Snapchat is a picture sharing application for Iphone and and android devices that allows users
to send short clips with pictures or videos to their friends/ Colleges
Snapchat recently released the “Snapchat Story”. A new feature that allows the users to put up
short slide shows of their “Snaps” for anyone of their friends to see.

Why it is Big:
●

People like texting (imessage) and picture sharing (instagram) so why not combine the two? This app is
especially popular because is wide spectrum of usage and possibilities.

What it is all About:

Facebook is an information, picture, status sharing website.
Facebook also has FB chat, a form of private chat with one of your friends.
Facebook also has FB video chat, a form of private video chat powered by skype.

Why it is Big
●

Facebook helps people meet, reunite, and learn about their friends. It is basicly a little biography
for anyone to see about you. Whats not to lose?
TWEETER
What it is all about

Twitter is a Social messaging app that allows users to write short snippets to talk about anything
and everything.
Twitter allows its users to follow and be followed by their friends, Brands and (Most) public
figures

WHY IT IS BIG
●

Twitter allows its users to learn about anyone who tweets. They can also write funny, politically
persuasive, or mean tweets (#amandabines)
“THE INSTAGRAM”
WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT

Instagram allows its users to upload their own pictures, doctor them, and share them.
You can follow and be followed by other users and see their own photos

WHY IT IS BIG
●

Instagram lets you and your friends to like each others photos, use the hashtag system to help
“Advertise” your friends, and it gives you a “Hipster” side.
TEXTING
The most original and probably most popular of
these social media devices, Texting lets you
send short messages privately to your friends
by using cellular waves. Its been used since the
90’s.

Snapchat What it is all About: ● ● Snapchat is a picture sharing application for Iphone and and android devices that allows users to send short clips with pictures or videos to their friends/ Colleges Snapchat recently released the “Snapchat Story”. A new feature that allows the users to put up short slide shows of their “Snaps” for anyone of their friends to see. Why it is Big: ● People like texting (imessage) and picture sharing (instagram) so why not combine the two? This app is especially popular because is wide spectrum of usage and possibilities.
  • 4. FB What it is all About: ● ● ● Facebook is an information, picture, status sharing website. Facebook also has FB chat, a form of private chat with one of your friends. Facebook also has FB video chat, a form of private video chat powered by skype. Why it is Big ● Facebook helps people meet, reunite, and learn about their friends. It is basicly a little biography for anyone to see about you. Whats not to lose?
  • 5. TWEETER What it is all about ● ● Twitter is a Social messaging app that allows users to write short snippets to talk about anything and everything. Twitter allows its users to follow and be followed by their friends, Brands and (Most) public figures WHY IT IS BIG ● Twitter allows its users to learn about anyone who tweets. They can also write funny, politically persuasive, or mean tweets (#amandabines)
  • 6. “THE INSTAGRAM” WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT ● ● Instagram allows its users to upload their own pictures, doctor them, and share them. You can follow and be followed by other users and see their own photos WHY IT IS BIG ● Instagram lets you and your friends to like each others photos, use the hashtag system to help “Advertise” your friends, and it gives you a “Hipster” side.
  • 7. TEXTING The most original and probably most popular of these social media devices, Texting lets you send short messages privately to your friends by using cellular waves. Its been used since the 90’s.
