3. Jesus prays for the sanctification and dedication of his disciples as he sends them into the world on their mission, so that through their work the world may believe God sent Jesus.

The overall message is that God has given each person a business to manage and wants them to do so wisely for His glory.
Caesar Augustus decreed a census that required Joseph to travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem to register. While in Bethlehem, Mary gave birth to Jesus and placed him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn. Shepherds in the fields were visited by an angel announcing Jesus' birth. They found Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus lying in the manger as the angel had described. The shepherds then spread the word about what they had witnessed.
The document discusses whether passages about God's dealings with ancient Israel apply to modern nations. It notes God previously focused on national repentance but now focuses on individual repentance. The key points are:
1) It's difficult to know if God is blessing or cursing a modern nation for its actions.
2) God now adds people to the church rather than dealing directly with nations.
3) Christians should focus on their own and neighbors' salvation and shining God's light, not broader judgments of nations.

It notes that 1 Corinthians 15 discusses the resurrection of individuals, while Revelation 21 discusses the new creation and resurrection of all. It contrasts the perishable, dishonorable, weak natural bodies of our current state with the imperishable, glorious, powerful spiritual bodies we will have in the future. When Human beings accept responsibility as Heaven’s Citizens and God’s representatives in the earth, HE makes himself strong on their behalf.
HIS WILL is clear, we must line up to do it, and everything about US will be God’s priority.
Everything got started in Him, and finds it’s purpose in Him –Col 1:16bOur lives only begin to make meaning and find purpose when we connect our lives with the one who died to give us His life. All of our lives placements and achievements are God’s platforms of expressions. We have been given a platform, a unique position in society. We are meant to use it consciously to do our God given assignment

This document provides a summary of a sermon given on warnings against the prosperity gospel based on 1 Timothy 6:3-19. The sermon discusses how false teachers in the Ephesus church were teaching that godliness could be used as a means to financial gain, known as the prosperity gospel. It outlines some key characteristics of this false teaching, including a confusion between Old and New Testament promises, an emphasis on earthly rather than eternal rewards, and the idea that positive confession can manipulate God. The sermon warns that the prosperity gospel continues today through movements like the Word of Faith movement and preachers who claim believers can obtain wealth and health through faith. It concludes by explaining why the prosperity gospel remains popular but is contrary to

These false teachers forbid marriage and certain foods. Paul teaches Timothy to instruct the church using the whole counsel of God and to be an example to believers in his conduct. It then explores how Jesus made disciples by choosing ordinary people and transforming their lives. The rest of the document outlines the essential qualities of a disciple, such as following Jesus above all else, living according to the word of God, bearing spiritual fruit, loving the church, sharing in Jesus' sufferings as well as glory, and seeking God's kingdom first.
How do prophecies about the return of Jesus Christ fit into the daily lives of Christians? Indeed, does interest in such notions simply distract us from our central mission: preaching the gospel and making disciples? I would like to explore essential elements about prophecy that will suggest that looking for Christ's return belongs in the very center of our daily lives.

For Christians, sharing one's identity and blessings in Christ with both fellow believers and non-believers is important. Building Capacity - Developing TradingAbilityIkeja, Lagos

The first capacity to build is stewardship - understanding that everything comes from God and is for God. Faithful stewardship of little things leads to greater responsibility. Building Capacity - Developing Risk Taking AbilityIkeja, Lagos
This document discusses developing risk-taking ability by examining the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30. It argues that both foolish risks undertaken without consideration and prudent risks researched with faith in God can build God's kingdom. While knowledge helps with calculated risks, true confidence comes from trusting God's direction. The document cites biblical figures like Abraham and Jesus' disciples who took risks for God. It closes by asserting that God calls believers not to a timid life but to represent him boldly through risks taken in faith.
Building Capacity - Developing multiply-abilityIkeja, Lagos
The document discusses developing multiply-ability and building capacity. It encourages plugging into God as the source of multiplication. God has given responsibilities and assignments, and expects his followers to trade and work with their gifts to increase and proliferate their impact. Love is described as not taking pleasure in injustice but rather rejoicing in the truth. It does not delight in evil or wrongdoing but finds joy in righteousness. True love treasures truth, celebrates good behavior, and promotes virtue. The document emphasizes that to exhibit God's love means having God's perspective on sin and righteousness by sorrowing over sin but rejoicing at truth and virtue.
This document discusses the importance of love and putting up with others. It notes that total submission to God and trust in His lordship allows one to put up with anything or anyone. The goal of love should be Christ. Several reasons are provided for why people may not want to put up with others, such as loss of sight, pride, laziness, and focusing on self. However, when filled with God's love, one can see others through God's eyes and express lack of faith by refusing to tolerate others. It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
