances Domestic circumstances do not play a huge part on our target audience, however Christmas is traditionally a family event. So our documentary would appeal to families.
  • 9. Spending power Our audiences spending power will have a big range. Christmas has become more focused on materialistic goods recently so our audiences spending power would increase around this time of the year.
  • 10. Religion Christmas is mainly a Christian celebration. However, other religions might be interested in Christmas and it’s tradition .
  • 11. Ethnicity My audience will be made of different ethnicities. I will make sure that our documentary features people of different backgrounds so that it appeals to the target audience
  • 12. Current Media Consumption My documentary will refer to different types of media for example: Radio, Television, magazines etc.
