1. Story-telling Reflection
My Story is called Ninjas vs. Skeletons.
The Planning Phase:
I chose to write a fantasy/adventure genre because I like these stories and my
favourite movie is called Alice in Wonderland.The most interesting thing about
my main character is that hefight a lot of ways to the end of the world. I
enjoyed creating the setting because it was an interesting thing to do.While
making my plot diagram, I found it difficult to think and write about the parts
of the story.My best idea during planning was making the character
smarter.While planning this story I learned that how is it is fun to be a writer.
The Drafting Phase:
It was difficult to write my story because it was hard to use the words to write
properly. I am proud of my story because I am going to put it on the website so
all people can see.During the Writing Workshops, I became better at using
dialogue to make my writing interesting.If I wrote it again, I would improve my
story by using the different sentences.
The Digital Phase:
I am proud of my movie because it is good and awesome.I found it easy to
create the storyboard becauseIt was easy to draw the pictures.My role was to
be the script illustrator.I worked especially hard because I was the artist and it
was hard to draw them well.The thing I am most happy with is the character is
that the character is calledKazuki.While making the movie, I learned many new
technology skills in iMovie. I became much better at knowing things in the
program. If I made the movie again, I would try to make it happy and sad
movie.
Collaboration:
Sometimes, I enjoyed group work because they listened and focused.Other
times, I didn’t enjoy group work because they do not know what to do.While
working in a group, I learned to be a good listener to each person.During the
unit, our group became better at being nice and acting good.
What else?
I enjoyed this unit a lot. After this unit, I would like to do it again.
