Synthesis Example Essay
Crafting a synthesis example essay can be a challenging endeavor that demands a combination
of critical thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication. The difficulty lies not only in
gathering information from various sources but also in synthesizing those diverse ideas into a
cohesive and well-structured piece.
To begin with, the process involves extensive research to gather relevant data from a variety of
sources, which could include academic articles, books, research papers, and more. The challenge
is not just in the quantity but also in the quality of the sources selected. It requires a discerning
eye to choose reputable and reliable materials that contribute to the overall credibility of the
essay.
Once the information is collected, the synthesis process itself is intricate. Weaving together
different viewpoints, theories, or arguments from disparate sources requires careful consideration
and a deep understanding of the subject matter. The ability to identify connections, patterns, and
overarching themes is crucial to developing a well-integrated synthesis.
Furthermore, the synthesis example essay must have a clear and logical structure. Arranging the
information in a manner that flows smoothly and supports the thesis statement can be
demanding. Balancing the inclusion of key points from each source while maintaining the
essay's coherence poses a significant challenge.
Additionally, the essay must reflect your voice as a writer. While synthesizing information, it's
essential to provide original insights and analysis. This requires a nuanced understanding of the
topic and the ability to critically evaluate the information gathered.
In conclusion, writing a synthesis example essay is a complex task that necessitates meticulous
research, analytical thinking, and effective synthesis of diverse ideas. It demands not only a deep
understanding of the topic but also the skill to present a cohesive and original perspective.
Despite its difficulty, mastering the art of synthesis in essay writing can be a valuable skill for
academic and professional success.
For those who find this process overwhelming, it's worth noting that assistance is available.

interpersonal relationships than did those students who did not join a fraternity or

there were several factors that affect the achievement and retention of Black Students,
who were in predominantly White institutions (PWIs). Many of these students
especially Black males, exist in social isolation on predominantly White campuses.
She also states Blacks lack interpersonal relationships that foster academic and career
achievement. Fleming concludes, must therefore find constructive means of

Black men pursuing their dreams of higher education at that institution sought to
improve themselves through the formation of a social studies and literary society.
This organization later became the first national college fraternity for Black men:

Rousseau s Influence On America
We all know the story of America. British citizens irritated with their overbearing
government left Europe for North America on the Mayflower, where they met the
natives, learned how to grow corn thanks to the natives, celebrated the first
Thanksgiving, threw some tea into the ocean that once guided them to solace,
eventually cut ties with England, and wrote the documents that solidified the country
we know and love today, nearly 300 years later. But most Americans do not know the
influence Europehad on America s beginnings, particularly works of the philosophes.
It is more fiction than fact that James Madison was the sole mover of the
Constitution; Jean Jacques Rousseau was the true great weaver of webs. If Madison
and Adams were the Framers,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After dividing religion into three forms, the religion of man, which is personal, the
religion of the citizen, which is public, and the third, including Christianity, which he
criticizes, has two competing systems of laws, namely state and religion. The concept
of a separation between church and state is a hallmark of American government. This
theory obviously inspired the first Amendment, which details the freedom of
expression, whether it be religious preference, dissent, sexual preference, and so on.
The right of practicing any religion and the separation of church and state is protected
in this Amendment to the Constitution and explicitly detailed in this quotation.
Rousseau then continues to outline the dogmas of civil religion, which ought to be
few, simple, and exactly worded, without explanation or commentary (73). This truly
applies to the American translation of Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof (Amend.
The Importance Of Water In Southwest Kansas
Living in Southwest Kansas there is always a need for water no matter what it is
for. The importance of water in Kansas is getting dramatic due to the Ogallala
Aquifer shrinking in size on a daily basis. There are thousands of things that can
possibly go wrong because of our diminishing water supply. The impact that water
has on our town is significant, hundreds of possible predicaments can occur because
we would no longer have the aquifer, however, there are many ways we can prolong
our water supplylife in our generation that we are currently living. Small
communities in Southwest Kansasrely on our water supply heavily. We have many
uses for the water everyone uses on a regular basis. On a regular basis occupants
are using water in order to water their grass and gardens, everyone needs water in
order to survive, and farmers rely on water for their crops. The impact that water has
on Southwest occupants is enormous. Without our water supply Kansas would
slowly die out having to leave in order to find sources... Show more content on

A few options would have to be considered to limit the use of water no matter
where anyone lives in order to delay the complete depletion of our water supply. A
simple start would be to start limiting water usage in homes. People are guilty all
over Kansas area of taking twenty to thirty minute showers which is completely
unnecessary. Cutting the length of showers to once a day and a fraction of that
shower time would save millions of gallons of water expeditiously. Another valid
option would be to consider the amount of water used to water household yards.
Yes, everyone wants a luscious front yard with healthy trees and a beautiful garden
but the use of water can be regulated to help save. Hundreds of gallons of water are
used in towns every where in order to make their grass green again. It is beautiful
but the water can be shaved down in order to
Elon Musk And Its Impact On The Planet
Within every generation, there are some individuals who transcend expectations and
seek to innovate beyond all preconceived boundaries. Elon Musk is one of those
individuals, and he s currently valued at $11.9 billion.
But how did this South African born entrepreneur make his way into virtually every
technological industry on the planet? How did he become the space traveling,
futuristic car selling, loudmouthed computer genius we all know today?
Elon Musk took an interest in computing and innovation from a very young age. By
his thirteenth birthday, he had already taught himself programming, constructed a
complex space themed computer game, and sold it to a large corporation. After
moving to the United States and earning a bachelor degrees in Economics and
Physics from the University of Pennsylvania, Musk moved on to Stanford University
in attempt to earn his PhD in energy physics.
What follows is a tremendous rise to success. Taking a look at exactly what
happened, what struggles and what successes this man endured, we are in turn able
to learn valuable lessons on hard work, innovation, and life itself. Here are the most
powerful takeaways from Elon Musk s life, as said in his own words:
When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor.
Musk never did complete that PhD at Stanford. After only two days, he decided to
drop out and pursue his passions in the fields of energy, technology and space travel.

The Hebrews Are A Covenant Oriented Demographic
The Hebrews are a Covenant oriented demographic. Their holy book is the Torah
and as defined by God for the Torah there are six Covenants to follow these would
include: Abrahamic, Mosaic, Priestly, Davidic, and the New Covenant. The main
question pertains to the fact of how faithful were the Hebrews And God to these
Covenants. Another thought is to how did these Covenants separate the Hebrews
from their surrounding neighbors? Can these covenants be applied to daily life
and resound on a personal level in 2016 as well?I firmly believe that the covenants
can provide a peace of mind for those that are willing to accept the Scriptures and
apply them to be a more ethical and morally sound person. The six Covenants
define Hebrew law and give a basis for how the current population of Jewish people
follows and practice their religion. The first Covenant is the Abrahamic covenant
this is defined in Genesis chapters 12 through 13. In Genesis 12 and 15, God grants
Abraham land and descendants. This Covenant states that to make of Abraham a
great nation and bless Abraham and make his name great so that he will be a
blessing, to bless those who bless him and curse him who curses him and all peoples
on earth would be blessed through Abraham. To give Abraham s descendants all the
land from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates, this is now known as Israel. To make
Abraham the father of many nations and of many descendants and give the whole
land of Canaan to his

