2. With these results we can see that the people who answered the questionnaire favored the
males to females in who horror film are made for, with these results we can aim more towards
the male audience when creating a film using more masculine features in our film, maybe a
more horrific looking antagonist etc.

3. These results show that the majority of people who answered the questionnaire are
between the ages of 11-20, because we are in a college these results are to be expected
but the one result that is vastly different from the results is the one that says it’s age is 0-10
this s probably the result of a student thinking it was funny putting that result in.

4. These results are the answers to the question what is your occupation again there are
inconsistent results as the survey was only sent to students the results should be all students,
this is again a problem with the people answering the survey and not taking it seriously which
will have to be taken under consideration.

5. This results are probably the best ones as far as answers go as they all have at
least one person pick one as their favorite genre of film the majority of them
chose romance as their favorite genre with comedy and horror in a close
second this shows that a majority appreciate this type of film, and that we
have chose the more appealing genre in our task.

6. With these result we can see the majority of people enjoy the horror genre however there
is a large percentage of similar to the people who enjoy it that claim to enjoy horror films
depending on their sub-genre whether it be action or a comedy or perhaps a mix, the
remaining 16.5% of people say that they don’t enjoy horror.

7. This is a list that shows peoples favorite horror films the list is very diverse with only two film
repeating its self (Childs play and Texas chainsaw massacre) Most of the horror films that have
been said are slashers such as Texas chainsaw massacre, Saw II, Saw, Halloween, Childs play and
Friday the 13th meaning that doing a slasher would be a wise choice. But, again there are some
answers that aren’t in the horror genre such as Aladdin, Love actually, Twilight and The jungle book
these answers can just be ignored as they don’t comply with our survey.

8. This question asks which genre of horror people prefer monster or slasher which are the two
most popular sub-genres in horror as you can see by the results more than ¾ of the
participants chose monster horror over slasher horror with these results we could’ve
changed sub-genre of our film so that we could use the more popular sub-genre and be able
to have a wider a audience. Although with a low budget and no special effects for monsters,
slasher would be the best way to go.

9. These results show the popularity of certain parts of a horror film with the most popular being the
chase, the suspense, the action and the intro; with these popular choices we can tailor our film so
that it will include these parts and then have a wider audience.

10. These results are showing what antagonist the audience prefers in a horror film with the most
popular being human by a large margin we can safely use this as our antagonist in our film.

11. This final slide asks the question which sub-genre people prefer with horror again there is large
margin with action being the most popular we can implement this onto our film and use it as our
main angle with something like a chase scene in it.
