1. Qualitative Analysis (Job Analysis):
Job analysis is a study of job content to
determine human requirements
i. Job Description: is the study of the job
duties and responsibilities to determine human
abilities required for execution
ii. Job Specification: is the study of the
minimum acceptable human qualities necessary to
perform a job properly

It means to ensure a fair
number of personnel in each
department and at each level

Identification of different sources of
personnel and stimulating them to
apply for jobs in the organization

Process of choosing and
appointing the right persons for
various jobs

Placement refers to putting the right person on the right
job. Orientation means introducing every selected
employee to his fellow employees

improve knowledge, skill and
attitudes of managers and
employees

It is a systematic way of
evaluating a worker’s performance
and his potential for development

Promotion means movement of an

A compensation plan that is fair
and equitable to all employees, has to
be designed with due consideration
for work involved and skills required.