Conflict and Negotiation is the study of conflicts and how to work through them
in a productive way. These lessons are important in a workplace and in life
because it helps you understand how conflicts are created and how to approach
different ones. The value in these lessons is that they can be used to effectively in
interpersonal relationships. In everyday life there are always conflict between
family, friends, and co workers. With a class in conflict and negotiation you re
able to gain skills and knowledge that help you confidently and effectively solve
problems. In our current social climate there are a lot of clashing opinions and
ideas. Without the correct knowledge of how to handle a conflict we will never be
able to come to a consensus on any issue.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K Rowling is the third installment of
the worldwide smash hit Harry Potter series. In the story many of the characters
experience sub conflicts from the main conflict. One of the longest running conflicts
of the story was between Ron Weasleyand Hermione Granger. Before the conflict
between Ron and Hermione begins it is known that they have a virtue friendship.
Aristotle describes a true friendship/virtue friends as having mutual affection, mutual
recognition and mutual valuing. (Rocket.csusb.edu, 2017) The adventures that they

Pettibon System
Pettibon System for Chiropractic Care The Chiropractic care primarily focusses on
the treatment of ailments related to the nervous system and the musculoskeletal
system without the usage of drugs. The patients are subjected to various rehabilitative
and therapeutic exercise programs. In the recent times, the Pettibon system is being
practiced widely by many chiropractic physicians and claims to be one of the best
approach for the chiropractic care. The Pettibon system consists of rehabilitative
programs for the hard and soft tissues of the spine. The spinal corrections demands
involvement of the entire spine than just one vertebrae or segment. The re alignment
of the spine is the main idea of the Pettibon and make it function in its upright
position in relative to gravity. This is achieved using the concept of Pettibon

The weight values depend on the extremity of the spinal displacement that has to be
corrected. The patients are required to wear the weights daily for about 20 minutes
until the spine is fully corrected from its displacement. The weights will cause
changes in the center of mass of the head, thoracic cage and the pelvis. This causes
the spine to send correct sensory input to the nervous system. In order to balance the
body weight, the organizing energy of the nervous system will cause the spinal
muscles involved to relax and other spinal muscles to contract. This will result in the
correction and the repositioning of the spine relative to the

Injustices occur everyday in the world. We tend to witness injustices on a daily

Nos faltan 43 (we are still missing 43), They took them alive, we want them back
alive were some of the phrases that Mexico used in their strikes to unify as a nation
against the corrupt government. The poem BuscГЎbamos a 43 (We were looking for
43) by Jenaro Villamil, expresses the perspective of the Mexican people. This poem
presents the tragedy with a melancholic tone. This has not been the first time that
violent injustices occurred in Mexico, but this poem shows how this event led the
mexican people to realize in the violence and horror they live. Jenaro Villamil starts
off the poem with the line ВїCuГЎnto horror seremos capaces de conocer? (1), which
translates to, how much horror will we be capable of knowing?, this expresses
how much horror they have already experienced. This source doesn t include any
specific facts or dates about the tragedy, because it is a poem, but it does introduce
how the students are seen by Mexico, as young humble victims. The lines that I was
more impacted by that Jenaro Villamil says are: Porque aГєn con ellos vivos, sanos,
salvos o heridos / No podemos callar A los olvidados que sembramos, which means,
because even with them alive, safe and sound, or wounded, we cannot remain silent
for the forgotten that we sowed. This segments of the poem represent the reason why
the mexican people protested, and keep protesting up to now, because even though
there are no signs of their bodies, they represent a part of the forgotten, who they are

Elementary School Hours
I m sure we all remember our elementary days. Having the same teacher all day
long for each subject. How if you got a teacher you really liked you were able to
see them every day for the whole school year. But that if that wasn t the case you
were stuck with just one teacher unless there was a substitute. I m not sure about you
but I remember how happy I was when I learned that for middle schoolwe would have
a different teacher for each subject. We would have one teacher for math another for
science and then a different one for history to where we would only see them an
hour a day instead of 7 hours straight. That s just one of the difference between
elementary and middle school. Another is break time. In elementary it s called recess.

In high school when you get up in 11th and 12th grade you will be able to take
classes different than your core courses, such as math and history, you can take
photography or phycology and those credits can work towards your high school
credits. Also in elementary there is no such things as credits.
One thing that is the same is the number of hours. Since it is state required that you
go to school for a certain amount of hours throughout the year. Each subject you
spend roughly an hour on. Even in elementary, it would be an hour of math, an
hour of science and so on. Only difference with middle and high school is that you
get a different teacher for each of those subjects. Another similarity is that they
both have sports. Though in high school they re taking more seriously due to
scholarships being available from it. Every grade has sports. And music and art
class. Though in elementary they are usually a required class even in high school
there is still artistic classes that people can take, whether its choir/ band, or an art
class for painting or photography, the school systems love when kids and young
adults are able to be creative and imaginative and open up

Letters on Revival is written by The Rev. Charles G. Finneyin year 1946 is series of
32 letters addressed to Ministers of the Gospel and all interested person. It is
Finney s Reflections on revival and revival meetings, written in 1845 46, and
distributed in the Oberlin Evangelist, the bi weekly official publication of Oberlin
College, where Rev. Finney was Professor of Theology and in the end, President of
the College. Finney s writing reflects a lot about revival; that it is a method for saving
souls as well as changing people and, eventually, the society. Through revivalism, the
church would introduce the millennial kingdom to the world. Finney acknowledges
that revival brought good change radically and also that Christians ought to be
effectively involved in transforming all areas of community.
This paper will aim to involve a close reading on Reflection on Revivals by Charles
G. Finny, We will be discussing seven different letters which He has address to the
Ministers of the Gospel and brothers. He talks about revival but he designed his
religious theology to fit his revivalist practices. His unique perspective of original sin
incorporated an improvement, the general nature of depravity, and a lack of teaching
of attribution. Three
Reward System
REWARD VS. RECOGNITION Although these terms are often used
interchangeably, reward and recognition systems should be considered separately.
Employee reward systems refer to programs set up by a company to reward
performance and motivate employees on individual and/or group levels. They are
normally considered separate from salary but may be monetary in nature or
otherwise have a cost to the company. While previously considered the domain of
large companies, small businesses have also begun employing them as a tool to lure
top employees in a competitive job market as well as to increase employee
performance. As noted, although employee recognition programs are often combined
with reward programs they retain a different purpose altogether.... Show more content

