Why am I born?
Why am I saved?
Why am I here
on earth?
Why am I in
this DGC?
Purpose - ask the question WHY?
PURPOSE
What does God want you
to be? to do?
Who am I
becoming?
Am I fulfilling
God’s Purpose
in my life?
VISION
Vision - ask the question WHAT?
 Are we a blessing to our family members?
 Can we minister to those in need in our DGs?
 Do we stand in the gap for the church and the nation?
 Are we doing meaningful work that draws out
our strengths, talents and gifting with the consequent
compensation and benefits in the workplace?
 Do we have a ministry that flows from our strengths,
talents and gifting?
DGC - PURPOSE-VISION
DGC - PURPOSE-VISION
These are questions
of what should flow
OUT of our lives
to impact others!
DGC - Purpose-Vision
 Do we desire to grow to know
God more?
 Are we easily offended?
 Are we becoming more like Jesus?
 Are we growing strong spiritually?
DGC - Purpose-Vision
 Do we have strong marriages and
family relationships?
 Are we filled with the Spirit?
 Are we filled with the Word?
 Do we know our strengths and
giftings?
DGC - Purpose-Vision
 Are we equipped to:
 learn to pray;
 share the Word;
 lead someone to Christ;
 do the work of ministry.
DGC - Purpose-Vision
These are questions
of what should
flow IN
our lives
in order
to bless
others!
DGC - Purpose-Vision

whose Head is the Lord Jesus Christ,
whose Help is the Holy Spirit
whose Focus is the Great Commission
to the glory of God the Father.

of a DGC #1
The Greatest Commandment:
LOVE God with our whole-being.
Mark 12:30 And you shall love
the LORD Your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, with all your mind,
and with all your strength.
This is the first commandment.
Foundational Pursuit
of a DGC #1
The Greatest Commandment:
LOVE God with our whole-being.
1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but
that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation
for our sins.
1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.
Foundational Pursuit of a DGC #1
Personal Application
Our daily devotion
 To partake of His Word.
 To grow our Prayer-Communion.

your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment
greater than these.”
Foundational Pursuit of a DGC #2
LOVE our brothers
1 John 4:20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his
brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom
he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Foundational Pursuit of a DGC #2
LOVE our brothers
1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love for one
another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins”.
Foundational Pursuit of a DGC #2
LOVE our brothers
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you
love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one
another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you
have love for one another.”
Foundational Pursuit of a DGC #2
LOVE our brothers
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and
spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been
given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that
I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
