The Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale: Fifth Edition (SB5) is a standardized test used to assess intelligence and cognitive abilities in individuals ages 2 to 85. It measures five factors of intelligence: fluid reasoning, knowledge, quantitative reasoning, visual-spatial processing, and working memory. The SB5 takes around an hour to administer and provides scores on 10 subtests, 4 composite domains, and a Full Scale IQ score with a mean of 100 and standard deviation of 15. It is a widely used and reliable measure of intelligence.
