or female, its very hard for a film to be successful at having a
mixed audience.
The film The Hangover, which I recently looked in to and posted on my blog is successful with
both genders. This is because the genre of the film is comedy which attracts both female and
male. I believe most males can associate with it as the story line in about four average men.
Furthermore I think women are most attracted to it because they’ll be attracted to looking at
the men in the film.
The film love Actually, which I have also looked in to and posted on my blog further down is
more successful with the female gender, this is because the film is completely romantic and
about different type of love. On the other hand, the male gender might watch is with their
partners to be romantic.
The film Twilight, which I have again looked in to and posted on my blog is more successful
with the female gender which they were disappointed about as they aimed to successful with
both. I believe that its more popular with females because the two out of three of the
characters are played by attractive male who walk around the movie with there tops off which
will attract female genders more.

The Hangover target audiences nationality would be mostly
at Americans as they use strong American accidents and
jokes which would be fully understood by Americans.
Furthermore its mainly shot in Las Vegas which will be
showing the American culture and life which Americans
would want to watch. On the other hand, I believe most
Love Actually target nationality would want to watch this films
audience’s nationality Twilight’s target
would be mostly British as audiences nationality
