WHAT IS
OPINION?
Opinion-marking signals
 are words or phrases used to show feelings,
emotions, and attitudes towards something.
They are helpful clues in the form of words
and phrases that assist us in identifying
opinion statements. They are found mostly at
the beginning of sentences. They introduce
one’s opinion.
What Are Opinion Marking Signals?
 The common opinion marking signals are as
follows: personally, in my opinion, in my
experience, etc. However, other phrases work
in the same context as well. So, for example,
when you hear a statement and say ‘I beg to
differ,’ then start expressing your opinion—
that’s considered an opinion marking signal.

  • 7. Opinion-marking signals  are words or phrases used to show feelings, emotions, and attitudes towards something. They are helpful clues in the form of words and phrases that assist us in identifying opinion statements. They are found mostly at the beginning of sentences. They introduce one’s opinion.
