This document contains information about a smart street lighting project developed by group members Humaira Anwar, M. Imran Rameel, Danish Umair, Ahad Hussain Javed, and M. Bilal Sarwar. It details the objectives to design an energy saving smart street light system using integrated sensors and controllers. The methodology uses LDR sensors to detect night, infrared sensors to detect vehicle movement, and a microcontroller to intelligently control street light activation. Calculations show the system can save over 70% of energy compared to traditional lighting.
