This document discusses a research project aimed at improving managerial decision making in project portfolio management through the use of visual tools and methods adapted from design and architecture. The project involves cross-disciplinary sessions between fields, development of experimental prototypes, and evaluation of whether the visual methods can improve decision quality and make decision making more accessible. The goals are to test visual representation prototypes and continue customizing visual tools to different cognitive styles.