It can take many forms, including bonus programs, stock options, and one time
awards for significant accomplishments. Some companies choose to pay their
employees less than competitors but attempt to motivate and reward employees
using a variable pay program instead. According to Shawn Tully in Fortune, The test
of a good pay for performance plan is simple: It must motivate managers to produce
earnings growth that far exceeds the extra cost of [the program]. Though employees
should be made to stretch, the goals must be within reach. BONUSES Bonus
programs have been used in American business for some time. They usually reward
individual accomplishment and are frequently used in sales organizations to
encourage salespersons to generate additional business or higher profits. They can
also be used, however, to recognize group accomplishments. Indeed, increasing
numbers of businesses have switched from individual bonus programs to one which
reward contributions to corporate performance at group, departmental, or company
wide levels. According to some experts, small businesses interested in long term
benefits should probably consider another type of reward. Bonuses are generally short
term motivators. By rewarding an employee s performance for the previous year, say
critics, they encourage a short term perspective rather than future oriented
accomplishments. In addition, these programs need to be
The Black Hole, A Region Of Spacetime
The black hole, a region of spacetime thats gravity is so strong that can prevent

empty holes in space, but rather a massive amount of matter packed into a small area.
The graphic to the right shows the simulated view of a black holein front of a Large

theory of general relativity. It predicts that a plentiful compact mass will contort
spacetime and create a black hole. The area where the nothing can escape is called
the event horizon. It has no basic features, and it acts like a perfect black body, in the
sense that it reflects no light. Also, according to the to quantum field... Show more

The graphic to the left shows the supermassive black hole in the Milky Way,

Black holes have quite the history, and the idea of them has been around for longer
than you may think. An object thats gravitational fields are too strong for anything,
even light, to escape was first thought of in the 18th century. John Michell first wrote
about a massive body with these features in a letter to Henry Cavendish of the Royal
Society in 1783. The letter says:
In the year 1796, French mathematician Pierre Simon Laplace had the same thoughts
in the first and second editions of his book Exposition du systГЁme du Monde. What
he had called dark stars were ignored in the 19th century, because the idea that light
was affected by gravity was unfathomable.
In 1915, the great German mathematician, Albert Einstein, developed his own theory
of general relativity. This showed that gravity does in fact influence light s motion.
Within a few months of releasing his theory, Karl Schwarzschild had found the
solution to Einstein s equations. The solution describes the gravitational field of a
point mass and of a spherical mass. A couple months after Schwarzschild s
discoveries, Johannes Droste had by himself given the same solution, but had written
more extensively on its properties. In the year of 1931, the Indian astrophysicist
Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar used special relativity to calculate that a non rotating

This concept is way wrong!
Bodyweight training alone has so many different variations and modifications that an
athlete or trainee could actually go without lifting heavy weights for a long time and
still manage to build lots of muscle and strength fast.

Pros And Cons Of Burglary
is fenced in, any other structure inside the fence is considered an extension of the
dwelling, even if those buildings are not used as living quarters. If there is, for
example, a farmhouse, a barn, and a tool shed that all sit within one large fence, the
barn and the tool shed are considered part of the dwelling even though they are not
used as living quarters and, if a defendant breaks and enters into the barn or the tool
shed with the intent of committing a felony, he can be convicted of burglary.
Also please note that if a defendant enters a dwelling without breaking, but, once
inside, breaks into a closed part of the dwelling, he can be convicted of burglary.

In such cases, one party s breaking and entering into the other party s living space at
night with the intent of committing a felony will constitute burglary.
Many jurisdictions have also eliminated the element of dwelling from the burglary
definition and consider burglary the entering onto any premises with the intent to
commit a felony therein.
As we have said, the breaking and entering must be done at night in order to qualify
as burglary. However, the breaking and entering do not have to be done on the same
night. That is to say, the defendant can create the opening in the dwelling on one
night and then use that opening to gain entry on another night. Please remember,
however, that, as we said before, there must be a causal relationship between the
breaking and entering so that, even though the breaking and entering can occur on
different nights, the breaking must be the means that the defendant uses to gain
access to the dwelling.
Many jurisdictions have also eliminated the element of night from the burglary
definition and consider burglary the entering onto any premises at any time with the
intent to commit a felony

only influenced the way they thought about the world, but also the way they treated
and viewed the body. The body is a very important and useful theme in archeology as
the body acts as a metaphor for society, the way a society/culturetreats the body
provides vital important regarding their worldview. In addition, the body is a tool of
lived experience which can indicate how individuals lived, what was sacred or
important to them and also shedding light on who they were. In other words, by
understanding how bodies were conceptualized in Andean societies archeologist can
indicate the significance of certain ritualpractices. It is important to deconstruct the
body as it provides social truths regarding a specific culture within the Andean region.
Furthermore, people do things to their bodies which may help archeologists
understand their belief system, the practices/work they may have been doing. For
example, if an individual spends their whole life grinding corn the body would reflect
this activity and thus would be able provide information regarding that culture. This
theme concerning the body pushes us to consider distinct ontologies as different
cultures and societies developed differently and thus has diverse beliefs,
Abuse Of Children In William Blake s The Chimney
Sweeper
Beginning in the 1670s children were often used as chimney sweeps in England.
After the Great Fire of London, new building regulations were designed to keep the
city safer. Fireplaces were required to be built a certain way, with narrower chimneys;
and it became more important to ensure that the chimneys were free of obstruction
after a liberal amount of usage. Since the chimneyswere so cramped, this task was
given to children, the only people petite enough to fit inside the chimneys. Most of
the children who were chimneysweeps were often orphans who were apprenticed to
a Master Sweep who would be their boss and take care of them. Consequently,
during this time period, the terrible abuse of children as chimney sweeps became
widespread. William Blake was an author during this time period who realized how
horrible the chimney sweeping industry was. Blake was so disgusted with the
industry that he wrote two poems about it, one in Songs of Innocence and another
in Songs of Experience. In Songs of Experience, William Blake s The Chimney
Sweeper uses a critical tone of society to give a voice to social groups who did not
have the ability to use their voices.
The Chimney Sweeper begins with a man spotting a child in the snow. The child s
parents are away at church, making him stay in the cold to work and earn more
money for the family. In line one of the poem when the man who spots the chimney
sweep refers to the child as a black thing . While the black refers to the soot that
covers this child s body, black is often recognized as a color that symbolizes death.
Hence, when the chimney sweep mentions snow again, and says they clothed me in
the clothes of death, the reader identifies the contrast between the white snow and the
dark child. The snow symbolizes the innocence of childhood, while the dark child
represents the darkness of child labor.
When Blake says, and are gone to praise God his priest King God and his Priest
symbolize the church, and the King symbolizes the monarchy. He criticizes the
importance of religious obligations that the parents are more concerned with, rather
than their child who is freezing, alone in the snow. Subsequently, the sweeper
concludes by saying God and his priest

ABSTRACT:
Coccidoxenoides perminutus (Timberlake) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) is solitary
endoparasitoid associated with mealybugs. Parasitoid having very good biocontrol
potential against Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley and Maconellicoccus hirsutus
(Green) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae). The parasitoid affected by several pesticides
sprayed on vineyards for the control of pest species. Bioassay of nine different
pesticides through dry film method was conducted in the laboratory by using adults
and pupae of parasitoid. Among tested pesticides Spirotetramate and Horti Impact
caused high mortality of adult parasitoid and similarly these pesticides also found
toxic towards adult emergence of parasitoid. Whereas, drenching of Imidacloprid and
Clothianidin cause moderate mortality of parasitoids emerged from cocoons. The
emerged parasitoids from treated cocoons were tested for their longevity. Even 24

Plate Armorry In The Middle Ages
In the Middle Ages circa the fifteenth century, Knights would wear special armor
when in battle. These suits were made of many separate pieces of armor that all
protected a different part of the knights body. All of the pieces of the armor also
have their own names. There were multiple types of armor from the fifteenth
century, such as chainmail armor or plate armor. This project was an example of
plate armor. Plate armor was made of large metal plates that sometimes covered
the whole body. Plate armor was used to protect a soldier from being wounded in
battle, and was mostly effective. Early plate armor was made out of leather, iron, or
bronze. Later, there was a transition to steel, yet it wasn t used very often because it

