Introduction
■ TextMarks, a mobile communications company, helps businesses and other
organizations meet their communication needs through mass texting, text
autoresponders and other SMS services. TextMarks services have many
potential applications, including improvement of survey response rates.
While text messaging can be a solid component of a survey return strategy, it
cannot be the only component. If you’re looking for a better response rate on
marketing and business surveys, try these methods.
Keep surveys both short and infrequent. People don't want to spend even half
an hour on a survey, and don't want to fill them out every week, either. Send
surveys rarely, and try to keep them to ten questions or less. Carefully assess
what data is most valuable, and focus in on that.
Customers will put up with surveys more regularly, and be more motivated to
answer questions thoroughly, if given some sort of reward.Texting about this
reward can lead to a rapid response rate, as well. Common rewards include
coupons, discounts, or payment in money or goods, with more valuable data
typically resulting in bigger payments.

Solid Survey Turnaround Tactics

  • 2. Introduction ■ TextMarks, a mobile communications company, helps businesses and other organizations meet their communication needs through mass texting, text autoresponders and other SMS services. TextMarks services have many potential applications, including improvement of survey response rates. While text messaging can be a solid component of a survey return strategy, it cannot be the only component. If you’re looking for a better response rate on marketing and business surveys, try these methods. Keep surveys both short and infrequent. People don't want to spend even half an hour on a survey, and don't want to fill them out every week, either. Send surveys rarely, and try to keep them to ten questions or less. Carefully assess what data is most valuable, and focus in on that. Customers will put up with surveys more regularly, and be more motivated to answer questions thoroughly, if given some sort of reward.Texting about this reward can lead to a rapid response rate, as well. Common rewards include coupons, discounts, or payment in money or goods, with more valuable data typically resulting in bigger payments.
