2. Introduction This is my digital portfolio. I will talk to you about what our class did for every subject. We did lots of stuff. We also had lots of tests this term. The lessons this term were more challenging than the 1 st term. We had a lot of deadlines for certain projects or assignment. I am very proud of myself for meeting those deadlines and not handing anything late.
3. Science We did an animation of the red blood vessels and what happens when it comes in contact with the alveoli. The Lungs Alveolus Our class did a drawing of the lungs and all the other parts of our body. We also wrote down a small description about it. We also did test about the respiratory system, digestive system, circulator system and other stuff about cells. I think I did good in some of the tests.

5. Math We learned a lot of things in math. We learned collecting data, mean, median, mode, perfect squares, percents, proportional reasoning and other lessons. I do good in most of my tests. We have a test at the end of each unit we also have quizzes. We have a test called cumulative tests. We do this test at the end of the unit also. It’s when we have a test of everything that we learned from september till the end of the unit we are at. It’s like an exam but theres only a few questions. Before we write the tests we do a review. I made some questions for you in wikispace. It shows you how to do the questions and then you answer it. We do a lot of computer work in math. We use blogger, wiki and other internet sources. We communicate to other people from different schools on what they are doing and what we are doing. We do scribes and other blog work. Scribes are suppose to post up what we did in class that day. I was once a scribe and I made it into the Scribe Hall Of Fame.

11. Language Arts This term in Language Arts was really fun and quite busy. We had major projects such as the literary term, famous birthdays and reading responses. I did well this term, better than the last term. My marks went up a bit and I was glad. Next term I will work harder. On the next couple of slides I will talk to you about what we do in Language Arts. I will also show you my goals for next term and what I have to do to achieve it.
12. Language Arts Cont’d We did a lot of writing this term. We also read a lot. Our class read a book called The Outsiders. It was a really good book. Mr. McLean, our teacher, gave us question sheets for every chapter. We had to answer it after we finished reading. We were suppose to do a project about it. The project could be a scrap book or a news article but it got cancelled because we didn’t have time to do it. When we finished the book, we watched the movie of it. It was kind of boring because in the movie they skipped half of the book. About the book: This book is about a bunch of kids who are in a gang called the greaser and they just want to be normal. There’s this other gang called Socs. Socs are white rich people who hates greasers. The greasers live in the other side of the city and the socs. live at the other end. The main characters are Pony boy, Dally, Johnny, Dallas, Soda pop. This is a very good book about heroism and being an outsider.

14. Language Arts Reading Response I am very weak when it comes to writing reading responses. I have a lot of trouble relating to the book. I try my best though. I didn’t really write many reading responses and that’s one of the things I need to improve in next term. We we’re suppose to write a reading response after we have a reading period but I always put it off. I’ll try to do it next term. My Best Reading Response
15. French We had a lot of tests in french. In term one I did really bad on them. They were easy tests but I didn’t study enough to get the mark that I wanted. In the beginning of term two I also did bad on my tests but as we went on I studied and I passed some of the tests. We did an oral this term. The oral was kind of easy. I only studied a little bit and I forgot some stuff. We had to read it infront of Mr.R. and he would ask us questions after.l answered most of the questions but I sort of forgot some. Next term I will do better on my tests and other orals.

20. Extra Curricular I joined cross country this term and I also joined volleyball. I played for the Junior Two Tier 2. I played with the Junior 1 during the playoffs and the city champs.We won against Stanley Knowles. It was a really close game. We had an assembly after and Thyrza May Toledo and I got citizenship I’am a library assistant too. I help put away the books in the shelf. I miss some days sometimes but it was okay. We get free pizza at the end of the year also..
21. Behaviour and Conduct I help people when they need help. I try my absolute best to answer their question. I find different ways of how to get the answers for example in math, I show them 3 different ways how to get the answer. I take my time when I do my work. I put a lot of effort into it. Before I hand work in I double check to see if there are any mistakes made. I make a rough draft first then I edit it and I make the final copy after. I am very organized. I don’t really use my agenda all the time but I get my work hand in on time. Next term I’ll try to use my agenda more. My binder is also neat and organized.