Well done again counsellor. Getting an objective view on this.
Bandara: Well that is simple. Think through the ideas you have always had, refine
them and get them out of your head and onto paper (or a Word document). Not too
long. Do not spend too much time on it and keep it very brief an overview. Arrange

you have always had these ideas but never shared then and you would now like to

You will either get an acceptance, in which case you will achieve what you have

President Ulysses S. Grant signed a law making Yellowstone National Park out of
3,468 square miles of land in Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. The people of the
United States wanted to preserve the land to let future generations see the shooting
geysers, bubbling hot pots, forests full of towering lodgepole pines, sparkling
lakes, and magnificent views of the stars at night. Of course, the land supported
unique animals such as bison, bald eagles, elk, grizzly bears, and wolves. However
within the first 50 years of being open, the wolves were hunted to extinction. They
were gone from the park for over 70 years. At that time, scientists and forest rangers
realized that the absence of wolves causing problems in the ecosystem; the elk
population had grown out of control. Therefore, in 1995 the Fish and Game
Department reintroduced wolves, which has benefited the Yellowstone ecosystem
in many ways. However, the farmer and ranchers feel negatively about the
reintroduction, feeling that wolves do nothing other than wreak havoc on livestock
and pose a dangerous threat to those visiting the park. The wolves appear as a
threat to the ecosystem of Yellowstone National Park, however they play a vital role
and keep the ecosystem balance. Today s culture encourages children to be scared of
wolves. Many of the stories shared with small

The Key Dimensions Of The Study
Overview of the chapter
This chapter embodies background of the study, statement of the problem, objectives
of the study, research questions, proposed methodology, significance of the study,
delimitation or scope of the study, and gives an overview of the salient issues to be
discussed in the subsequent chapters below.
1.2 Background of the study
Performance measurement is a topic which is often discussed but rarely defined.
Leong et al (1990) claim that it is widely accepted that the manufacturing task, and
hence the key dimensions of manufacturing performance can be defined in terms of
quality, delivery speed, delivery reliability, price (cost) and flexibility. Literally,
performance is the process of quantifying action, where measurement is the process of
quantification and action leads to performance. According to the marketing
perspective, organizations achieve their goals by satisfying their customers with
greater efficiency and effectiveness than their competitors (kotler, 1984). The terms
efficiency and effectiveness are used precisely in this context. Effectiveness refers to
the extent to which customer requirements are met, while efficiency is a measure of
how economically the firm s resources are utilized when providing a given level of
customer satisfaction. This is an important point because it does not only identify two
fundamental dimensions of performance, but also highlights the fact that there can be
internal as well as external reasons for pursuing
Modernism In Waiting For Godot
INTRODUCTION
The modern era in literature occupied the late years of nineteenth and early years of
twentieth century. The period was marked by a strong and intentional break with
tradition. This break includes a strong reaction against established religious,
traditional, political, and social views. It was an influential period that shaped the
development of western civilization throughout the twentieth century. A thorough
analysis of modern philosophy, culture, and art reveals the mindset of modernity and
how the historical events of the era influenced life during the early 1900s.
This period influenced a lot of literary figures in twentieth century, which is displayed
by them through their works. The poets especially, were largely expressive... Show

In the play, there is no orderly sequence of events taking place like, the tree which
was barren one day is covered with leaves the next, the two of them return to the
same place every day to wait for Godot but don t remember exactly what happened
the day before. Night falls instantly, and Godot never comes.
Even the tone of the play is also dull. Vladimir and Estragon is shown with only one
purpose in the play i.e. to meet Godot, however their only purpose is also left
unfulfilled in the end, hence resulting in ultimate hopelessness, uncertainty and
vagueness in their lives. They are left to lead a meaningless life with no purpose to
fulfil. Thus there are a lot of instances and elements that contributes to the fact that
vagueness in life is majorly depicted in the play, either through actions or dialogues or

The Effects of Exercise on the Pulmonary Ventilation Rate
Respiration is the process that takes place in every living cell to make energy
available to the body. Energy is vital for us to carry out many life processes such as
movement and so respiration in essential to life. During respiration glucose and
oxygen are used in a reaction that produces energy and gives out carbon dioxideand
water as waste products. Glucose is obtained by digestion of food and oxygenis taken
from the air during a process called breathing or ventilation. Pulmonary Ventilation is
the term given to the movement of air in and out of the lungs; the rate of pulmonary
ventilation is defined as the tidal volume multiplied by the number of breaths taken

The Market For A Car
You re in the market for a car, but just not any vehicle. Specifically, you re hemmed
in by budget restrictions and can spend no more than $5,000, perhaps much less.
The reality of the used car market is that even clunkers can cost a few thousand
dollars and that s exactly the type of vehicle you want to avoid. However, with
some careful research on your part, much patience, as well as satisfactory
negotiation skills, you can find a used car for under $5,000. Here s how to do it.
Manage Your Expectations
You might have a certain make and model in mind when choosing a reliable, low
cost used car, but your expectations should align with market realities. And those
realities will be confirmed when you shop for a car, study the ads, and research the
car valuation sites.
First, you should know that car values fluctuate. Indeed, in times when gas prices
are high, values of economical cars rise and those for large sedans, SUVs and
pickup trucks drop. Conversely, the opposite happens when fuel prices are low.
Second, the more particular you are about a brand, especially premium or luxury
brands, the more costly a vehicle will be. You may have your eyes set on a BMW, but
even a 3 Series approaching 20 years old will cost you. The reliability of an older
vehicle becomes an issue; acquiring parts for some foreign models can be pricey.
Technology is a State of Mind
Very few cars that are less than 10 years old can be had for $5,000 or less. Some

St Thomas Aquinas Unbelievers Essay
Both in the times of St. Thomas Aquinas and in our times, there are many other
religions. To avoid an everlasting war many chose to tolerate those of the different
religions. The Catholic Church teaches that it is the true Church and that salvation
cannot be found outside of the Catholic Church (Catechism). When St. Thomas
Aquinasspeaks of unbelievers he speaks of those who are not Catholic. Unbelievers
are very different from heretics. While the Church tends to treat unbelievers the
same as they have for many years, it no longer treats heretics in the way they once
did. In this paper I will discuss and analyze the thinking of St. Thomas Aquinas about
unbelievers and heretics and I will reflect upon and compare how those views fit into

