2. Introduction
• Axis bank is the third largest private sector bank in India. It offers a wide
spectrum of financial services to its customer segments covering large and
mid corporate, MSME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.
• The bank has a large footprints of 4050 domestic branches with 11801 ATMs
and 4917 cash recyclers spread across the country as on 31st March, 2019.

3. • Axis bank of india was formely known as Unti Trust Of India (UTI)
• Registered office in Ahmedabad .
• Corporate Office In Mumbai (1993)
• 2003 – 1st Indian Bank to launch travel currency card.
• 2005 – UTI bank got listed in London Stock Exchange.
• 2006 – Overseas branch in Singapore.
• 2007 – UTI bank opened a branch in the Dubai International financial centre.
• 2007 – 30th July UTI bank changed its name to Axis bank of India.

4. • To understand the operation related work of Axis Bank Ltd.
• To Understand the software used by Axis Bank Ltd. for the purpose of
executing banking services.
• To understand the work of Relationship Managers.
• To understand the cheque clearance process.

5. Responsibilities given to me in Axis bank was:
• To maintain day to day spreadsheet of LIC cheques .
• To update various registers of Axis Bank as per RBI norms.
• To go for Re-kyc updation of customer with an employee.
• To call customers and tell them about the offers on their accounts.
• To visit corporate clients of Axis Bank along with Relationship Manager.
• To interact with walk in customer and informing them to update their mail-id
with the bank.
• Tallying of vouchers.
Responsibilities

6. • The biggest challenge working here was to open up a conversation with the
customer/clients and other staff initially.
• To reduce Idle time and indulge in some or other work .
• To get to learn new things from the busy schedule of the employee.
• To deliver the work at stipulated time.
Challenges

7. • Successfully completed the calling task given to me by the deputy manager
(Operations).
• Updating the responses in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
provided in SAKSHAM software of Axis Bank, through employee ID.
• Successfully completed the Re-Kyc up-dation .
• Properly handled the walk in customers and solved their queries.
• Recommendation from Operation Head for joining Axis Bank Ltd.

8. • I got to know how to interact with the corporate clients.
• I also learned basic of using Finacle and Saksham ( banking software ).
• I got to learn the importance of Excel spreadsheet.
• Learned the importance of coordination among the organization.
• Being punctual at work and at the customer’s mentioned time is also a very
important learning which I got from there.

9. • Working at Axis Bank Ltd. was a great learning experience , although I was
operation intern , but when I got free time , I worked with other departments
to build my knowledge more .
• Moreover the employees here are humble and polite and ready to help and
guide in any situation .
• In future , I would like to work in a reputed bank like Axis Bank Ltd., I was
fully devoted hence I also received a recommendation from my Operation
Head for joining Axis Bank.
