1. Niche radio show
• Jingles
• Short stories during talk
• Interactive radio games
• Upcoming songs and
previously played songs
Informal style of presenting and
casual tone of voice towards the
audience to make it a fun and
interesting show to listen to
Music and talk will be balanced with
more talk earlier because not many
people will be listening compared to
later because most people will be
driving to work.
At least 6 songs should be played
between long talks and reminder of
what has been played recently every
three songs
Jingles will be constantly played
between each song to signify the
end of the song and the start of
something else either talk or
another song. Each jingle will
inform what the radio station is,
who the DJ is and the name of the
show
Interactive radio games are good
because they allow more
interaction between the DJ’s as
well as earn the radio money from
texts and calls
2. Mainstream radio show
• Jingles
• Adverts
• Talk
• Upcoming and previous songs
• Interactive Radio games
The style of presenting will be
informal yet informative because it is
supposed to be a fun and engaging
morning show to get you ready for
the day at work and school
Any adverts will be aimed
towards 30-40 year olds
because these are the ages of
parents that have power over
the spending of the families
disposable funds
Jingles will be featured between
every song to remind people of
what station they are listening to
as well as provide a transition for
songs. They will include the DJ,
radio station and radio show
name
Music and non-music balance is
very important to keep the
radio show interesting. So at
least 7 songs will be played with
an occasional mention of
upcoming songs. Then an
advert break of 3 back to back
adverts will occur aimed at
older audiences
Interactive radio games are
good because they allow
more interaction between
the DJ’s as well as earn the
radio money from texts and
calls