Belief must be of one s own will and through the conversion process converts find
and struggle with their will, they then accept their will, and they have the word of
Christ within them once they are able to receive the sacraments.
Aquinas explains how we must have unbelievers in our world for religion to work and
continue to grow. Catholics are all called to evangelize, and this helps others get to
know God and his wonderous deeds. God in a sense asks us to evangelize by
allowing certain evils:
But God, although all powerful and supremely good, nonetheless allows some evils
to take place in the universe, evils that he could prevent, lest greater goods be lost
if evils were removed, or lest rightly tolerate certain evils let certain goods be
prevented, or even worse evils incurred (Aquinas 193).
Evangelization is a useful tool in compelling others towards Christ. When we
evangelize through working we express how much our beliefs rely on both prayer
and work. James 2:14 says, What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has
faith but has not works ? This passage from the Bible shows us again that we are
meant to go out and live our faith and evangelize through our deeds. God allows
different evils so that he can allow for these different goods, some of these goods can
be achieved through evangelization. Moments of working through our deeds
Airport Research Paper
Alarm clock is going off; time to wake up. Double checking everything, making
sure nothing important he is going to be left behind. The clock is ticking. I m
getting all of my suitcases ready and getting into the car. Today was the day! Today
was the day me and my brother would be taking a flight to the United States of
America.
Pulling up to the airport, we could see this airport was very big. As we made our
way to the counter to get checked in for our flight; we could see all the planes out
on the runway. The aroma of coffee in the air, as people started to line up to be
checked in. Everyone was just read to catch their flight.
We made it onto the flight. As we fasten our seat belts, the pilot gets ready to lift off
the ground. The plane
What Is Meant by the Kingdom of God Essay
Outline what Jesus must have meant when he used the term: Kingdom of God . The
term Kingdom of God (or as is otherwise referred to as Kingdom of Heaven in
Matthew s Gospel) is mentioned throughout the Four Gospels. Over the centuries
many scholars have reached the same conclusion that the central theme of Jesus
message regards the Kingdom of God. But what did Jesus mean by this term? This
essay aims to discuss the meaning of the term Kingdom of God and what Jesus must
have meant by this.
The Kingdom of God is perceived in many different ways by a variety of people. It
is commonly thought that it refers to a life after death namely Heaven and Jesus
seems to reinforce this by stating, my kingdom is not of this ... Show more content on

Consequently it is fair to say that to the Jewish people of Jesus time the term
Kingdom of God was interpreted as a time when God s rule would be restored
through a descendant of David and things would be good again. Macquarrie sums
their view precisely when he states, The coming of the Kingdom would mean the
judgement of the existing order, the overthrow of all evil and demonic powers and a
new order in which God s perfect reign would be manifested.
In contrast Pope Benedict XVI s book, Jesus of Nazareth, stated that the Kingdom of
God is ... an inner disposition characterised in daily behaviour by adopting the
mind and outlook of Christ... A teacher of the law once asked Jesus, Which
commandment is the most important? He deemed loving God and your neighbour
as the two most important. So here it is clear that Jesus is talking about love as a
major theme in personal conduct a theme which is exemplified by biblical stories
of Jesus own behaviour. Jesus demonstrated his love for others on many occasions
and in many different ways. He spoke to people who were outcasts or disliked such
as the woman at the well and Zacchaeus. He met people s physical needs through
some of his
Natural Gas Must Be A Hydrocarbon Fuel
Although natural gas could be a hydrocarbon fuel, the global warming emissions from
its combustion are much lower than oil.
Natural gas emits 50 to 60 % less greenhouse gas. Considering only tailpipe
emissions, natural gas additionally emits 15 to 20 % less heat trapping gases than oil
when burned in today s typical vehicle
Emissions from smokestacks and tailpipes, however, don t tell the complete story.
The drilling and extraction of natural gas from wells and its transportation in
pipelines, ends up in the leakage of methane, a way more potent global warming gas
than carbon dioxide. Preliminary studies and field measurements show that these
questionable fugitive methane emissions vary from 1 to 9 % of total life cycle
emissions.
Whether natural gas has lower life cycle greenhouse gas emissions than oil depends
on the assumed leakage rate, the global warming potential of methane over different
time frames, the energy conversion efficiency, and different factors
Cleaner burning than different fossil fuels, the combustion of natural gas produces
negligible amounts of sulfur, mercury, and particulates. Burning natural gas will
manufacture nitrogen oxides, that are precursors to smog, however at lower levels
than oil and diesel used for motorcars.
However, despite these advantages, unconventional gas development will have an
effect on native and regional air quality. Some areas where drilling happens have
experienced increases in concentrations of unsafe air pollutants
Incompetence Is Considered An Effective Employee
If an employee has been guilty of serious misconduct, habitual neglect of duty,
incompetence or conduct incompatible with his duties, or prejudicial to the employer
s business, or if he has been guilty of willful disobedience to the employer s orders in
a matter of substance, the law recognizes the employer s right summarily to dismiss
the delinquent employee.
This definition of just cause, which was set in 1967 by the Ontario Court of Appeal,
continues to be referred to today. When just cause is proved, an employee can be
dismissed without notice or compensation. Just cause can be defined as, employee
conduct that amounts to a fundamental breach of the employment contract. Just cause
can be found through any one of the following ... Show more content on

The employer may even input a program to assist the employee in increasing their
performance.
Unionized or tenured employees are a special case when it comes to being able to
dismiss an incompetent employee. For example, a professor, who has tenure, fits the
special case of an employee who has worked for numerous years in the position and is
then seemingly guaranteed the job for life. College administrators frequently claim
that faculty tenure prevents them from adapting the curriculum more effectively to
accommodate changes in the economy and to the patterns of student demand. Which
is why some commentators, of course, welcome the collapse of the tenure system,
saying tenure provides job security for indolent and incompetent professors. 4
Situations as above, makes people question why professors with tenure are able to
get away with being incompetent, but other employees need to be careful and avoid it.
The current precedent case in Canada acting as the authority in situations of
dismissal on grounds of incompetence can be found in the Manitoba Court of Queen
s Bench ruling of Boulet v. Federated Co operatives Limited; the decision delivered
June 25th, 2001. This case became known for establishing the set of criteria in which
Biblical Allusions In The Film The Knowing
The director of The Knowing is trying to show/explain the cycle of the human
existence by demonstrating how one world ends and another is created in the
likeness of the old one. One obvious way he shows us is by natural disasters that
occur, as we can see in the film the ocean levels rises causing floods to form and
sweep across New York City. The second demonstration is how the TV starts to
become more static as signals start to fail as they are demolished by meteors. A
symbol that stands out as symbolic is anarchy as it shows society starts becoming
more corrupted for the struggle of survival by fighting against each other and turning
against the government. Two biblical allusions that are shown in The Knowing are

Analysis Of Pop Art Of Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol s 2 D silkscreen print, Sitting Bull, is a very popular and controversial
print from his series Cowboys and Indians. The print is representational, based on
an original archival photo of the Sioux Chief, Sitting Bull. In the original
photograph and print, the Chief is posing for a headshot photo, with a calm facial
expression and stance. The chief has two long braids to both sides of his head and
a feather on his head. In the print, the artist chose to make the chief s skin light
blue, his dress bright red, his hair and braids dark blue, and his shape is outlined in
yellow, white and blue, drawing attention to the subject. As for most of Warhol s
Pop style pieces, the photo was redesigned by the artist to be printed in vivid colors
and showcases a lightly colored outline of his body and shape, giving the original
photo a modern touch. The artist s work was printed using the silkscreen printing
process on a 36 inch by 36 inch Lenox Museum Board paper (Sitting Bull 376,
2016). Sitting Bull is great representation of the artist s famous style. Warhol was a
very successful illustrator and designer in New York City before he and other
artists developed the concept of Pop art, the style in which he is popular for, and
the style he chose to recreate Sitting Bull (Andy Warhol Biography, 2016). Pop art
is a modern style of art in which the subject matter is commonplace objects and
people of everyday life, seeking to elevate the culture of the time and straying away

Genotypes In Children
Phenotypes driven by DNA from passing of traits from parent to offspring. Before
children are born, they receive half of their traits from their mother and the other half
from their father. That is why the child may have their father s nose and their mother
s eye shape. Other traits could include eye color, hair color, hair texture, weight, and
skin color. Different combinations of traits may cause offspring to appear different
from their parents. However, the majority of traits inherited from parents will be the
same. There are other things that you do not inherit from parent inherited traits.
These are traits that from what the offspring learn or are caused by the environment.

