As a result, project risk management methods must be built into the management of projects and should be used throughout the project lifecycle.
Many construction projects fail because organizations assume that all the projects would succeed and they therefore do not identify, analyze, and provide mitigation or contingencies for the risk elements involved in the project.
Society desires that all projects should be performing and has become less tolerant of failure (Edwards and Bowen, 2005). Pressure is exerted on project managers to minimize the chance of project failure. This increasing pressure for performance which suggests that it is prudent for anyone involved in a project to be concerned about the associated risks and how they can be effectively managed.
Traditionally, performance of a project is analyzed on the criteria of quality, budget and time of completion. Two more criteria to determine the performance of a project were added by Kerzner (2001). Firstly, the project would effectively and efficiently manage risks and, secondly, it should be accepted by the customer.
It is known that the cause of the projects failure can be directly related to the extent of risk management methods undertaken. Besides, the level of risk management methods undertaken during project lifecycle impacts directly on the performance or otherwise of the project. Furthermore, using risk management methods effectively to manage risk should be continuously undertaken throughout the project lifecycle to enhance project performance. Risk management methods are thus an important tool to cope with such substantial risks in projects performance.
The main objective of the enquiry work that underpins this research is to investigate the effect of risk management methods on project performance. In this paper, a case study of RSSB multi-storey already executed project is considered.

During implementation of the planning strategies he must develop a communication and risk management plan. The risk management plan includes risk identification, monitoring and response. Traffic issue has becoming the worst problem for a long period of time. By experiencing fast growth in national as well as local economic development, demands for public transport increasing as expected; whereas local residents and road users are apparently not satisfied with current poor transpiration system. Therefore, actions should be done and improvement project is required.
This report will outline details of the project, how it will be managed and the measures to ensure its success. Objectives with assumptions and constrains of this project are identified. Following by the expected benefits and outcomes of this project. SWOT analysis regarding on the project’s strength, weakness, opportunity and threat is also demonstrated within this report. Beside, the report will also provides a high level of Work Breakdown Structure and timeline of the project.
The last section are based on literature review on several aspects, include strategic intent, business case and framework and governance. Landscape architecture is a comparatively new concept and is gaining prominence in town and country planning exercises. People marveled at the design of new towns when the infrastructure looks nice and well placed. However, when the planning exercise is not done properly this results in the implementation of poor infrastructure with narrow roads, lack of green spaces, no parking spots, congested streets and so. Architects are still using traditional hand drawing for their designs and sketches which have several limitations. Developing a landscape architecture planning system with appropriate tools will facilitate architects’ tasks and others to have an appropriate to ensure proper landscape planning without unnecessarily wasting time manually. This paper aims to present a desktop application with features for generating appropriate cartography which allows users to place appropriate objects representing real-world urban structures and buildings. The Waterfall methodology was used to build and implement the proposed system. The latter is expected to help in the reduction of parking problems and increase the number of green areas in towns. The application proposed includes appropriate validation techniques to allow users to plan a site and made sure that the standards set for parking spaces and green areas are being respected.

environment aspect (availability of SOP on HSE, air-water-sound pollution prevention and management, contingency plan, post-mining rehabilitation, and access to information and information openness) and social aspect (planning, programs scope, fund allocation,
multi stakeholder involvement, and access to information and information openness).
Appraisal gap occurs because of community’s information lacking –particularly information on HSE standard and Comdev program implementation- that should be provided by company to community, both by means of dissemination and opening community’s access to the
information. Local government’s role in facilitating community’s interests in company in environment and social aspects is not yet optimum, which makes it appear that company and community solve problems between them without local government’s concern.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
