PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I survey and install both commercial and domestic water meters on behalf of
United Utilities.
This involves both the exchangeand upgradeof existing meters, to new
installations on new build sites acrossthe North West. This involves working
alongside all the major house builders, as well as major commercial
construction companieson new retail units and industrialbuilds.
I hold a valid CSCS SHEA (Water) Networkcard.
July2009 – July 2014 Dyno Plumbing - TeamManager
As manager of a busy plumbing franchise, I was responsiblefor a team of 15
engineers providing 24 hour on-callresponse to British Gas Homecare
customer’sfresh water and waste water emergencies. I provided technical
supportfor the field based engineers and office staff, including out of hours
contact, providing initial phone advice, often leading to site visits. This included
technical advice for maintenanceissues such as specialized replacement parts
for sanitary appliances, to surveying major works such as water supply pipe
replacement and installation.
With responsibility for business development and sales, targets were achieved
through mentoring and coaching engineersto develop their customer
interaction skills in order to help them to promoteand develop the ‘Dyno’
brand imageand awareness. In 2011, wewere awarded “Franchiseof the Year”
for business growth and development.
My previous business experience allowed me to develop my rolein order to
generate further revenueand profitfor the business by exceeding customers’
expectations and providing a first class service from initial planning to final
fitting and after care. This includes the provision of home visits to advise and
assist customers with choosing appliances, as well as bathroom and kitchen

developed excellent business relationships with several letting agents to service
and maintain their portfolios. Thisextended to tenants to whom I provided a

I owned and operated a thriving retail business for over 12 years, providing an
extensive rangeof animalfeeds and pet supplies on both a retail and wholesale
basis. I sourced and developed excellent relationships with importersand
merchants, and had sole responsibility for all aspects of the business, including
calculating profitmargins, sales and marketing, business growth, and absolute
fiscal and legal responsibility.

Having progressed from sales advisor to general manager, myduties included
operationalresponsibility for the day to day running of a thriving multi-site

supplier relationships, meeting sales targets, introducing a new stock control
process and customer service.
As a frontline manager in a customer facing role at all five sites, I took pridein