Attitude Of Fate In Macbeth
In William Shakespeare s Macbeth, the idea of fate is ubiquitous. In the first act,
Shakespeare introduces the audience to the three witches, whose ominous prophecies
set the tone for the dark play and suggest that fortune will be a mainstay in the work.
Throughout the novel, the protagonist, Macbeth, consistently challenges and defies
fate as he pleases. His irreverent attitude toward fortune is highlighted when he says,
Come fate into the list, / and champion me to th utterance! (3.1. 74 75). In this case,
Macbethrefers to the fate concerning Banquo s sons, and he brazenly declares that he
will fight against it to the limit. He carries this attitude throughout the play, showing
no respect toward fate by acting upon it instead of letting... Show more content on

Macbeth displays his irreverent attitude toward fortune when he attempts to seize
the kingship from Duncan, rather than allowing fortune to take its own course. He
says that people will not suspect that he killed Duncan When we have marked with
blood those two of his own chamber and used their very daggers (1.7. 82 83).
According to this quotation, Macbeth plans to blame Duncan s murder on the
guards of the chamber. This course of action is rash and dangerous, as it would be
very difficult for one to murder the king and successfully frame the guards when
other nobles are on the premises and able to inspect the crime scene. But, driven by
his desire to seize his fate, Macbeth follows through with such a dangerous plan,
regardless of its possible repercussions. Unfortunately for Macbeth, his rash actions
have negative consequences. When he attempts to clarify the events of the murder,
his explanation is met with some skepticism, especially from Macduff. Macbeth s
shady explanation of the murder sparks doubt within some of the nobles. This initial
doubt is what eventually blossoms into full blown rebellion against the tyrannical
Macbeth. Hence, Macbeth s inane murder constitutes a rash action upon his fate, an
action that eventually leads to his fall from power and death. Macbeth continues to
act upon and challenge fate when he remembers that Banquo s children are also
destined to claim the throne. He realizes, No son of mine succeeding. If t be so,
/ For Banquo s issue I have filed my mind (3.1. 68 69) and says, Rather than so, come

Macbeth acknowledges that with no son of mine succeeding, he has essentially
What Is The Scarlet Ibis Essay
The Scarlet Ibis Essay I did not know then that pride is a wonderful, terrible thing, a
seed that bears two vines, life and death James Hurst, The Scarlet Ibis. Pride is a
beautiful creature that accumulates within everyone in many different ways, for
many different reasons. Pride can be something that can make you strive to do what
you thoughtwas impossible, unthinkable. It could also leave you in a state of
arrogance and self indulgence, instead of driving you to do better for your own self
and instead you do something to put other people down, to act out of envy and
jealousy rather than out of kind hearted nature. How is pride connected to the story of
the Scarlet Ibis? The narrator of the story let pride get this vice grip around him and
refrain his thoughts and beliefs from what he knew was right. Which is why the

West Des Moines Structural Architecture
West Des Moines holds a wide range of structural appearances that possess different
purposes and stand for different ideas. Variation sets buildings and its surrounding
areas that are privately owned apart from those that are open to the public. Although,
the significance behind structures may go into deeper meanings. Some hold specific
purposes that involve religion while others stand to serve on more secular grounds. If
we take the time to look around, we can discover how interior and exterior design
conveys distinct meaning. By entering into these buildings, we may discover the

The interior and exterior features set these types of buildings apart from others.
The City Hall serves as a control institution in the city of West Des Moines,
managing many areas of importance. Buildings, like this, are where a sort of elite
power controls some sort of economic, social, or political role in society. Therefore,
a structure like this is classified as a centralized source of power in the community.
Architecture under this category typically holds structural uniformity, is surrounded
by flagpoles, has organized landscape directing to the main entrance, and water
features. The West Des Moines city hall has all of these common features included
presence that is similarly found in other governmental connected architectural
structures. Outside of the West Des Moines City Hall, there are three specific flag
poles to signify West Des Moines (on the left), The United States (in the middle), and
the State of Iowa (on the right). Looking at the flags that appear near the entrance
help recognize that this building as an important structure in not only Iowa but West
Des Moines community itself. Meanwhile, the building itself has a focal point
entrance, with symmetrical characteristics. Centralized control within this type of
economic organization requires software, security, systematic arrangement, record
keeping, and uniformity found in the architectural composition. The key elements
associated with the interior aspects of the City Hall structure primarily deals with
record keeping to ensure an organized system. Office spaces, filing cabinets, and a
multitude of technological devices are necessary to have throughout the entire
building. A largely connected technology network along with file cabinets help store

Narrative Essay On Bullies In School
The five big bullies of the school had found a big hole at the back of the classroom
underneath a loose floorboard. They hid everything in the hole, they thought only
they knew about it and that their punch bag wouldn t know a thing, but I had taken
to hiding from them, one day behind the teacher s desk when they lifted up the
floor board and examined their trophies. One day as I was waiting to ask the teacher
how to do a very complicated maths problem that I had seen, the bullies opened up
the floorboard, they found a dead mouse. Thwaites took it out by its tail and waved
it in front of his friend s faces. What shall we do with it? he cried. Throw it out of
the window quick. Someone shouted. Don t be such a wimp Malfoy! Dolohov
prowled around the classroom. I know exactly what to do with it. He seized me by
the collar round my shirt, away from the safety in the shadows. This one here
could slip it into one of Mrs Pratchett s jars of sweets? Then when she puts her dirty
hand in to grab a handful, she ll grab a stinky dead mouse instead? The other four
started at Dolohov in wonder. They all started grinning. They slapped Dolohov on
the back. We ll do it today! they cried. We ll do it on the way home! Ha I wonder
what the pea brain is thinking. indicating me Rowle took the mouse from Dolohov
and put it in his trouser pocket. Then the six of us left the school and went towards
the sweet shop... We walked up the road towards the sweet shop, but I lingered
behind. I really didn t wantto do this. The road was empty apart from a crunchie
wrapper; probably from Mrs Pratchett s shop, I swallowed. Even though it was only
4 o clock, it was already going dark. My shoes felt like lead as I trudged along.
Maybe I could just stay here, they wouldn t notice until later. Alas, Hurry up!
barked Dolohov staring at me with those piercing green eyes. I sighed. After what
seemed like such a short time, we reached the sweet shop. Malfoy forcefully
pushed open the door. Rowle took the mouse and pressed it into my hand so I could
feel its soft fur and the tickling from its whiskers. I stared at the open door, it was a
pale cream with a round window near the top, the whole door was streaked with dirt.
I was

