an escape of what society projects upon her as a mother. She unassumingly takes on

composition was a good definition of program music. I enjoyed this piece because it
seemed to tell a story throughout. The performer used tonality to help tell the story,
especially in this piece. Dr. Carlson would build the tension up multiple times
throughout this song, only to resolve it and give a sense of relief to the audience. I
enjoyed it because the song brought on multiple different emotions. One minute,
tensions would be high and the performance seemed frantic, when suddenly the
tonality changes and big boastful notes that make you feel proud and mighty thunder
out of the piano. When I thought of a piano recital, I was not expecting the emotion
Dr. Carlson put into playing the piano, both shaking the audience at times, and quieter
than a church mouse at others. I think some of the most memorable parts were the
lengthy and mesmerizing solos Dr. Carlson displayed. I found myself lost in the
emotion of the piano, and lost watching his fingers play the notes at super speed.
Other memorable parts included loud, triumphant scenes, that followed the quieter,
more thought provoking segments. These parts usually caught me off guard, which
only improved the performance by immersing me deeper into the piece. I would
compare Polonaise in A Flat Major to the Preludes after the intermission. The

In this paper, I will be discussing four major theologians who have the most popular

When it comes to dress code, every individual has a different viewpoint for its
implementation. There are clothes that could be fashionable to one person but seen
as offensive to another. A dress code can be justifiable when put into a situation that
really does require certain attire to be worn. It gives a sense of formality and
distinguishes an individual apart from a group. This report seeks to compare and
contrast the characteristics of school dress codes with that of dress codes in the

We form first impressions and overall judgments about people by the way one

In such workplaces, it is often required to abide by strict policies such as having to

movement to bring satisfactory health care to each and every resident of the United
Kingdom. It was on this date that Park Hospital in Manchester, was opened by the
then health secretary Aneurin Bevan. Opticians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and
doctors were for the first time brought together, under one umbrella organisation, to
provide services that are free for all at the point of delivery (nhs.uk, 2015)
The Second World War had left a considerable impact, in its wake homelessness,
disease and casualties. Directly, it had led to the establishment of an Emergency
Medical Service. Its task was to oversee the treatment of civilian bombing casualties.
At this point, existing authorities such as local councils, ran the hospitals. This was
within a regional framework, with each role being decided on by the Ministry of
Health. The war however did not create new welfare services, but it did create the
political will to change the basis on which these services were offered (Webster,
2001) Comprehensive proposals were further pushed forward by the publication of
