3. Il progetto Remote Care di SITAEL S.p.A. mira a migliorare i servizi
medico-assistenziali rivolti a cittadini anziani affetti da disturbi cronici
quali CHF e BPCO.
CHF è l’acronimo di scompenso cardiaco cronico
• 15 milioni of Europei ne sono affetti, Maggiore causa di ospedalizzazione oltre i 65 anni
• Incidenza di 3.600.000 nuovi casi / anno; 2% del budget totale dell’ healthcare
BPCO è l'acronimo di broncopneumopatia cronica ostruttiva
• interessa più del 50% dei maschi fumatori di età superiore a 65 anni
• i ricoveri ospedalieri per BPCO risultano al 7° posto in Italia (2003 )