  • 1. Synthesis Example Essay Crafting a synthesis example essay can be a challenging endeavor that demands a combination of critical thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication. The difficulty lies not only in gathering information from various sources but also in synthesizing those diverse ideas into a cohesive and well-structured piece. To begin with, the process involves extensive research to gather relevant data from a variety of sources, which could include academic articles, books, research papers, and more. The challenge is not just in the quantity but also in the quality of the sources selected. It requires a discerning eye to choose reputable and reliable materials that contribute to the overall credibility of the essay. Once the information is collected, the synthesis process itself is intricate. Weaving together different viewpoints, theories, or arguments from disparate sources requires careful consideration and a deep understanding of the subject matter. The ability to identify connections, patterns, and overarching themes is crucial to developing a well-integrated synthesis. Furthermore, the synthesis example essay must have a clear and logical structure. Arranging the information in a manner that flows smoothly and supports the thesis statement can be demanding. Balancing the inclusion of key points from each source while maintaining the essay's coherence poses a significant challenge. Additionally, the essay must reflect your voice as a writer. Another author by the name of Fleming points out that there were several factors that affect the achievement and retention of Black Students, who were in predominantly White institutions (PWIs). Many of these students especially Black males, exist in social isolation on predominantly White campuses. She also states Blacks lack interpersonal relationships that foster academic and career achievement. Fleming concludes, must therefore find constructive means of encouraging helpful peer contact rather than mutual avoidance (p.156). • 5. Rousseau s Influence On America We all know the story of America. British citizens irritated with their overbearing government left Europe for North America on the Mayflower, where they met the natives, learned how to grow corn thanks to the natives, celebrated the first Thanksgiving, threw some tea into the ocean that once guided them to solace, eventually cut ties with England, and wrote the documents that solidified the country we know and love today, nearly 300 years later. But most Americans do not know the influence Europehad on America s beginnings, particularly works of the philosophes. It is more fiction than fact that James Madison was the sole mover of the Constitution; Jean Jacques Rousseau was the true great weaver of webs. If Madison and Adams were the Framers,... After dividing religion into three forms, the religion of man, which is personal, the religion of the citizen, which is public, and the third, including Christianity, which he criticizes, has two competing systems of laws, namely state and religion. The concept of a separation between church and state is a hallmark of American government. This theory obviously inspired the first Amendment, which details the freedom of expression, whether it be religious preference, dissent, sexual preference, and so on. The right of practicing any religion and the separation of church and state is protected in this Amendment to the Constitution and explicitly detailed in this quotation. Rousseau then continues to outline the dogmas of civil religion, which ought to be few, simple, and exactly worded, without explanation or commentary (73). This truly applies to the American translation of Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof (Amend.
  • 6. The Importance Of Water In Southwest Kansas Living in Southwest Kansas there is always a need for water no matter what it is for. The importance of water in Kansas is getting dramatic due to the Ogallala Aquifer shrinking in size on a daily basis. There are thousands of things that can possibly go wrong because of our diminishing water supply. The impact that water has on our town is significant, hundreds of possible predicaments can occur because we would no longer have the aquifer, however, there are many ways we can prolong our water supplylife in our generation that we are currently living. Small communities in Southwest Kansasrely on our water supply heavily. We have many uses for the water everyone uses on a regular basis. On a regular basis occupants are using water in order to water their grass and gardens, everyone needs water in order to survive, and farmers rely on water for their crops. The impact that water has on Southwest occupants is enormous. Without our water supply Kansas would slowly die out having to leave in order to find sources... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A few options would have to be considered to limit the use of water no matter where anyone lives in order to delay the complete depletion of our water supply. A simple start would be to start limiting water usage in homes. People are guilty all over Kansas area of taking twenty to thirty minute showers which is completely unnecessary. Cutting the length of showers to once a day and a fraction of that shower time would save millions of gallons of water expeditiously. Another valid option would be to consider the amount of water used to water household yards. Yes, everyone wants a luscious front yard with healthy trees and a beautiful garden but the use of water can be regulated to help save. Hundreds of gallons of water are used in towns every where in order to make their grass green again. It is beautiful but the water can be shaved down in order to
  • 7. Elon Musk And Its Impact On The Planet Within every generation, there are some individuals who transcend expectations and seek to innovate beyond all preconceived boundaries. Elon Musk is one of those individuals, and he s currently valued at $11.9 billion. But how did this South African born entrepreneur make his way into virtually every technological industry on the planet? How did he become the space traveling, futuristic car selling, loudmouthed computer genius we all know today? Elon Musk took an interest in computing and innovation from a very young age. By his thirteenth birthday, he had already taught himself programming, constructed a complex space themed computer game, and sold it to a large corporation. After moving to the United States and earning a bachelor degrees in Economics and Physics from the University of Pennsylvania, Musk moved on to Stanford University in attempt to earn his PhD in energy physics. What follows is a tremendous rise to success. Taking a look at exactly what happened, what struggles and what successes this man endured, we are in turn able to learn valuable lessons on hard work, innovation, and life itself. Here are the most powerful takeaways from Elon Musk s life, as said in his own words: When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor. Musk never did complete that PhD at Stanford. After only two days, he decided to drop out and pursue his passions in the fields of energy, technology and space travel. Had he been afraid of

  • 9. The Hebrews Are A Covenant Oriented Demographic The Hebrews are a Covenant oriented demographic. Their holy book is the Torah and as defined by God for the Torah there are six Covenants to follow these would include: Abrahamic, Mosaic, Priestly, Davidic, and the New Covenant. The main question pertains to the fact of how faithful were the Hebrews And God to these Covenants. Another thought is to how did these Covenants separate the Hebrews from their surrounding neighbors? Can these covenants be applied to daily life and resound on a personal level in 2016 as well?I firmly believe that the covenants can provide a peace of mind for those that are willing to accept the Scriptures and apply them to be a more ethical and morally sound person. The six Covenants define Hebrew law and give a basis for how the current population of Jewish people follows and practice their religion. The first Covenant is the Abrahamic covenant this is defined in Genesis chapters 12 through 13. In Genesis 12 and 15, God grants Abraham land and descendants. This Covenant states that to make of Abraham a great nation and bless Abraham and make his name great so that he will be a blessing, to bless those who bless him and curse him who curses him and all peoples on earth would be blessed through Abraham. To give Abraham s descendants all the land from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates, this is now known as Israel. To make Abraham the father of many nations and of many descendants and give the whole land of Canaan to his

