This document discusses somatotypes, which are three categories used to identify body shapes: endomorphic, mesomorphic, and ectomorphic. Endomorphs tend to carry more fat, mesomorphs have more muscle and bone mass, and ectomorphs are leaner and thinner. Most people have a combination of types. Certain sports attract certain somatotypes - for example, basketball players tend toward the tall, thin ectomorph/mesomorph category, while sumo wrestlers tend toward the heavier endomorph type. The document provides descriptions and examples to explain somatotyping and which types are suited to different sports.

Overtraining can be called as an imbalance of training stress and recovery. That is too much training (and all other possible stressors like work, family, time lag etc.) followed by too little recovery that will result in decreased adaptation state.
The below training fitness standards are different from the Applicant Physical Abilities Test (APAT) fitness standards.
This hand-out has been designed to educate the reader on the United States Secret Service Physical Fitness standards and the proper protocols necessary to accomplish those standards. Recruits who will be attending training at the James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) are expected to arrive in good physical condition, ready to begin a functional fitness program.
The fitness evaluation measures strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in four core elements. The core elements are Push-ups, Sit-ups, Chin-ups, and the 1.5 mile run. The fitness evaluation will be administered at the beginning, during, and end of training. Secret Service weapon carrying employees are additionally required to participate in the USSS Physical Fitness Evaluation quarterly.
The following point system will be applied to the fitness category level achieved by the student in accordance with their age and gender. The point system will be applied to the four (4) core elements of the U.S. Secret Service Individual Fitness Profile Evaluation.

Apache Apex and Apache Geode are two of the most promising incubating open source projects. Combined, they promise to fill gaps of existing big data analytics platforms. Apache Apex is an enterprise grade native YARN big data-in-motion platform that unifies stream and batch processing. Apex is highly scalable, performant, fault tolerant, and strong in operability. Apache Geode provides a database-like consistency model, reliable transaction processing and a shared-nothing architecture to maintain very low latency performance with high concurrency processing. We will also look at some use cases where how these two projects can be used together to form distributed, fault tolerant, reliable in memory data processing layer.

Dr. William Sheldon was an American psychologist and physician born in 1898. He was deeply inspired by the work of famous philosopher and psychologist, William James.
He felt certain that the psychological tendencies of the human mind had physiological origins. In the 1940s, he developed his now infamous theory of the three somatotypes.
There are numerous Physiological terms being used in the field of Physical Education and Sports. For all the trainers, coaches and Physical Education teachers, the clarity and well understanding of all these terms is very important to make the players or the students understand fully, so that better methods of training or teaching may be facilitated. This paper will review the general Physiological concepts that already used in the field of Sports and Physical Education.
Because the exercise routine you choose needs to be tailored to fit your body type.
Here’s what you need to know about training and caring for your individual body type.
Everybody’s body can be classified in one of three ways: endomorph, mesomorph and ectomorph. These terms are used to describe your basic physical characteristics and tie in with how your body will adapt to exercise.

For more than 11 years, Earthing research and feedback from individuals who have grounded themselves, primarily while sleeping at night, demonstrate a multitude of benefits. Here is a short list of them:
1. Improvement or elimination of the symptoms of many inflammation-related disorders
2. Reduction or elimination of chronic pain
3. Better sleep and faster to sleep, Normalized melatonin (sleep hormone) and cortisol (stress hormone) levels
4. Protection against potentially health-disturbing environmental electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
5. Lowered stress, more calmness by cooling down the nervous system and stress hormones
6. Normalization of the body's biological rhythms
7. Thinner blood, improved blood pressure and flow
8. Muscle tension and headache relief
9. Lessened hormonal and menstrual symptoms
10. Dramatically faster healing and reduction/prevention of bedsores
11. Reduction/elimination of jet lag
12. Increased energy
13. Accelerated recovery from intense athletic activity

New Drug Discovery and Development .....NEHA GUPTA
The "New Drug Discovery and Development" process involves the identification, design, testing, and manufacturing of novel pharmaceutical compounds with the aim of introducing new and improved treatments for various medical conditions. This comprehensive endeavor encompasses various stages, including target identification, preclinical studies, clinical trials, regulatory approval, and post-market surveillance. It involves multidisciplinary collaboration among scientists, researchers, clinicians, regulatory experts, and pharmaceutical companies to bring innovative therapies to market and address unmet medical needs.

Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.
