The One Big Library Unconference was a one-day gathering hosted by York University Libraries on June 29, 2008 for librarians, library technicians, and others interested in discussing the present and future of libraries. The unconference brought people together to explore how all physical and virtual libraries could be thought of as branches of One Big Library in an interconnected world. Participants discussed the future of libraries, collaboration on building collections and services across libraries, and uses of emerging technologies.
