The SEATOUCH Condominium is located at Queen’s Quay East. The SEATOUCH was designed to offer res-
idents at the same time aesthetical beauty and sustainable design. The condominium was modelled with three
principles: Biomimicry, Recyclability and Sustainability.
The outline of the building and the decorative part of the railings repeats the shape of the water waves. The dou-
ble façade in the shape of the hexagon reminds the form of the starfish.
The building offers numerous sustainable features: Sun adaptive façade- protecting building from overheating;
swift wind turbines, concentrated solar power- producing electricity and heat the water, cool roof system- help to
reduce cooling of the building, Energy Star Rated Appliances- reducing the use of electricity.
The condominium is constructed with recyclable materials, such as recyclable concrete, recyclable glass panes,
reclaimed wood for kitchen cabinets.

Toronto Waterfront Interpretation Centre was designed to create the harmony with nature and a
source to experience waterfront neighborhood. The idea behind the form of the building was to
delight human’s mind with surrounding such as Ontario lake and the forest as well as to introduce
the building as another natural element.The Centre features the roof, which is accessible for bi-
cyclists, who would ride a continuous path through the park. Pedestrians during their walk would
experience different perspective views: contemplating nature from high point being on the roof,
and after enjoying the landscape features.

Project Description: Reuse, Recycle and Self-sustain.
The building was designed to fully adopt motto “Reuse, Recycle and
Self-sustain”. The entire structure, envelope, systems, and interior are designed
of products easily disassembled to permit ready recycling. Building features nu-
merous sustainable features such as solar panels, south facing glazing with auto-
matic louvres, harvesting water system, which is treated with pulsed electromag-
netic technology, natural ventilation through operating windows and skylight on
the roof, double stud walls. The building itself would be deconstructable in other
words, it would be possible to disassemble it economically for reuse and recycling.
The form of building in the shape of flower trillium; the shape of trillium’s petals are
cool roof made of galvanised metal to harvest the water for using in washrooms;
the form of trillium’s leaves are green roof. The structure consists of gallery and
