Anisha evaluates her performance in various subjects for the fourth term. She received an A grade in math, literacy, Spanish, art, homework, and Poutama. She enjoyed learning decimals in math and doing poetry in writing. In art, she made stained glass windows. For homework, she enjoyed fun projects. In Poutama, she made microwave pudding and rockets. She received an A grade in PE and enjoyed learning new sports and dances. For speeches, she got to the semi-finals and built confidence. Poetry was challenging but she learned about structures. Her goal for next term is to focus harder on her work.

Maths: This term for maths we have been
learning about decimals and I think I have

learnt a lot about decimals that I never
knew about.
In class for maths we have been doing
geometry and I have understood and
learnt a lot about thing like rotation,
translations, reflection and etc.
Literacy including For spelling we have learning practicing
reading, writing, spelling
and own reading:

Spanish: I have learnt and memorized a lot of
Spanish words and fully understand the

basics of Spanish.
Art: For art with Mrs Irwin, we made stain
glass windows. Not actual glass but with

paper. It looks really good but I need to
make sure that I don't do anything
complicated because I am apparently
struggling to cut my pattern out with a
craft knife.
Homework: include For homework we have been doing really
maths,
enjoyable homework projects like how we

fun.
2. Poutama: I have enjoyed making microwave
pudding and it's a simple thing to make at
home.
I made a lot of mistakes and learnt from

them and I know what to make sure when
I make it again.
In hard materials with Mr Fowler, we
made rockets using materials such as
tape paper and cardboard. Next time time
a need to make sure that I seal my parts
of my rocket properly because when the it
releases from the pump and then when
it's flying the air would come out from the
unsealed parts of the rocket.
P.E. and Sport: I enjoyed doing P.E this term it was really
different if you compare it to other terms.
Effort: A B C D
We didn't really focus on one particularly
sport. Instead we have been changing
every time. As for one week we did
orienteering then the next we playing this
Maori game that Miss Griffin taught us.
Dancing: including jump I really enjoyed dancing this term and
jam
Effort: A B C D have learnt quite a lot of new dances that
I didn't do last year like all around around
my hat and uno, dos, tres.
I also really enjoyed learning the
Gangnam Style and never thought we
would be learning a dance like that song.
Speeches: For speeches we had to choose a
suitable topic that would relate to the topic

persuasive writing. I really learnt a lot
about persuasive writing and I was so
pleased that I got into the semi finals.
I think that doing speeches built my
confidence up and I learnt a lot of thing
about when speaking.
3. Poetry: This term we have done two different
types of poems which are sonnets and

pet peeves. They were both really
challenged compared to haikus and
limerick but I still enjoyed it and learnt
heaps about the structure etc.

I improved a lot with my confidence. I think that with
performance and speeches has encourage me to speak
more.
A goal for next term is to:
To really focus hard on my work and not get distracted.