In order to balance the body weight, the organizing energy of the nervous system will cause the spinal muscles involved to relax and other spinal muscles to contract. This will result in the correction and the repositioning of the spine relative to the
  • 13. Jenaro Villamil Injustices occur everyday in the world. We tend to witness injustices on a daily basis, some of them are unnoticeable, but the ones that we do notice and we can t do anything about, makes us feel impotent. That is what this tragic and unjust event made me feel, and in Guerrero, Mexico, that is how the families of this 43 kidnapped students still feel. Nos faltan 43 (we are still missing 43), They took them alive, we want them back alive were some of the phrases that Mexico used in their strikes to unify as a nation against the corrupt government. The poem BuscГЎbamos a 43 (We were looking for 43) by Jenaro Villamil, expresses the perspective of the Mexican people. This poem presents the tragedy with a melancholic tone. This has not been the first time that violent injustices occurred in Mexico, but this poem shows how this event led the mexican people to realize in the violence and horror they live. Jenaro Villamil starts off the poem with the line ВїCuГЎnto horror seremos capaces de conocer? (1), which translates to, how much horror will we be capable of knowing?, this expresses how much horror they have already experienced. This source doesn t include any specific facts or dates about the tragedy, because it is a poem, but it does introduce how the students are seen by Mexico, as young humble victims. The lines that I was more impacted by that Jenaro Villamil says are: Porque aГєn con ellos vivos, sanos, salvos o heridos / No podemos callar A los olvidados que sembramos, which means, because even with them alive, safe and sound, or wounded, we cannot remain silent for the forgotten that we sowed. This segments of the poem represent the reason why the mexican people protested, and keep protesting up to now, because even though there are no signs of their bodies, they represent a part of the forgotten, who they are willing to still fight

Employee reward systems refer to programs set up by a company to reward performance and motivate employees on individual and/or group levels. They are normally considered separate from salary but may be monetary in nature or otherwise have a cost to the company. Some companies choose to pay their employees less than competitors but attempt to motivate and reward employees using a variable pay program instead. Though employees should be made to stretch, the goals must be within reach. BONUSES Bonus programs have been used in American business for some time. They usually reward individual accomplishment and are frequently used in sales organizations to encourage salespersons to generate additional business or higher profits. They can also be used, however, to recognize group accomplishments. Indeed, increasing numbers of businesses have switched from individual bonus programs to one which reward contributions to corporate performance at group, departmental, or company wide levels. According to some experts, small businesses interested in long term benefits should probably consider another type of reward. Bonuses are generally short term motivators. By rewarding an employee s performance for the previous year, say critics, they encourage a short term perspective rather than future oriented accomplishments. In addition, these programs need to be

An object thats gravitational fields are too strong for anything, even light, to escape was first thought of in the 18th century. John Michell first wrote about a massive body with these features in a letter to Henry Cavendish of the Royal Society in 1783. The letter says: In the year 1796, French mathematician Pierre Simon Laplace had the same thoughts in the first and second editions of his book Exposition du systГЁme du Monde. What he had called dark stars were ignored in the 19th century, because the idea that light was affected by gravity was unfathomable. In 1915, the great German mathematician, Albert Einstein, developed his own theory of general relativity. This showed that gravity does in fact influence light s motion. Within a few months of releasing his theory, Karl Schwarzschild had found the solution to Einstein s equations. The solution describes the gravitational field of a point mass and of a spherical mass. A couple months after Schwarzschild s discoveries, Johannes Droste had by himself given the same solution, but had written more extensively on its properties. In the year of 1931, the Indian astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar used special relativity to calculate that a non rotating body of electron degenerate matter above the

The Andean individuals believed that all inanimate objects were thus animated. This ideology not only influenced the way they thought about the world, but also the way they treated and viewed the body. The body is a very important and useful theme in archeology as the body acts as a metaphor for society, the way a society/culturetreats the body provides vital important regarding their worldview. In addition, the body is a tool of lived experience which can indicate how individuals lived, what was sacred or important to them and also shedding light on who they were. In other words, by understanding how bodies were conceptualized in Andean societies archeologist can indicate the significance of certain ritualpractices. It is important to deconstruct the body as it provides social truths regarding a specific culture within the Andean region. Furthermore, people do things to their bodies which may help archeologists understand their belief system, the practices/work they may have been doing. • 23. Abuse Of Children In William Blake s The Chimney Sweeper Beginning in the 1670s children were often used as chimney sweeps in England. After the Great Fire of London, new building regulations were designed to keep the city safer. Fireplaces were required to be built a certain way, with narrower chimneys; and it became more important to ensure that the chimneys were free of obstruction after a liberal amount of usage. Since the chimneyswere so cramped, this task was given to children, the only people petite enough to fit inside the chimneys. Most of the children who were chimneysweeps were often orphans who were apprenticed to a Master Sweep who would be their boss and take care of them. Consequently, during this time period, the terrible abuse of children as chimney sweeps became widespread. William Blake was an author during this time period who realized how horrible the chimney sweeping industry was. Blake was so disgusted with the industry that he wrote two poems about it, one in Songs of Innocence and another in Songs of Experience. In Songs of Experience, William Blake s The Chimney Sweeper uses a critical tone of society to give a voice to social groups who did not have the ability to use their voices. The Chimney Sweeper begins with a man spotting a child in the snow. The child s parents are away at church, making him stay in the cold to work and earn more money for the family. In line one of the poem when the man who spots the chimney sweep refers to the child as a black thing . While the black refers to the soot that covers this child s body, black is often recognized as a color that symbolizes death. Hence, when the chimney sweep mentions snow again, and says they clothed me in the clothes of death, the reader identifies the contrast between the white snow and the dark child. The snow symbolizes the innocence of childhood, while the dark child represents the darkness of child labor. When Blake says, and are gone to praise God his priest King God and his Priest symbolize the church, and the King symbolizes the monarchy. He criticizes the importance of religious obligations that the parents are more concerned with, rather than their child who is freezing, alone in the snow. Subsequently, the sweeper concludes by saying God and his priest

The reality of the used car market is that even clunkers can cost a few thousand dollars and that s exactly the type of vehicle you want to avoid. However, with some careful research on your part, much patience, as well as satisfactory negotiation skills, you can find a used car for under $5,000. Here s how to do it. Manage Your Expectations You might have a certain make and model in mind when choosing a reliable, low cost used car, but your expectations should align with market realities. And those realities will be confirmed when you shop for a car, study the ads, and research the car valuation sites. First, you should know that car values fluctuate. Indeed, in times when gas prices are high, values of economical cars rise and those for large sedans, SUVs and pickup trucks drop. Conversely, the opposite happens when fuel prices are low. Second, the more particular you are about a brand, especially premium or luxury brands, the more costly a vehicle will be. Aquinas explains how we must have unbelievers in our world for religion to work and continue to grow. Catholics are all called to evangelize, and this helps others get to know God and his wonderous deeds. God in a sense asks us to evangelize by allowing certain evils: But God, although all powerful and supremely good, nonetheless allows some evils to take place in the universe, evils that he could prevent, lest greater goods be lost if evils were removed, or lest rightly tolerate certain evils let certain goods be prevented, or even worse evils incurred (Aquinas 193). According to this quotation, Macbeth plans to blame Duncan s murder on the guards of the chamber. This course of action is rash and dangerous, as it would be very difficult for one to murder the king and successfully frame the guards when other nobles are on the premises and able to inspect the crime scene. But, driven by his desire to seize his fate, Macbeth follows through with such a dangerous plan, regardless of its possible repercussions. Unfortunately for Macbeth, his rash actions have negative consequences. When he attempts to clarify the events of the murder, his explanation is met with some skepticism, especially from Macduff. They hid everything in the hole, they thought only they knew about it and that their punch bag wouldn t know a thing, but I had taken to hiding from them, one day behind the teacher s desk when they lifted up the floor board and examined their trophies. I stared at the open door, it was a pale cream with a round window near the top, the whole door was streaked with dirt. I was
