Lesson Plan – English Now Intro – CCCN

Activity´s name: “Stop and Check”

Objective:

Ss will practice basic English grammar of all topics studied in class.

Warm-up:

Each ss will work in two teams, 1 and 2. Every team will have to decide which is the
correct order of the sentences on the board, and they will have 10 m each to go to the board
and select the correct answer. The team who spend less time answering the questions will
win.

Schema:

T will write some sentences on the board. Each sentence has a mistake. Ss will be asked to
find it and correct it.

Pre-task:

Ss will be given a practice to review all the information studied throughout the course.

Task:

Ss will pair up and work on the practice while they are called by the mentor teacher to do
the final Interview, and then the final exam.

Language Focus:

Planning: Look around and correct mistakes while ss are writing

Reporting: When they state their reasons, take notes about their mistakes and correct if
necessary

ULACIT – Professional Practicum 2011 Susannah Monge Guerrero Lesson Plan – English Now Intro – CCCN Activity´s name: “Stop and Check” Objective: Ss will practice basic English grammar of all topics studied in class. Warm-up: Each ss will work in two teams, 1 and 2. Every team will have to decide which is the correct order of the sentences on the board, and they will have 10 m each to go to the board and select the correct answer. The team who spend less time answering the questions will win. Schema: T will write some sentences on the board. Each sentence has a mistake. Ss will be asked to find it and correct it. Pre-task: Ss will be given a practice to review all the information studied throughout the course. Task: Ss will pair up and work on the practice while they are called by the mentor teacher to do the final Interview, and then the final exam. Language Focus: Planning: Look around and correct mistakes while ss are writing Reporting: When they state their reasons, take notes about their mistakes and correct if necessary
