This document summarizes the smoking habits of Vietnamese people based on a survey of 1,935 Vietnamese aged 18-49. Some key findings: - 23% of Vietnamese smoke regularly or irregularly. 46% had their first cigarette between ages 16-18. - Stress relief, relaxation, and focus were common reasons for smoking. 66% have tried to quit, primarily for health reasons. - On average smokers consume around 5 cigarettes per day and spend about 100,000 VND per month on cigarettes.
