Improve outcomes for women, infants and families and to support ongoing health and well-being. In the weeks after birth, a woman must adapt to multiple physical, social and psychological changes. She must recover from childbirth, adjust to changing hormones, and learn to feed and care for her newborn. In addition to being a time of joy and excitement, this “fourth trimester” can present major challenges like lack of sleep, pain, depression, lack of sexual desire and urinary incontinence. Postnatal Therapy will help all this issues.
The banana plant grows in tropical climate. It is cultivated more in Caribbean countries including India. It is believed that banana was first found in Malaysia. While Uganda is at the forefront of consumption. However, this fruit has been flourishing in India since ancient times. It is well described in Sanatan religious texts. While banana is most loved by Lord Vishnu. For this, banana plant is worshiped on Thursday.

Abstract: Good nutrition is important for all New Zealanders, but it assumes an even greater Importance for women when they are pregnant or breastfeeding their infant. Pregnancy is a time when nutritional needs are higher, and meeting those needs has a positive effect on the health of both the mother and her unborn baby. The effects of nutrition while the foetus is developing during pregnancy last for a lifetime, and we want to see children inherit a legacy of good health for the future. We also want to see women enjoying a healthy pregnancy without the negative effects of poor nutrition on their health, and in the best possible nutritional state to support breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is the best and safest way to feed infants, and women and families need to be given all the advice and support possible to assist them in establishing and continuing breastfeeding for at least the first six months of the infant’s life.
This paper brings together all the key areas of food and nutrition affecting the health of pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is intended that health practitioners ,educators and caregivers will use this paper and the accompanying health education booklets, Eating for Healthy Pregnant Women and Eating for Healthy Breastfeeding Women, to provide sound advice and support to pregnant and breastfeeding women and their families to achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Flu Vaccine Alert in Bangalore Karnatakaaddon Scans
As flu season approaches, health officials in Bangalore, Karnataka, are urging residents to get their flu vaccinations. The seasonal flu, while common, can lead to severe health complications, particularly for vulnerable populations such as young children, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions.
Dr. Vidisha Kumari, a leading epidemiologist in Bangalore, emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated. "The flu vaccine is our best defense against the influenza virus. It not only protects individuals but also helps prevent the spread of the virus in our communities," he says.
This year, the flu season is expected to coincide with a potential increase in other respiratory illnesses. The Karnataka Health Department has launched an awareness campaign highlighting the significance of flu vaccinations. They have set up multiple vaccination centers across Bangalore, making it convenient for residents to receive their shots.
To encourage widespread vaccination, the government is also collaborating with local schools, workplaces, and community centers to facilitate vaccination drives. Special attention is being given to ensuring that the vaccine is accessible to all, including marginalized communities who may have limited access to healthcare.
Residents are reminded that the flu vaccine is safe and effective. Common side effects are mild and may include soreness at the injection site, mild fever, or muscle aches. These side effects are generally short-lived and far less severe than the flu itself.
Healthcare providers are also stressing the importance of continuing COVID-19 precautions. Wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene, and maintaining social distancing are still crucial, especially in crowded places.
Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting vaccinated. Together, we can help keep Bangalore healthy and safe this flu season. For more information on vaccination centers and schedules, residents can visit the Karnataka Health Department’s official website or follow their social media pages.
Stay informed, stay safe, and get your flu shot today!

Title: Sense of Smell
Presenter: Dr. Faiza, Assistant Professor of Physiology
Qualifications:
MBBS (Best Graduate, AIMC Lahore)
FCPS Physiology
ICMT, CHPE, DHPE (STMU)
MPH (GC University, Faisalabad)
MBA (Virtual University of Pakistan)
Learning Objectives:
Describe the primary categories of smells and the concept of odor blindness.
Explain the structure and location of the olfactory membrane and mucosa, including the types and roles of cells involved in olfaction.
Describe the pathway and mechanisms of olfactory signal transmission from the olfactory receptors to the brain.
Illustrate the biochemical cascade triggered by odorant binding to olfactory receptors, including the role of G-proteins and second messengers in generating an action potential.
Identify different types of olfactory disorders such as anosmia, hyposmia, hyperosmia, and dysosmia, including their potential causes.
Key Topics:
Olfactory Genes:
3% of the human genome accounts for olfactory genes.
400 genes for odorant receptors.
Olfactory Membrane:
Located in the superior part of the nasal cavity.
Medially: Folds downward along the superior septum.
Laterally: Folds over the superior turbinate and upper surface of the middle turbinate.
Total surface area: 5-10 square centimeters.
Olfactory Mucosa:
Olfactory Cells: Bipolar nerve cells derived from the CNS (100 million), with 4-25 olfactory cilia per cell.

2. Blocked fallopian tube is one of
the reasons why women can not
get pregnant, so female friends
with a mother-being dream must
be treated in time.
3. Clinically, physical therapy is a common
method for the treatment of blocked
fallopian tubes and plays a very
important role in the treatment of
this disease.
Early treatment of blocked fallopian
tubes is usually concerned with some
superficial substance treatments.
4. But local physical treatment
can only improve local blood
circulation, and has little
effect on the treatment of
intraperitoneal blocked
fallopian tubes.
5. Gynecological inflammation is short-
term, but the fallopian tube
blockage caused by it is permanent.
For acute infections, you can take
antibiotics to get a cure.
Doctors explain that the main cause of blocked fallopian
tubes is usually gynecological inflammation, most of
which is caused by bacteria ascending infection.
6. P I L L
But for the chronic infections, a better option is
the herbal medicine Fuyan Pill, which is often
used for females with chronic inflammations like
pelvic inflammatory disease, which is a common
cause of blocked fallopian tubes.
7. During the treatment, female
patients can not count on the
medicine alone.
They should also focus on the
daily conditioning at the same
time, in which the diet matters.
9. Fresh milk and fruits
1
After patients
suffer from the
disease, the daily
intake of fresh
milk is 250-500g,
along with 400g of
vegetables and
200g of fruits.
These basically
meet your body's
needs for vitamins
A and C as well as
calcium and iron.

Eggs
For some patients with weak physique or to have
some food supply, at least 1-2 eggs should be
added every day.
Generally, eggs are rich in protein,
calcium, phosphorus and various
vitamins, which are helpful for the
recovery of patients with blocked
fallopian tubes.
11. 3
E A N
B
Beans
Beans are rich in easily digestible protein, B
vitamins, C, iron and calcium.
Soybean sprouts, mung bean sprouts also
contain rich vitamin E. Doctors suggest that
you can take about 80g of these foods a day.
12. 4 Meat
Fish and meat can provide a large amount of
required protein. Daily intake is about 100g.
Remember, don't eat too much of these foods.
13. 5 Vitamin
The diet of patients should not
only be to maintain the
metabolic balance of patients,
but also meet a variety of
nutrients, so that all kinds of
food are under reasonable
consumption. The various food
match can make the vitamin
intake balanced and sufficient.
14. 6 Calcium, phosphorus and iron
For females who want to have kids, the
fetus health is rather important. Calcium
and phosphorus are essential elements for
fetal bones and teeth, and iron is an
important element in making blood and
tissue cells. Patients should eat more
calcium-rich egg yolk, shrimp skin, beans,
and iron-rich lean meat, etc.
