Susanne Popp presented on using e-research tools in the history classroom. She outlined four work steps: 1) searching, collecting, and evaluating online information; 2) working with the information by making timelines and maps; 3) communicating findings through online chats; and 4) presenting results with sources and timelines. E-researching helps students understand historical sources and perspectives while building media literacy. It also allows international collaboration on history topics to foster dialogue.
